my "shipping" status updated at 10:30am pacific standard this morning... I really hope they ship these by tomorrow.. will be kinda annoying thinking I coulda just walked into the Sprint store or Radio Shack and picked it up.. and I'm eligible for the service credit of $125 so in the end I'd get it for considerably cheaper.. only reason I don't cancel is none of the stores.. even the Sprint store in my area doesn't know for sure if they will have them Friday.. and if they do maybe they will get just a few.....

Mine has been that way all day today but they still will not ship them till friday.It will stay the way it is listed right now till friday when they ship.If you ordered late it could change from shipped to backorder.
But even though ours says shipping it won't ship before friday with a Monday delivery.

It's likely correct that they wont ship till Friday .. unfortunately. Does kinda suck.. and not sure why they do it.. if I order a game from gamestop.. it's usually shipped the day or 2 days before release date so I receive it on "release day"
Hope the Walmart/LetsTalk order ship early too.

call customer service that's what i went through to get mine and it comes in like 1-2 days
I tried customer service and they said they were sold out as well. I called around to the local Verizon stores and on the second store they had one even though the first store checked and said no one did. That would be your best bet on finding one.
Really happy I jumped on the battery *****ing bandwagon and got mine for free

I was watching the VZW extended battery page for the better part of 3 weeks every morning noon and night. They had them in last monday and I jumped on it and bought one. Free 2 day shipping and got it with my employer discount. It's nice.
Had it on wireless tether (last day), from roughly 1pm to 9pm. phone just died a few minutes ago. now im charging it before work tomorrow. Definitely makes a difference.

So my dilemma started last Thursday, the night prior to the release.. I placed my preorders through both Wirefly and Letstalk only to have them get cancelled by Friday morning (tried one and got it cancelled within a couple hours). Since my contract is only a year in since I bought my Evo, I wouldn't be able to upgrade til May '12, so they cancelled my new line priced order.
Anyways, I decided I would just pay the full price (plus my $75 upgrade discount) from Sprint's website. I didn't really think about it, but after I ordered, I checked out eBay and realized the price came out to be the same for a new epic 4g touch WITHOUT contract. Well I decided to bid on the auction and I won, but the phone was purchased through AmazonWireless (the guy preordered it Thursday and was suppose to get it Monday) and it is backordered (says 8-9 days).
The phone I ordered from Sprint arrives sometime today and I was curious if I would be able to send the eBay one to Sprint instead when I receive it and just keep and activate the Sprint one? Mainly because I want to use the phone ASAP! And not sure how long Amazon is actually going to be on backorder for. Would this work? Or is each phone ID unique when Sprint sends out the phone?
If it is, I guess I'll have to hold off another week or so til I get the Amazon one..
My guess is Sprint will want the phone they sent you if you are going to return it. There are unique numbers for each device.
If you send the wrong one back they will know and charge you the price of the phone.

Sprint will keep your Ebay phone and still charge you for the phone sent by Sprint.

The DEC/HEX numbers on the back are unique got to send the right one back. I work for Sprint at a indirect dealer just hit me up next time haha.

Too late! I've already called fedex and had them re-route the delivery to my sons place.
And in case anyone else is thinking of doing the same, I had them add a special code that is required before discussing the shipment with anyone.

My work hours are 14 hour shifts and store will be closed by the time I get off. I work Fri Sat Sun LOL will be Monday when Im off again.
If I do over night shipping I can have it on my door step saturday if im lucky or Monday morning.

Already placed my order online.
It doesn't show up on the main page, you have to log into your account, choose to upgrade or add a line and it will magically appear.
Chose the expedite shipping for $24.95 cause I can't wait, ETA is 4/14.:good::good:

My store opened at 8 am and I was 4th in line, everyone was getting a Galaxy S5. While I was waiting for my turn I was playing with the S5 demo to see I'll change my mind in the last second...No thanks...I'll take the M8, which they only had 5 in stock.

I can confirm that WeakSauce does not work on this device because we don't have /system/lib/libdm-systemaccess.so on our devices.
That's okay, because HTC Dev will generate a bootloader unlock code for the device, so you can unlock the bootloader and root that way.

There is tons of review now and no one is trashing the phone. Personaly it's S7E on steroids... And when you by it with a contract it's not so big of a difference at my country... just 50 EUR

B) It's amazing. Granted, my fastest phone previously was an HTC One Max, but this is just a massive upgrade in every way. I'm still going through the nitty gritty of setting it up, but I'm mainly done, and it's just... fluid.

Power saving modes? Yes, it's right there in Quick Settings.
Note7 has been shipped (Sprint) so now I'm constantly checking my tracking number. Waiting sucks lol
