Too bad they don't have the keyboard case either. Makes me wish THAT was a motorola product.
I was also confused about the shipping since when you add the item to the cart it says you can get free two day shipping and to select that option at checkout, but it still charges you for it.
cool, still worked, but not many accessories. Such as car charger, other gel case colors, etc. But otherwise I will try at a STD dock to hack and a keyboard for that price.

I was hoping for that too. But I just went with the original keyboard instead. They also have 50% off bluetooth accessories.

YUP US only ..........along with 3.1 update, customer support. Even amazon market excludes non US. Yup motorola only interested in US customers as far as I can see. Infact activly excluding the rest of the world. GREAT model for a business. They dont let you know this when you buy thier products.

I looked around to find out more about the "Camera Kit Adapter". From what I can tell, this is an OTG cable and as long as you have Honeycomb 3.1, you can use it to connect a mouse, keyboard or game controller to your Xoom. However, you will not be able to connect a USB flash drive because the USB Host interface does not have the software support for USB-keys. A rooted Xoom with a custom kernel (I assume... but maybe custom ROM too?) may be able to support flash drives. Motorola may also add it in at a later date too.
Can anyone confirm or deny any of this?
I ordered an OTG cable from eBay, but of course it will be a few weeks before I see it, so I was thinking about ordering this too.

I currently use a flash drive on my Xoom. I'm using a custom Tiamet kernel and I'm rooted. It works awesome. I carry my Music and N64 ROM's.
Anyone know how the additional $50 off promotion works? I can only get it to work with the keyboard, but I already have one (which I dont need anymore anyway since I got the verizon folio keyboard case). I tried a set of bluetooth headphones, thinking it might be a "bluetooth" deal, but it didn't work.

Got the HD and standard docks and Car Dock. Just over $80 for the lot.
Already had the standard and car docks, and got the HD multimedia dock a few months ago when AT&T was having that sale on the multimedia kit (dock, keyboard, and mouse). Otherwise, I'd be all over this deal like white on rice. I am still thinking about getting a second standard dock for my desk at work while they're still available, but I don't need another HD dock (and I can get the standard dock by itself much cheaper on Amazon).

I am looking for an car dock, please suggest me which would be good, i do not mind if it is universal car dock as long as it does not spoil my phone. I am open for anyone selling orginal car dock.
Buying an original brand new car dock is out of question as it has to be shipped from US and not available locally and it is pretty costly by the time it reaches here(Taxes etc)

I'm on the search for one my self and so far Clingo is the best universal car mount there is! I'll be buying one very soon. Or I'll wait bit, I'm sure the official car dock will get very cheap and it will be affordable even including taxes. You can do the same if you are able to wait.

I've used the Motorola Car Dock with both cm7 and cm9. Google's Car Home apk works fine with cm7, though I had some audio glitches and would have to unplug and replug the audio jack.
I'm using Car Home Ultra with cm9 now as the google car home does not work yet and have had great luck with it. Bluetooth and audio jack work as expected.

All Moto Car Dock Audio works flawlessly with CM9 but only once you install the Google car app. At CM7 it was a cluster. Weekly CM7 resolved this, but the audio routing would change to speakerphone if you received or made a call. Blur based ROM is better at 2.3.x. Been running CM9 from jokersax for 4 days. Very impressed. Not worth trying CM7, considering how far along CM9 is at the moment. Some issues exist, but nothing that will prevent you using it as your primary phone.

For anyone interested the HD Multimedia Dock is $28 bucks on Amazon right now. If you wanted the whole Entertainment Center it's on sale for $82 (which just got raised from $77 today).
Dude they are much more cheaper of eBay, I bought mine for about £8 including P+P.

Well the one I had bought was just the standard dock, but the multimedia ones are selling for £15-£20
Can it be used with some other Motorola phones? Like Droid Razr Maxx?
No, as far as I know, because the dock hold the phone into place using the HDMI and charger ports.

I just bought a cable from amazon, and is working the same as the Dock (no charging) i have my atrix set up on my TV with a Bluetooth mouse keyboard combo.

If I was interested in saving my money I would have continued using the hdmi cable that comes with the phone and the wireless keyboard I already own. ($0, beat that! ).
The intent of the post wasn't to see who could come up with the cheapest alternative to a HD dock. It was to let anyone who may be interested in the OEM product know it was on sale for a reasonable price.
That being said, I did end up buying the dock and am very pleased with it. Having it hooked up to my stereo system, coupled with the remote and usb storage, makes it a very nice little setup. I'd always kind of written off the accessories for the phone, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything worked.

I was wondering is there a way to make use of this old Atrix Webtop that I have?
Is there a way to possibly make the keyboard and mouse work and use it to HDMI mirror to it some how?

I am using my old keyboard and mouse from the Atrix and it works great. Samsung has a multimedia dock with mini HDMI out and 3.5mm audio out for $49.99 and they are offering 50% off codes via their facebook page for all accessories. This is the main reason most of the accessories are out of stock on their site.
