One is definitely brighter than the other. I used to extract the torch apk from CM7 and use that instead but I just got lazy. That one is definitely brighter, but not as bright as it was on the Droid Incredible 1.

i think it would but itd probably just make the sense keyboard (whatever the apk is called) force close alot, but if you wanna give it a try go for it. make sure you got a backup at hand as always.

Didn't Work
I tried the actual sense 4 keyboard and it didn't work (as expected, but why not
try).
Has anyone had any success with video chatting using Skype on any rom higher then gingerbread? I've tried PA and viper rom with no success. I currently have it working on cm7, but would love to run JB or ICS. Any suggestions?
Edit: I should also mention that I have tried using the modded Skype here on xda.

It has that ability in the options. As for the difference there probably is none

Yep, if you do a search it shows that moto framework is needed for this to work properly. It's been tried in the android software development forum.

As mentioned that app requires Motorola framework to even function
