Any videos or pictures of these used on the device? Would love to get one but I have no idea how it looks/what thickness it adds, etc.
Thanks for the links!

I think it will be bad for our gps

Would like to hear from someone who has already purchased one of these before i get one, look nice though.

expensive
check dealextreme/focalprice.com that you probably get lower prices
search for i9100, instead of galaxy s II

amen! amen!

I would strongly recommend to think about how hot our phone is in games like Asphalt 6 and imagine how hot it will be if u use metal cover. Don't get you fingers burned.

Now, you can actually literally "feel" the engine moving in Asphalt 6, or more like burning

Metal Battery Door. Pics inside

This makes the GN look and feel a heap better. After I got one on my old S2 I got one straight away for my new GN and it was $12. Ebay it.
NFC has not been affected BTW.

Wow, looks beautiful.
Do you know if they make one for the Verizon version?
would this break my phone in anyway? like the plastic things that hold the back door in place, hope i made sense lol
Looks nice. But any metal will negatively affect sensitivity of the radio bluetooth wifi and GPS. :-/
It has plastic on the inside. And I can't see it affecting radios too much.

I second this! seems liek a fun acessory to have
Schweeet! I think I want one!
If you search "galaxy nexus battery door metal" on ebay you'll see tons of auctions. They look really good. I would like to see if they have one for the extended battery.
These have been discussed in the Accessories section for weeks. Consensus from the handfull of people that picked one up was that it blocked both GPS and NFC. Yours doesn't?
I just searched on ebay,...looks like no CDMA love.
there is a forum on them in the accessories section and it killed both my nfc and Gps. But I does look great and feels awesome.

Mugen has pretty decent support. Write them, show them pictures, and they'll send you out a new back or two
The one I have is not Mugen but the cheap 5000mAH one you find in ebay.
I was wondering how the Mugen quality since they are the most expensive one.
Not cool bro, shows again that affording a bit more is the safer way.
A friend had to send phone back to samsung because extended battery caused problems during booting
I have the Mugen battery and i am very pleased with the quality. The back cover has a textured feel slightly soft to the touch. Very high quality.

The battery itself works great for the price except for the back cover.
I have manage to remove all the peeling and now thinking of a good spray can
Btw, it looks like there is a huge chunk missing on the lower right corner..
if its a missing chunk its saying you are playing football with your phone and its no suprise the thing is peeling off

yes ... but .. I heard it could cause problems
I have the same case, but in black. It works well to protect the phone. The bundled screen protector is crap though
Silicon case & wifi/gps-reception
I use a much thicker rubber case, which adds more grip to the smooth aluminium and never experienced any issiues.
but I found this Post/Thread and can confirm that the Wifi and/or GPS reception is better without any case!

(Last video @bottom shows a comparsion of signal reception with & without case)

Really? like what?
Hi!
This case is good, I had a bag like case with aluminum protection in it, but after a while It's skin damaged and aluminum makes my phone scratchy!
Now I use such the first post cover + a screen protector!
Sorry for very bad English!
I have the feeling that my silicone case messes GPS signal

MyBat Hardshell Case?

I just ordered one. It seems like a decent alternative while we wait to see if the LG hardshell case ever materializes.
I've had mybat screen protectors before for my other phone, and honestly they seem like another generic brand to me.

This case is a piece of **** (POS).
Doesn't fit the phone and falls apart.

Two major problems:
1. It's a snap case which takes the absolute least amount of force possible to unsnap. It was sold as a hardshell case... not a snap together pos case.
2. It will not "snap together" with my glass screen protector. (I have not tried to install the case without it).

Quick Photos... iPulse Journal S8+ Case

Ok, so I picked up the iPulse case on Amazon. Most of the time my phone is bare or with a non-flip case but when I travel or have a business meeting, I dress it up a bit and I can leave my wallet at home. I really hate PU Leather and wanted something that acted like a stand too. Am I asking too much? Yes... but I did find ALMOST everything I wanted in this case.
The case holds up to 3 cards (or 3 cards and a license like I did). The feel is totally premium.
The case that holds the phone is surprisingly soft and the cut outs are perfect. Buttons on the left are easy to get to. There is enough room in the middle to get to them.
I have 2 gripes. One, the pocket is supposed to hold paper cash BUT its just barely small. As a result, its kinda useless. The other is that I wish the corners were rounded more because it feels a little bulky and that would help tons. It is totally worth the price though. Link to it is here.
