It's worth a shot, if you RUU and it still doesn't work I'd imagine it' fried.

Yeah, that's what I would do. Plus if it doesn't fix it, it's ready to send in. Just make sure you use unrevoked's s-on tool first (before the RUU) so you can send it back.

I don't see why not, unless you're doing something to break it. Mine works great
Could flashing a bunch of roms break it? Mine used to work amazingly..

The app in the market you suggest isnt very good. Way to many steps for one, and the animation isnt very nice compared to the nexus s. But thanks anyways.

I get that but you don't need to look through it he should know. when someone asks for something or a link i provide one because its nice to do instead of searching forever for it.
hey guys.. that crt animation (screen shut off) and the screen over shot (orange glow) are actually add-ons to that rom. they aren't actually part of the rom. you have to d/l the rom, install it, then flash all the rest of the add-ons.
Why don't we have the screen on animations for the EE03 and CM7 releases...what's the difference from the screen off animation?

As far as I can tell by examining the install script, this is not a permanent install.
Everytime you reboot, it will go back to the original CWM and you will have to run the install again to get this recovery.

You are right. It works perfectly. Does backups and installs but won't stick. How can we make it stick sfhub? By packing it into a stock kernel?

Yes, pack it into a stock kernel and flash/install the resulting kernel.
Curious, have you tried flashing the modem?

just wanted to let you know that Auto rotate is glitchy, and ROM Controls button FC's everytime. The Aroma Installer experience was awsome lol
Use root explorer and replace the romcontrol.apk with the one from aokp m6

Really? I would suggest just injecting Chrome into your chosen ROM before you flash it, but if you're too lazy to download it from Play, that probably wouldn't work either.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
Frost, I already tried downloading it from play...didn't work. (Why didn't I think of that before? Hhmmmmm) , 2nd I don't know how to inject it into rom. If I did, I would have no problem doing so.
Finally, what's wrong with my request? All others request things on here, why can't I?

Exactly. I try to keep most of my ROMs clear of unneeded bloat, which make file sizes larger (and upload times longer). If anyone wants extra apps, use andy's method.
