Can anyone give me 1.34.708.5 hk rom? - G2 and Desire Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone give me 1.34.708.5 hong kong rom?
It is an Android 2.2 system

Here's 1.34.708.3, which is from HK.
RUU_Vision_hTC_Asia_HK_CHT_1.34.708.3_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.03.02.18_M2_release_154602_signed.exe
For a big list of shipped roms, go to shipped-roms.com
-Nipqer

i knew it before
But i really need a rom is 1.34.708.5 from hong kong

Why that specific rom? Are you sure it exists?
I don't really see them releasing a rom .2 very minor revisions apart.
-Nipqer

It is because this rom is an official rom, I really want to get it back.
Also, maybe someone can provide a rom which can show Chinese Language and the version is Android 2.3.3 or higher
Thank you so much

New Official WM6.5 EU ROM with Sense 2.5

Did you know, that (theoretically) there's a new/updated WM6.5 EU ROM with Sense 2.5?
Though I was not able to find it on HTC's site, but here's a thread about it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=634536
Anyone knows why it is not downloadable from HTC's website? It seems that the SEA version is there, but not the EU version.
Thanks for the information!
I'd guess that the European version isn't 'officially' out yet - there's historically been differences in release dates so I wouldn't worry too much.
In any case, having read some of the feedback on the SEA version here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=634301
I'd be more inclined to wait for a bit longer for them to iron out any issues.

Yep, you're probably right. Maybe we just have to wait some more days to be there. Though the task manager issue is really distressing... :\
may be somebody can answer my small question
these european roms... do they include all languages from EU ? or why do they exist? (cause we have also single roms from each EU country)
thx
I don't think there's a rom for each and every EU country. For example I don't think that a Hungarian ROM exists on HTC's site and even if it is, I would still prefer an English ROM.

Is this official 2.2.2 Froyo or something else ?

Hi,
I couldn't confirm the origin of these files:
http://and-developers.com/sbf:defy
=> The files under 2.2.2 Froyo Service Flashes, are they official ones or something weird from the internet (e.g. a beta/ a leak etc.)
Thanks!!
*bump*
2nd bump (really need to know this)
Some are official while some are "leaked" eg. the UK 177 is official release whereas I'm sure the Nordic was a leaked version.
Are there any information on the quality of 2.2.2 Central Europe ? Does leaked mean unfinished/ unstable ?
Where can I get an official 2.2.2 version ?
*edit*
My version (Central Europa 2.2.2) has the version number 3.4.2 179-002 and I cannot find any newer "official" version. So I guess it's the one that also came through the Motorola Software update.

Yes I suppose leaked version may be buggy but when looking at the Nordic leak it's pretty good. The UK 3.4.3-11 leak was also pretty good in my experience whereas the first UK leak 3.4.2-117 had issues like haptic feedback not working on the soft keys.
Also when looking at official versions like the latest official UK build released by Moto Software updater people are reporting issues with that.
I think the Central Europe 179 that you have is the official Moto Software update.
Currently my phone says 179-002! The one I downloaded through Motorolas official software BEFORE was 177-003.
So whatever I currently have is newer than what Motorola offers. I'm from Germany. Maybe the Motorola software somehow recognized that and gave me 177 (current German version). So the question is wether 179-002 is an official version made for the Central European (non German) market or a leaked version.
to make this clear:
first I downlaoded 177 German through Motorolas software
then later I manually flashed 179 CEE from this mysterios sbf:dev page above...
Now I wan't to know what 179-002 CEE is, official or beta/ leaked...

ok thanks, I guess it's the right one then, gonna try CM7 when I have more time at hand...
so far 179 runs fine...

Need help getting off Hong Kong rom

Ok, well I bought my SGS from a parallel importer from Hong Kong. It's running Froyo 2.2 and baseband version is zsjp8 and I want to move to an english only Rom that I can then go from there with. Also I get beyond terrible reception so this is really important. I have Odin but everytime I try to root or flash it, it fails.
Not hugely experienced with this yet but am very keen to learn.
Any help/advice is really really appreciated.

[Q] Current versions of Radio and Rom for Vodafone Australia

Hi,
Given I'm on a custom ROM (well, sort of custom!) I'm just wondering if anybody knows The latest version of the radio and ROM released for Vodafone Australia?
Depending on what the answer is, are there versions of custom ROMS and Radios available for download and installation which have this version? I have one the vanilla ROMS in my phone at the moment but if I can't get the match I'll settle for one of the least changed/radical ones. But of course I need the version numbers first!
Thanks,
Ian
Any ideas, anybody?
Anybody? I'll take full or partial replies from anybody!

Hong Kong gets their own region for HTC ROM builds (separate from Asia, WWE, etc.). What language, I have no idea. I assume either English or Cantonese.
OP can get them at shipped ROMs. HK is for Hong Kong:

Will I be able to use this HK Desire-Z rom on my G2 while still able to use the T-mobile 3G radio band (the 1700)?

The 3G on T-Mobiles (US) network is dependent on the Phone's Radio and capable bands.
ie: an authenic T-Mobile G2 (not merely a HTC Desire Z with a G2 labeling) will have the actual hardware radio band support to do 3G on t-mobile's nework. However it won't have the radio bands for 3G speeds outside of the US. (where as DZ would, but not in the US on T-Mobile).
This will of course remain true regardless of which rom you flash as long as you leave the radio alone. (i.e.: if it stays a 26.03.* or 26.13.* radio that T-Mobile is used to, should remain fine).
I have one laying on my hard disk, which I remember, I've tried to flash it to my Desire Z. I have forgotten where I download it from, but I am willing to share it with you.

Is that a HK Desire-Z stock rom?
The filename is RUU_Vision_hTC_Asia_HK_CHT_1.34.708.3_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.03.02.18_M2_release_154602_signed.zip
I guess it is.
