Nebula rom so far is great, but I have no clue why the clock received a downgrade in usability.
I was mess'n around with getting the stock useful clock back, the one with the timer and stopwatch.
But I somehow messed it up, now I get a fc on the clock and it's not opening at all. I'm not really wanting to wipe and redo, so is it possible just to flash back in the stock clock app?
I am running nebula 1.0.4 and the stock clock app has stopwatch and timer, so maybe flash that version.
Or download Stopwatch & Timer app from market.

just open the zip file of the ROM with the clock you want, pull the apk out of /system/app and dump into /system/app on your phone with root explorer and reboot. voila
Got the stock clock back
Found this post, downloaded the stock clock.
ClockPackage.apk
Used root explorer to copy the ClockPackage.apk back into system/app directory.
Did a reboot, looked in app drawer and clicked on the white clock icon to make sure it was working.
Using Titanium backup I uninstalled the blue icon clock that gets installed with Nebula ROM - 1.0.5.
After that did a reboot just for kicks to see if the stock clock still worked, and it did.
I use beautiful widgets home weather widget, I had a problem with that, when I clicked on the clock it tried opening the nebula installed clock, so I uninstalled beautiful widgets, then put it right back.
Now all is good again.
This is very simple, its a custom ROM based off of my Stock IMM76D backup. The ROM is intended to serve as a ROM for people who are like me who likes the stock ROM but wish it didn't come with some add-ons that you may never use. It uses mods and battery saving techniques that I found to work for me, but like I said since this is more of a modded stock ROM I'll keep this intro brief.
Removed Apps:
Wallet
Shopper
Google Plus
Genie Widget
Google Earth
Features:
Build.prop tweaks to perserve battery life
Dalvik Cache moved to cache
Build.prop tweaks to allow more screen real estate
Super User (root) and Busy Box
Build.prop tweaks to force better GPU rendering
Zipaligning on boot
I have also removed some of the ringtones and notifications as well as some useless demo videos, I also have customized some settings for better user experience (well at least for me). I am keeping this simple so I'll tell you now I like how the stock ROM works so I have not added any of the CM Mods or Kang Mods and probably won't as of now. Also I am not gonna post any screen shots since this is basically a re-vamp of what you got out of the box ....... anyway take a chance try this out let me know what ya think ...........

As always make sure you know how to flash a ROM before using this or you may encounter problems or even brick your device please follow these instructions:
1: Factory reset data and system wipe
2: Wipe cache
3: Wipe dalvik cache
4: Install ROM .zip file
5: Reboot
To ensure that you get the best out of my preset customizations don't sign into google services when you setup the ROM you can always do this later, try the rom out as is to put it to the test before you add your customizations and settings to it.
Also I use the ClockWork Touch Recovery please be aware that this ROM is not signed and may not work with your recovery.
Also thanks in advance to "Calkulin" since I used his init.d scripts to get this working right.
ENJOY

PLEASE READ: at first boot and every reboot your screen may appear to be stuck at the Google logo YOUR PHONE IS OK I HAVE DISABLED ALL BOOT ANIMATIONS YOUR PHONE WILL BOOT .......................
Note: some of the customizations may conflict with market apps that you want to download or downloaded previously if this happens please search for how to edit build.prop on Google and reset your screen density back to 320 and wipe market data then everything should be a go........

just got this phone..your rom is first =) thanks for your hard work
Thanks just be sure to read the whole first post since I may be using mods and tweaks that the aosp developers and other rom modders might not be
Thanks! Was this just like the previous version you had up just with busybox installed? or was there other changes?
Q: I flashed Jellytime V19 followed by Google Apps then downloaded the rest of my apps manually to my Desire HD. When I upgraded to V20, however, after I flashed Google Apps, all my other apps were restored for me. Brilliant! Then when I upgraded to Jellytime V21 it was back to the old way of downloading my apps manually.
Can someone please tell me why this happened when I did everything exactly the same. I wiped all data and caches and ticked the boxes to back up my account and settings with Google.
There does seem to be something amiss because my apps on Google Play don't tally up with what apps are installed on my phone. This has only recently happened since I have installed custom ROMs.
This little hiccup aside, I think the Jellytime ROM is very well executed and I highly recommend it.
Also, I don't seem to have the round battery graphic that is included from V20 onwards?
Thanks in advance. Your help is appreciated.
Don't know about the apps, since I backup and restore from ROM Toolbox Pro, but the circle battery is in Settings - System - Status bar - Battery status style.

Thanks for that. I was expecting the circle battery meter to be set up when I flashed the ROM. :good:
Verizon version running 4.2.2 stock rooted. Tried installing the 3.0 desk clock apk from android 4.4. I first backed up the apk with titanium, then removed 2.3.0. Then installed the 3.0 apk. The new app crashed immediately. Tried to uninstall 3.0 and restore 2.3 but now that crashes too. Tried everything from reboots and reinstalls, even recovery mode and wiping dalvik cache. Nothing works and I am stuck with no clock app.
Help.
Got the same issue a few minutes ago! I fixed it by
Settings > Apps > all > Clock ( the smaller one, about 0,88 in my case. Not the bigger one with 3mb)
Clear data in the main (bigger) App.
Working for me perfect so far! I guess the FC is caused by the clock settings for lock screen... Hope that works for you too!

No dice. Nothing works for me. I fear I may need to re-flash the stock ROM. Although, at this point I might as well flash a 4.3 ROM since Verizon is still holding out.
Just did a factory reset and still the clock crashes....... arrrrgh!
Had to do a full wipe, flash 4.2.2 and re-root. But now my clock works.
Next time I will wait for the update!
I wiped everything and fastbooted the New Factory image for android L on my Nexus 4. There is no lockscreen (even though it says there is under settings) no status bar or the 3 buttons, Also it came with stock lancher. Any Help and Advice?
