[Q] How do I install themes for the arc S

Hi, I'm sorry if this is a silly question. But how do I install Themes for the xperia arc S. I found a few themes that I would like to install, what should I do ? Do I need to download them into my phone ? or can I download them directly into my SD card? I'm sorry but I'm really new to android and dont want to take any risks in breaking my device. thanks i advance.
anyone ? just point me towards the thread and ill read it myself. thanks
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1213888
I suggest start here..
download the themes, extract, copy to sdcard, then install the apks
hope this helps
Look around or use the search function, dude.
It's not hard to find articles like that and wait before posting again.
I dont get it, I'm reading some of the guides here to install themes and they sounds complicated with replacing files and setting permissions. On the other hand, I browsed the web out of this forum and found out that I can simply install ADW Launcher and download themes very easily that way. What are the differences between these 2 methods ?
Replacing makes it inbuilt while awd launcher overwrites i.e. It's above default inbuilt theme. For the first method, you need to root your phone and need a root explorer.
Feel free to write if you are not aware .
Press thanks

hindi language for htc wildfire S

htc wildfire S does so box when received a mesaage for hindi...
creater can any one create a file whch can support hindi language..
plss ....
i m waiting for some god
I am no god, but I can answer your question.
Android does not presently support complex unicode fonts like Hindi and Khmer. If you root your phone, you can push a unicode font to /system/fonts but it still won't display perfectly because Android can't handle the complex script. It takes a developer to modify the kernel of the device to handle complex scripts.
Hope that helps.
I have rooted but I dunno how to have install complex unique script which u t saying ......
So can u give me that app and procedure..to do the process
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using XDA App premium
I have done it for my Dinc2 and have installed the fonts in my Wildfire S as well. Once you are rooted then find and download two fonts (DroidHindi.ttf) and DroidSansFallback.ttf.
Get a program like ES File Explorer. Copy these fonts in the /system/font directory. You will have to enable Check Root Explorer, and Mount File System. The latter will overwrite the default font (allow it).
Only the matra's and sandhi's appear a bit odd, but perfectly readable.

I'm no god. I have it on my Phone.
Just download the file from here:
http://ft.dtupload.com/U1Vr/Hindi_And_Marathi_Fonts.zip
You will find two fonts:
1. DroidHindi
2. DroidSansFallback
Place droidhindi in the system/app folder. Take a backup of the ORIGINAL SansFallback in that folder. Then paste this one there. I recommend using ES File Explorer or Root Explorer (Paid).
If anything goes wrong, just replace the original back.
Then download AnySoftKeyboard from the Market (Free)
Once done, download devanagari font for anysoft from the Market.
Thats all.
Restart and enjoy it on your phone.
Hope this helped and please click thanks if it did!

ok ive had a look around, and i think ive came up with a possible solution for you. but im not 100% sure. should you feel willing to try this, do a nandroid back up first!
then follow this guide and i think it will install mulitple new language fonts onto your phone. http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-t...-unsupported-language-fonts-to-android-phone/
This is about to change system fonts if you want differents fonts you must change the name of the fonts to the original file name of android to make it work but thats not the problem. i wanna put in the values-nl into framework-res.apk.
I have manage with apkedit to put values-nl into com.htc.resources.apk but is doesn't work with framework-res.apk.
sorry buddy. fresh out of ideas....
i have tryed framework-flasher now it will boot but many errors shows-up.
please can anyone put in the nl file for me i'm very tired with this file.
