Yeah, that is what I'm using. I was curious if there was a Samsung one without the advertising like HTC had (which btw does not work on the ET4G).

No ads, no unnecessary permissions. Tons of options and customizability and widgets.
How do I prevent the flashlight from auto shut off
I have my screen set to turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity. I'd like to leave it that way but the flashlight also turns off after 30 seconds. Short of rocking the volume or something is there a way to make a program override the 30 seconds?
I'd probably like to set it for about 5 minutes to autoshutoff for the flashlight.

Why bother taking your case off, or wearing out the battery cover clips, or move more the necessarily?

Yes. To be honest, though, I always thought that it was power+volume up.

Holding it down for around 10 seconds will also do a soft reboot.
You can also open up your dialer and punch in *#350# to do a full reboot.
Thanks for the tip, as a new E4GT and Droid user all these tips and tricks are helpful!
you would think this would be a universal feature on all electronics by now.

When people are shocked that you can "quickly and easily" adjust the brightness of your screen by sliding your finger across the notification menu, then yes, this is definitely ground-breaking news.
Any owner's manual typically holds a few nuggets of awesome like this.

It has nothing to do with trust. He clearly stated his agenda and never gave a timeframe. He even stated a few times he was working on the note abd other phones first since they were easier fixes than our "black sheep" of a phone. He is well know and i wouldnt think that hed take a phone just to take it and not evetually work on it.

The blobs that everyone donated for was clearly a possible hardware issue which means that nobody would be able to fix it without mods made by hand. At best all he could do was look into it. Its not his fault people paid for a new phone just to look into it.
The whole situation is analogous to if Samsung released a new phone where a quarter of them had bad search buttons. It could be a software issue but likely a hardware problem with QA. Instead of exchanging the phone people then proceeded to setup a bounty to buy a new phone to get this fixed. Its looked into and it turns out its just a bad solder connecting the search button. This would of been likely in the first place and people should of just exchanged their phone rather than setting up a bounty for something which has a fair likelihood of being a hardware issue.
You have a hardware issue then exchange your phone.
If the blobs bother you exchange your phone. If the blobs only bother you when you have to follow a page of instructions on how to see it, really. If you need to follow a multi step guide to see it then its not that big of a deal. If it is then exchange your phone.
Just curious...

Yeaaa I turned brightness all the way up and it is much better of course but it is just unfortunate that this bandaid is the end all solution. The battery when playing a game and having the brightness all the way up gets effed.

I don't have to do that when auto brightness is on for me I have lines. When it's off at the lowest brightness no lines. If I can't see in the sun I just slide my fingers across the status bar to adjust.

Hmmm is it safe to say that the supercurio project for the t989 is dead???
Does anybody else have burn in pixels on thier t989!?? Cuz i do!-___- ma whole status bar is burned in n it also has sum other burn in pixel all around the screen i checked it with this app called display tester
I have the burn on my status bar, but I have had that on many phones. No wher eelse though.
No dead pixels here, but I just did a warranty exchange for a green spot on the bottom right corner of the screen that just kept getting bigger. Only had this one for 2 weeks and the screen is flawless so far.....
Well atleat im not da only one with dat problem but i got like burned in spots all over ma screen i can only notice with black the most

guys this is an iphone feature and before you go haters its really cool. I usually have my phone volume down and lay it on its screen. so i miss a lot of calls. My cousin's iphone flash everytime he have a notification or a phone call and it looks really cool. I know this will probably drain your battery but its someone choice to choose this feature or not

Yes there is a way to use this feature. The best option is Beacon, it works like an absolute charm on the s3. It is a paid app, however i have attached the apk. Your welcome. Is the sharing of paid apk's frowned upon? I hope not lol. Anyways good luck, post update to let me know how it worked out.

Why not just turn the phone over and use the built-in LED notification on the front ? You can even configure different colours for different things.

You've been registered for all of a few hours and have already broken the "cardinal" rule of posting Warez. I know for a fact that you have to review the rules before the registration is complete. If this is how it is going to be, then your time here will be short lived. No Warez!!!

sliding is annoying when I pull it out my pocket is rejects the calls a lot of the times
For me, looks more cute to answering thru sliding, it gives me time to change my mind and to quit .
