Hi all, i've got a problem with the notification LED on my HTC desire.
I was on Leedroid, and Aurax HD Sense, i hadn't any problem.
Recently i installed Cyanogen 6.1.1, and then the problem started.
The problem is, that the LED can only blink when i got notifications, but when the phone is charging, there's not any problem. I wiped, like 3-4 times, installed new radio, i don't know when the problem comes from.
Thank You
up!
Please
Perhaps there's a setting that you can change in the settings?
I checked eveything, but i didnt find where comes the problem from
So what is your problem?
The led doesn't work when charging?

Hey folks, I've noticed an issue with my One V (CDMA/PrimoC). Sometimes when I press the power button to turn the screen off, it doesn't fully shut off. In very low light, I can see that there's still a faint glow behind the screen. It doesn't happen often (that I can tell) but I have had some crazy battery drain randomly and this might explain it. My phone is bootloader unlocked, rooted and this issue has occurred on various ROMs (I noted it at least on the stock rom and on shubhamchamaria's nON-sENsE rom v1.1 which I'm currently using).
Has anyone else noticed this happening? If you have, do you know of a fix?
Probally the backlight leakage issue, which means you will have to make it all stock again and send it back to HTC. This is a known hardware problem.

When I turn my phone off, the screen seems to also stay on but it is hardly noticible and turns itself off later

I'm not sure if mine eventually turns itself off but it definitely doesn't turn off at 1 minute like it should normally.
Hello, I asked this question yesterday and fixed it but it appears to have gotten worse.
Pretty much my phone turned off randomly last night and now all I get is a red flashing light, I'm on Cyanogenmod 10. I managed to turn my phone on once and it turned off again, I think it may be stuck on 2% battery or something. I also did the plug into pc then switch to mains and left it to charge but nothing happened, I'm trying to go back to stock ROM too and completely format my phone and start again.
Can someone help me with this? I can't turn my phone on enough to get it into USB mode so I can change the stuff around and I think it may actually be broken, I have no idea how to fix it.

I am on yure's MIUI with weekly updates. Same stock Samsung kernel all the time, but just one day it happened. Now I have the same issue, when 0% and charging with turned off device, I can't turn it back on. It's freezed at the battery-charging-icon, I have to start and unplug to boot properly. Pretty weird...
Guys, I have the same issue but it is NOT charging and freezing on the battery charge logo. Any ideas? My phone cannot turn on now that it is flat. Please help!

Then you don't have the same issue at all!
First of all, have you tried different chargers and USB cables?
If the answer is yet, can you try another battery?
Regards,
Dave

How strange, there was the exact same issue on my sgs, turned out it was a problem with a custom kernel, so weird that this happens on stock kernel then. As far as I know, this is caused when the kernel boots in low power mode, when you have to hold the power button for a bit to boot, and has nothing to do with the battery itself.
I'd try to flash a different kernel anyway, might solve it.

Hi friends.
Please help me with my HOX.
My htc started fast discharging and overheating. Today phone died and would not charge and boot on.
I tried replace with other battery but still nothing (battery was out of power so i plugged phone into wallcharger for 3 hours -> nothing happend)
When i plug phone into wall charger, phone dont do nothing, only one red blink and after that no blink if it is connected into charger.
At PC dont recognize phone (no connection).
I tried clean charging port on phone with small toothbrush -> still nothing.
So please help, I also tried disconnect battery (to be sure that phone is turned off) and then reconnect batery and hold - and + volume button with power button -> still nothing.
Very thank for your answers.
(And sorry for my english  )
Well did you flash any custom Roms or do any battery tweaks try charging the battery in another phone then put it back in your phone that's just to test if its the phone itself
