Hello,
I have a desire Z and I would like to buy lifetime premium navigation.
I have two questions:
1) If I buy lifetime premium navigation when there is a map update will it be free or I have to pay again?
2) If I put in my phone a custom htc sense 3.5 rom do I lose my premium navigation?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Mario
Map updates are free, even for people without premium navigation. I'm not sure about what custom ROMs do to your license, but it should not be a problem I think.
BTW: I have not yet seen a map update, do they still update them also for "old" phones?
I don't think it matter which phone has it installed. It should all update if there's an update. I don't know cos my custom rom has no HTC Locations. ):

Does anybody know if there is a Gingerbread AOSP ROM that has the 3D Drivers? I'm pretty sure the Nexus One OTA for 2.3.3 already came out...
I am using Oxygen's ROM, and I understand that it is hack-free so therefore it will not include it. Is there like a flashable thing or something?
I'm using Oxygen as well and I don't have any problems with 3D apps. Be sure to have the newest version. It can be found here download.oxygen.im/roms

I'm having problems with games such as Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X, Backbreaker, and other 3D games. Do you know if I just have a faulty copy or if I have to use 2.2?
Just tested the games you mentioned.
No problems so far. If you came from 2.2 without wiping your device, may be a cause for your problems.
I always do a full wipe, when coming from another rom or version. And never had any problems or glitches.

Hi all,
I'm currently using the 1.27 version of Vitrious ROM (Sensation ROM) on my DHD (Ace) but can't use the 'Watch' app :-(
My suspicion is that the 'Watch' app won't work ("unknown error") as it knows its not a Sensation handset.
Can anyone make my DHD think its a Sensation???

Simplest way, would be to amend your build.prop to claim it's a sensation. Not sure it'll work but it's gotta be worth a shot though.
I've seen that the SIII ROM has been lauched and allready the S-Voice apk was posted on the forum.I was wondering if somebody has the Smart Stay apk and will it work on the HOX?
I might be completely wrong, just speculating but i think that they would make a feature like part of kernel/ROM so it wont be readily available :/ I hope it does become readily available !!
Yeah i was thinking about that too, otherwise i think that the developers would launch the app allready.

Yeah, I wouldn't think It's just an Apk you can use, It's probably built well into the framework
Guys, you might want to check screebl app in Google play, it does keep screen on while depending on phone's axis orientation.
But yes smart stay is much better Lol.

There definitely are but its not smooth by any means. Also I heard the voice search doesn't work. Try and do some searching and ill look for the links, I think I saved them somewhere

You can get Google Now for ICS in this thread: [MOD][ICS] The Google Now for ICS Project [ARMv6 & v7]
I've been using it for a while now and it works pretty well, although not as perfect as in most of the youtube videos you've probably seen of the JB version.
For the Vision you need the ARMv7 version.
Google Now is not available for GB and probably won't ever be.
