mms problem in black majic

hello all, I upgraded to Shadow and it's a great rom, but is anyone having trouble with just mms messages? I can send them fine and i can receive them, but my phone won't play the sound or show the video/picture without me manually saving the file and opening it with a media player. Can anyone help with this issue? Are there some special settings that i need for the new updated mms software in shadow. My carrier is Cingular/Att. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

STOP MAKING NEW THREADS FOR ISSUES WITH BLACK MAJIK! Christ, you idiots clutter te forum with yoru whinny threads. There's a thread dedicated to Black Majik and any issues. Go post in there stupid. I'm gettin sick of seeing this ****.
AND USE THE GODDAMN SEARCH! There's a zillion and one posts on mms settings and CABs!

You beat me to it.
I was just going to say something similar, but I would of added all kinds of nice words, because we're supposed to be nice to noobs, no matter how much stupid clutter they add to the forums.
And by no means would I drop an f-bomb.

6.1 sms Threading time issue. Cab Fix?

Ive searched all over this forum, but i havent found any1 else w/ this problem.
I have the kavana 6.1 rom (best one to date) on my excalibur. Everything is great, but i noticed when i receive a text from someone, it will look like this:
person1: (8.08 pm) :
hey !
me: (8:06 pm) :
whats up !
As u can see i obviously responded "after" the person, but my time is logged as though i sent the message prior to them. sometimes this screws up the order when i go back into earlier convos. I tried jumping my clock ahead 3 minutes, works for like half a day, then it starts f'in up again. And no, i am not texting someone out of the country. Thanks in advance. And if someone has already posted this problem, i apologize

wana send text msgs to multiple recipients

hi fellows!
i bought XDA Orbit a few days ago and its my first ever PDA, i m totally new to this windows mobile and stuff like that. i m reading different posts and threads and they are really helping me alot.
the only problem im facing right now is that im a texting freak. i send text messages alot and mostly i forward, so i want to create group of people or atleast need facility to mark multiple recipients for 1 text message (like is available in simple JAVA fones).
i have searched but no significant results were found, ACTULLY I NEED A FREE APPLICATION FOR THIS, so any body can please guide me to the thread in which such application is mentioned, or in any way can help me???
may be it seems small, but its an ISSUE for me, so please help me, i'll be grateful... thanx...

If You have gprs down load open market, search ther old sap smser. I think that will serve your purpose.

Okay i know there are plenty of ppl out there than think video caller ID is
a waste of time resorces ect...
but i like it anyway i am using Video Caller ID off the android app store i rather
like this app however i have noted a small bugg but i am not sure if it is
Software or with the android os settings....
I set the program up and got it working however when i get a call now i get
the Video ringtone i selected but when i hanswer the call i have to then
answer the call in the normal fasion for my phone....
any one know how to solve this one please i am still trying to find the
solution but any help given is greatly appreciated.

Big problem with mms

Hello guys!
I'v have been serching and looking and asking questions for a few days now and there where some peaple that try'd to help me with my problem..
Have change the mms.apk in the rom, also try'd write an other proxy on the apn and have changed some diffrent things in the rom file that peaple said to me but that ain't working either. and try'd even more things. But it does't help, NOTHING Im getting so sad right now..
I use to mms alot with my friends and family, but now i can't send or watch the mms that my friends send to me.
I'm sorry for my bad english, hope some off you guys understand and can help me. :angel:

It's now been three months since you posted this. Have you found a solution to the problem?
I had originally assumed that it was a problem with the MMS APK not having been updated to JB level and having difficulties with the new JB file structure (which caters to different user profiles), but the problem isn't consistent, so it can't be this.
I can successfully send MMSs 70-80% of the time, but when someone sends one to me, I get the header but the message fails to download.
Currently using SlimBean 3.1, but I've experienced this same problem with other JB ROMs, both on this 'phone and others.
