I had to move it back and forth from the memory card a few times to get it to work
Why am I not seeing it in my market? I've searched and went to the games just in? I live in chicago, what time did it drop where you live?

Looks heavily overhyped.. Played many games which seem almost exactly the same on flash before.. Anything special about this one (didn't seem to be from the preview)
I had issues installing via market but worked via the AppBrain

Installed it just now, works amazingly, IMO it works better than the iPhone/iPod Touch version. The graphics are crisp and stunning on the SGS's screen, the game is fast and doesn't lag at all, it lags on my iPod Touch at times. Overall much more enjoyable on a 4 inch SUPER AMOLED screen
Can't wait till the full version is out, looks promising at the moment.
Oh and to the people who can't find it, get Eris Market Fix from the Market and apply it, reboot your SGS and it should be there.

I'm struggling to install this on my galaxy...i can download from the market, but it refuses to install.
I tried to pm install the file from a folder on my sdcard, but see this:

I'm using a lag fix, and wonder if this is contributing to the issue.

I just got an S2 yesterday and have tried N64oid with Wave Race and there are some slowdowns with sound and frame rate along with a lot of graphical glitches.
I saw an Infuse run this just fine. Any suggestions?
I think this is nothing to do with the phone, but more to do with the emulator.
The author took it off the market to fix some problems with it. Hopefully it will come back more smoother, faster and compatible.
thats not true, the developer was forcefully removed, however he along with many other developers who have been forcefully removed have moved over to "Slide ME" app market, a 3rd party market, which is becoming a very awesome place. he has made n64oid, along with all of his other removed emulators (nes, snes, atari, sega, gameboy, gameboy advance) and made them all free, so be sure to check it out

For Mario Kart use Sensor as Analog stick, and have Controls layout to "Top + Bottom"
this allows you to steer by moving the phone and gives you the Z (fire button) on the left, and A+B (accel, break) on the right.

How much have you played? I'm still inside the Deku tree and it's crashed maybe 3-4 times total It only seems to happen upon loading new areas, and it's completely random at that. Not an issue if you save very often. Majora's Mask is damn near unplayable though.
But damn, does the phone get hot! Far worse than FPse for example.
What's the changelog for the updated n64oid from slideme since the last update from the emulator nazi (android market) I haven't noticed any improvements I paid 6 dollars for the app

Yeah we are still waiting for the big update, the mov to slideme was in preparation for the release of the next version apparently
I hope it's coming soon. If the game compatibility becomes that much better I'd definitely buy it if he puts a price on it.

Personally I still am fine with my six dollars going to yongzh and am sad that his expertise in emualtors is now unwelcomed by google on its market. And my 4 dollars for his gba emulator too I hope he distributes his new n64oid release via email first to all that paid for it and then publish to slideme.

Well I don't think El Goog care about his expertise when they get a request to remove apps from the market. n64oid was removed due to a lot of the code being taken from mupen64 and them filing a request. That PSX emulator was taken down because it was breaching trademark.
Don't want to sound like a ****, but good riddance to be honest. If you are gonna use other peoples code, at least credit them.
Checkout N64oid v2.0.1 is released.

N64oid appears according to commenters to be a crapshoot.It might work like a charm or might crash everytime.Yongzh hasn't shown a lot of haste to update his software in the marketplace so until he fixes most of the glitches and crashes I'd keep my 4$ in my pocket.Already paid once for half baked buggy software, 4$ is a good eats.
His pages on Slideeme now appear to give full credit(and maybe %) to the original coders.Step up I say.
As we all know this phone has a issue with some games. I thought it would be useful to list the games that did and did not work for you. I'll start.
Working games:
Game developer story: Sound cuts out from time to time but have not had a crash with any of their games.
Myth Defense: Works with sound off. No need to change the graphics.
Muffin Knight: Works most of the time but I read reports of it crashing.
Non working games:
Dungeon Defenders: Large mobs crash it. And something about the mob coming from the left if your facing the crystals. He has his own door. Whenever I attack him the game crashes. Coding glitch maybe?
G5 stand O food 3: Crashes randomly. I doubt any G5 games will work for us.
Other notes:
I've been e-mailing developers asking them to give us a option to turn off sound instead of turning the sound down.

