Like the subject says, lets see those Epic 4G Touch Cases!
Anyone picking up their phone in a Sprint store keep an eye out for the black carbon fiber looking one with the kickstand in the middle, made by Technocel.
I unloaded a few dozen of those today and they're pretty damn sexy. I'll post a pic tomorrow morning if I get the chance.

It should be. Some indirects have different return policies on open accessories but if it was a corporate store they would take it back. If nothing else you'll get store credit.
As for that kickstands case, try local stores, they'll probably have it. I know we got 36 of 'em.

TPU cases are very good at good price. $10 with a screen protector to boot. I have a similar one one my Bionic and it does the job nicely! I will prolly order this one if LetsTalk ever sends my SII.

I like carry my phone on my hip...so hopefully Samsung will put out a leather carrier big enough for E4T.
I may hold out for a Barely There case...
I'm hoping this gets adapted to the Sprint version soon:

Not only is it thin, but that brushed aluminum adds a classy look that just might actually look upscale.

I bought the kickstand case today from sprint. I didn't get a chance to try it out yet. My phone is in the mail.. question.. does your kickstand flap loosly once you flip it open, does it click into place once open? Mine feels loose but it stand up fine.. also do you feel like it will scratch your phone..?

The kickstands stays loose but it works well. I was also wondering if something is going to get between the case and the phone and scratch it but only time will tell. I like it so far though, its a good fit and keeps it slim.

What kind of material is touching the phone? Is it the black color one? Is the black much softer (like silicone) Does the white hard material ever touch the phone? Reason I ask is I've found the hard plastic cases will scratch a phone if a little dust gets in there but if they have a soft lining of silicone it's OK.

I remember a problem on the old casemates was the rubber part that extends up the sides would go floppy and start to pull away from the phone (since it has no real support to keep it tight). Did they fix that? Do you have/know of a pic of the inside of the case without the phone? I didn't see one in your other thread.
thanks

Good question. I'm hunting for cases this weekend, and this is at the top of my list. I'll post here if I see the POP! anywhere.
I've had mine for a few days now. The case itself is great, but the kickstand is basically flimsy plastic and I'm very unimpressed with it. Given that the kickstand was the primary reason for my getting it, I expect to switch to the Seidio Active case when it is available, given that it will have a metal kickstand. I can't emphasize enough how flimsy the Pop! kickstand feels.
this is the top of my list also followed by otterbox commuter.
As someone who used the kickstand on my Evo OG a lot, I must have a case that includes a kickstand. Does anyone have any particular recommendations? I have used Seidio car mounts in the past, and they were very high quality and durable, but a bit on the heavy side (trade-off for durable I guess).
Anyway, I see two cases I'm interested in.

Oh man, I am so used to ordering everything from Amazon (or others) that I didn't even consider going to a store to get a case. I guess I was thinking that since the stores don't have the phones yet, they wouldn't have the accessories. Stupid thought process on my part. I'll have to go to a local store and see if I can find the case-mate.

I had it on my epic touch for a few weeks (before I quickly got rid of it) and it never felt like it was getting loose. It uses the 3m double sided tape, the same tape on the wall hooks that 3m makes that are rated to hold 5 lbs.
Another thing I like is that it lifts the phone speaker of the surface more so it doesn't dampen the ringer. That is partially annoying cause it doesn't lay flat on a surface if your using your phone laying down, but isn't a huge deal.

Guys, looking for something below with kickstand. I see some good options in this thread but they all make the phone pretty thick.
So far, I have been using
for my captivate
I was able to get this from a friend because he doesn't like pouch style protection so he has given it to me.
I personally love pouch-style over cases so in my opinion, this fits well and is great. Only thing is that I rather have a fabric like the one that came with the G1 over this leather feel. Amazon seems to sell them for 29.99. I can't post links so please search for
SPIGEN SGP Leather Pouch Crumena for Samsung Galaxy SIII, S3 for Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile, AT&T and other Carriers [Black]
comes in three different color variants. fits my phone perfectly.
Well reply to this and you'll get your 10th post and ability to post links.
I've ordered this pouch, and was wondering if there's enough room for an S3 with a "sleeve" case like Rock or the Diztronic one to fit into it?
Thanks

No, the sleeve from SPG is tight enough where if you held the pouch with phone upside down, it won't slip out. Thats with the naked device.

the vendor I get fromis every_sell
i have been getting pouches from them for almost every phone i've had.....I can't find a difference at all...
I once bought a pouch for them and was about to give them a negative review because they state OEM....i emailed them saying I was going to give a neg review due to them stating OEM.
They told me that htc actually contracted with who they get the cases from to make it for the g1...so all they do is redesign it for the new phones with the same material and build quality, hence stating OEM
i would have given them a negative review it was cheap and flimsey...but It isn't....it is a little deceiving they state OEM when it isn't, but the build quality doesn't suffer, so i dont mind.....if it did, i would have given them negative reviews
thanks for that link, i'll def look into that in the future! like those G1 style cases the most.

