Known Issues of The touch pro2 ( Rhodium )

First, Sorry for my broken english
I want all Issues of the touch pro 2 ( rhodium ) posted in this thread.
Here are as far as i know
- Touch flo 3D isnt starting sometimes
- Sometimes, volume buttons dont work ( you will be returned to home screen when you push on it )
Please add more if known, so other people with same problem, can see if its known or not.
these past few days. my phone is acting weird. The screen keep rotating as if i open the keyboard (I enable the sound when opening the keyboard. that's how i notice it)
crashes if closing apps before they have fully loaded
intermittantly rotates the screen and gets stuck on what ever its rotated to
random crashing if you try and use it with some sort of speed it just cant cope and crashes. i now am wishing i never bothered with htc anymore but i know its not them its microsoft.
But pls also mention the software you all installed.
Especially this screen rotating is fascinating.
As bug I may ad the notitifaction queue which gets corrupted with duplicates.
maybe the push internet is doing that. (Separate post)
Can't dial from Bluetooth device (car handsfree) when device is locked
Had a strange one this morning. The phone received an sms, and it made it's bleep and vibration to let me know. But then it wouldn't stop vibrating. It went on for about 30 seconds. So I powered down with long push of power button, and selecting yes. It still vibrated after shutdown. So I went to take back off to try a soft reset, and then it stopped. Powered up, and no weird things like that. So put it down to a glitch...
My main issue is that reading an SMS doesn't always mark it as read. I will have to get the keyboard out and scroll through the messages with the arrow keys to "read" the messages I have in a thread.

HTC TP2 aka RHODIUM, Keyboard issue..

hey guys...greetings...
I know all of you are geniuses here, so hopefully someone will be able to help me.
I'm working on a application for the TP2, an tht requires a landscape mode.
Now i am able to launch the program in landscape mode, but the problem is i am unable to catch keyboard slide events. What i mean here is the managed code rotates the screen initially, but, if a user slides the keyboard back in, the screen goes back in the potrait mode, thereby making the application throw an exception.
I tried with the reg values
HKLM->SYSTEM->GDI-> ROTATION
HKLM->SYSTEM->KEYPAD->ISSLIDEOUT
But i seem to be going nowhere. The Screen rotates to potrait, my application throws an exception, and the program quits.
Cant i do something tht the system wont detect a keypad slide?
Cos everything i'll be doing is via touch interface. i wont require a hardware keyboard.
If anyone can help, will appreciate it

How to STOP Automatic Keyboard?

Can someone tell me how to stop the keyboard from popping up on the screen when I receive a text message? Its annoying! Always pops up while Im doing something else with the phone. and it pops up while the phone is locked and then makes my phone freeze.
there are several threads about trying to solve this.
Still haven't found an answer yet though.
This is the closest solve so far:

i use fakesip
although its an all-or-nothing solution, it completely replaces the soft keyboard, supposedly you can switch back by selecting a different soft keyboard, but that doesnt work for me and i have to uninstall to get the soft keyboard back (which is fine for me since i never use the soft keyboard)
Click to collapse
Diamond Tweak, point 20.1, disable automatic keyboard, set to disable.

Xperia Play broken screen.

Hey fellasĀ“!
A while ago i discovered a crack in the screen of my xplay. I donĀ“t know what caused it as it happened while i was away :/. Anyway the screen is not responsive at all but the colors looks clean and normal as they should. If i could just get past the lockscreen i would be able to use the gamepad to navigate through the menus and so on. My question is: Can i deactivate the lockscreen with adb or similar? Maybe find a way to simulate touch commands to my beloved phone with a computer? I am thankful to any answer!

Pull down menu is no longer working while in portrait

Hello has anyone experienced this?
Since last night (1/10/18) I have lost the ability to pull down the top menu using the screen.
I can still bring it up if I use the swiping function of the fingerprint reader though.
If i use the phone in landscape I am however able to pull down the top menu.
I tried rebooting several times, I also tried disabling/enabling the swipe gesture function, nothing helped so far.
Note: I do not use any launcher app.
Any idea as to what could cause that?
Just to update anyone stumbling on this post, the phone actually got worse...
The issue evolved into having the entire area of the touchscreen acting up.
Touch and swipes don't get recognized, and on the top of that the screen is tapping and swiping by itself.
Makes it really hard to use. I tried a factory reset but the issues remain.
The touchscreen digitizer probably failed...
Oh well I started an RMA with Google, should get a new phone with 5 days.
Cheers
