Hello, I'd like ask you if there is the possibility to unlock this phone from foreign nets (orange Swiss) or if someone has tried, I know the release of a program for unlock galaxy s i9000, but it work also with PLUS i9001 ? Thanks!
I bought one of those today and it seems unlocked already (my swedish sim card was accepted)
And how have you unlock it ? buying code?
I mean I didn't have to do anything, I just put in my swedish sim card and it worked.
Probably it wasn't simlock also.
I have a orange SGS+ and it only accept orange sims.
Mine, Orange Spain, is only accepting Orange simcards...
Any idea on how to unlock it? I tried nv_data method (SGSII) and it didn't works...

i have an h6315 ppc which was orginally bought at T-MOBILE and was unlocked.
anyway, i dont ahve the unlock code and no T-mobile sim . and iwas wondering if updating the rom version from the hp website(which i really need to do!) will turn on the t-mobile restrication again?
i personally think it wont affect it . but im afraid tobe wrong and stuck with a restricted ppc.

No, it will not affect your phone anyway. So I use to have 6315 and I was upgrading several time and I didnt have problems after I used the code and unlocked it. So do it.

Hi everybody, i have a t-mobile dash with the rom 1.11.531.1, and I tried to unlock the sim, to use with the carrier TELCEL o MOVISTAR in mexico, and que question is, If i flash the t-mobile original rom by the rom of this mexicans carrier, that have the htc S620/S621 model, o that other way to use my sim in this smartphone. Thank you

well its your sim unlock if it is it doesn't matter does not affect in anything and its a rom by MOVISTAR because Telcel doesn't have the s620
if its not sim unlock just go to one of those places to unlock your phone for 20.00 buck Ive done it once if you can somehow contact tmobile they will guive you the sim code for free thats how I unlock mine but you need to have a contract with Tmobile.
also you mite be lucky because some Tmobile phones work with telcel without the need of a sim unlock but not all of them.

I try to simunlock sometime many times, with people here in monterrey, but they couldnt, I thought that if i install the rom movistar could be converted into an S620 of movistar and read my sim of this company.
Another thing is that it will not let me put any code that I put it 5 times and bad and I do not believe me if I have to accept a code of gsmliberty, and ask about the code to think tmobile not possible because I have no contract, the cellular me what a gift family and I want to use in mexico.

well tell you what did you input the sim code so many times that your phone is no longer accesible...? if thats the case then I cant help you but, if youre able to acces the main screen on your phone send me your EMEI number its locathed on the back of the phone but send it to my email so you wont have to post it in this site (you dont want unwated people to get that number trust me)

i do believe that after putting in a wrong code so many time, only your carrier can re enable the phone.

had same problem (using Italian Vodaphone SIM) - was able to get phone to ask for unlock code when I inserted an older AT&T SIM which had been deactivated.

Good news, everyone! I think the German Telekom read my post in the sim unlock thread and is frightenend to the bone now, because yesterday they decided to give away the unlock codes for free instead of charging 99,90 € for each unlock. Just enter your IMEI at this page, type in your full name and then you will receive the unlock code immediately (if you bought a phone that is carrier locked by the German Telekom / T-Mobile):

Tested it with 3 Fire Phones and it worked with all of them.
They changed the terms for carrier unlock a few weeks ago (was mentioned in the mydealz community). You may want to check the link again...