Madden doesnt work
Plants vs. Zombies worked for about 2 levels then just crashed out of no where.
Stupid Zombies would load and give a black screen. (got it to work went through a few lvls and it seamed fine. it does have openfeint and it stalled it seamed on that. force closed the first time opened it again and I was able to get past it and actually play the game.)
Tap Sonic closes on some songs during game play.

I can't find a working version of 9mm for our phones yet...
Dead Space works with Qualcomm driver. Samurai ii works with nvidia driver as does sprinkle with latest chainfire update.

Good idea! I have a bunch of games installed on my A100, so I'll return later with some more details. But off the top of my head: All three regular Angry Bird games. As well as Angry Bird HD and Angry Bird Seasons HD. As well as the Tegra Specific titles that you can find in the Tegra app on the A100: Samurai 2 THD, Galaxy on Fire THD and Pinball THD.
You want some specific version numbers?
BTW: If there's a specific game you were wondering about regarding compatibility with the A100, a good start is market.android.com... You can see which one of your Android devices a game is compatible with on the www-market. Too bad they don't have that feature on the regular market app.
Sometimes a game will be compatible even though it's not featured there though, so its more of a rule of thumb...
I installed the sixaxis controller app to use my PS3 controller to play emulator games. I am loving it.
Has anyone tried "9mm HD". It doesn't work on the a100. I wonder what requirement it needs. It works on my phone.

Has anyone been successful in getting Order and Chaos to rub properly? I have heard of other devices useing a all devices version but I cant seem to locate it anywhere..

You have to modify the build.prop to get O&C to work. The "all devices" hacked version no longer works as of July and another one hasnt been produced since.
To modify the build.prop you'll need to be rooted and have root explorer (or an equiv) and change this: ro.product.model=A100 to this ro.product.model=A500 in the build.prop file under system.
Once you do the above you should be able to find O&C in the market and download it. Works great, the only thing I've found odd are input boxes. Once you type something in a input box you have to minimize the keyboard rather than pressing enter or tab. For example at the login screen put in your login and then minimize the on screen keyboard.
A word of caution about modifying you're build.prop, if you don't know what you are doing you can soft brick your tab! So be careful, just because the above worked for me doesn't mean it'll work for you.
So you can add Order and Chaos and Vendetta Online to the list of games that will run on our wonderful acer tab

Is O'n'Ch still working on A100? I recently bought an A100 in frys and I'm waiting for it to come to Poland. First things first I will root the device, as I would love to play O'n'Ch on 7''. I have also sent email to gameloft about O'n'Ch not supporting the 7'' tablets,but they didn't reply me yet.
Dead space works great for A100, but i ordered this from gamestop so it came pre-installed.
Madden 12 works great! Been playing this for a few hours now.

Same here. I see several games and app not being compatible with this tablet. Kinda sux cause I really wanted to make this tablet my all around device.
Has anyone tried editing their build.prop file to something like a Samsung Nexus? I have a Nook Color, and I'm constantly tweaking the build.prop with Root Explorer to get apps to show up and install properly. I'd try it right now, but I'm at work.

Change this:
ro.product.model=A100
to this:
ro.product.model=A500
Be sure to put the system directory in read/write mode before trying to change anything in there. Oh and becareful changing things.. you can easily brick your device!
doing the above edit to you're build.prop will make most apps, and the system settings think you're device is a a500 which will let you run more stuff. I've had mine set like this for a while now with no issues and games run great, especially order and chaos and even 9mm.

I hate starting a thread for a beta but I wanted to get people to join in. Its in the playstore so join in. I've been playing the closed beta for a couple weeks and the graphics and gameplay are great. Help out madfinger and play and report bugs. Go into options to change your character and add weapons. If you're interested leave your ID name here and we could try to organize times to play.

I just got done playing a round.. Holy heck.. I never thought a Online FPS could ever come close to looking and performing as good as a PC game.. Absolutely amazing graphics and fun gameplay.

Restart the game reset the control to defaults and redo the controls that fixed it for me, usually happens just the first time.
Great graphics, good gameplay. Can't wait to see what next year's Nexus tablet will be bring to the table,....PS Vita you gonna get whooped!
GAH was 31 - 8 kicking ass in Deathmatch.. and it froze on me -_- darn betas