Hey question for you guys who own this case. I've been reading up on reviews for the crumena (mainly on amazon) and there has been some complaints about the case actually scratching up the phone. The scratches are mainly on the side and more specifically the back of the phone mainly due to the ribbon.
Are you guys experiencing the same problem??
christian, I didn't even get a days use out of the case. After fighting with it to get my S3 to go inside of the pouch, I ended up having to use a razor blade to remove the stitching as the S3 was stuck inside of it. I was reimbursed by SGP.
So after going to my local ATT corp store and seeing this case it looked pretty interesting. Do they only make cases for the iPhone? Tried doing some research and found nothing! Only iPhone cases.
Iphone and Ipad only. I would definitely be in for one for the s3 if the decided to make it though.

Thanks for posting that link. I have wasted lots of $$$ on screen protectors because I never liked how I applied them. No matter what I do, i get dust/bubbles, and all sorts of other issues. That roll-on screen protector is going to save me so much money and pain/anger.
If you have a hard time with screen protectors you should go check out ghost-armor.com . I have my phone wrapped in clear with a second layer of white carbon fiber, they will do the whole installation for you and they even covered my flygrip in white carbon fiber as well

Otterbox is coming out with a similar case called the Armor. Its been announced for the iPhone, but if anybody would build a non-apple version it would probably be them. I would consider asking them.

Doubtful, Otterbox has their collective head so far up apples ass that it's not even funny. They couldn't even produce a case for the S3 release even though this phone has sold millions already.
I emailed Otterbox earlier to ask them about the Armor case. They don't have plans to make it for any other phones... iPhone only.

I would jump right on that as well. They did have a post on their site a few months back that they were working on coming out with cases for Samsung phones. It would seem that the s3 should be at the top of the list when they do.
It would be nice to have for kayaking and snowboarding, nice for listening to music in the shower too!
I bought the otterbox commuter with an hd invisishield and loved it. Then upgraded to the defender and while I like the defenders premise.. I hate that I get dust under the screen cover through the miniscule opening at the top where the front facing camera and ear speaker is. I may go back to the commuter and hd screen.

I'm trying to keep this updated with people's submissions, thanks for your help.
i've been looking as well but seems most of the cases available are for the at&t version.
Hopefully once the phone is actually released there will be more options
I will post pictures up as soon as it comes in. This will most likely not be my permanent case, but it will do until more options arrive.

I'm looking for a TPU case to become available.
Cruzerlite added an lg section in their cases section that wasn't there a few days ago. They make some nice cases (and i have a 20 coupon there...). http://www.cruzerlite.com/cases/lg
Otter just added a section for the phone. Only the commuter case for now at 34.95. Should be available relatively soon. I'm hoping they have it at Sprint on Sunday. They had the EVO 3d Commuter case ready on release day. At first I didn't like the look of the Commuter series, but having dropped my EVO 3D several times, some quite hard, with only one small scratch on the edge, I quite like them now.

They don't? Huh I thought they did, well the last time I bought a case there, it cost 30 bucks (only bought it because i didn't know any better). There are much better deals online.

Anyone know the difference between these two screen protectors?

I went to the Sprint store today and got the Otterbox commuter case. It's great quality as usual with Otterbox's. I got it for like $28 because of a 20 percent discount I guess since I'm a Sprint preferred customer which was a nice surprise.

The ultra crystal is basically a clear screen protector and the oleophobic protector is an anti-oil screen protector.

Which case was this so we know not to buy it
Just got my Otterbox, it feels much more secure now, but it still slides on smooth surfaces, next case will have a rubberized back so I can avoid this.

I was happy to see they did have the commuter case when I picked mine up yesterday. It's a rather nice case. The screen protector covers the entire face minus the camera, and top sensor. It's a much better fit than the commuter case for the EVO 3D commuter case. The ridges on both sides of the phone make gripping it very easy.
the local sprint store here does not have any cases at all. really need to get that otterbox
Body Glove Case
I just found a Body Glove Case on Daydeal.com. I can't post the link because I have too few posts (long time lurker here and at PPCGeeks for my old phone). Just search for product ID 75477.
I've never had one of their cases before. How do they hold up compared to something like an OtterBox?
