[Q]Can Vibrant fit into a Galaxy S I9000 case?

I've found a really cute and light case on eBay but it's labelled as a I9000 case. Will it work with Vibrant?

It should fit, the vibrant is pretty much the same size as the i9000

yes, everyone seems to say they are about the same size, but i have a replacement battery door and several cases marked for the i-9000 and they work perfectly including button, camera, and speaker cutouts...if i didnt know any better, any accessory for the i9000 will fit the t959. obviously except for ones that handle the front...because...you know...the different buttons
if you look closely at the bottom of the battery cover on the inside, it even says "i-9000"
this is a nice bonus since the i-9000 is everywhere...the other US variants dont get as much attention

Probably not. Those hard shell cases are usually a tight fit anyway. You can however use the standard battery cover with the extended battery (although a tight fit) it will make some cases fit better but you normally will still have a gap at the bottom (small).
You can also run without a back battery cover. This typically will allow most standard cases to fit perfectly. So you have some options, but I doubt it will work with the extended battery + extended door.

It will work without the back cover, I think I read that on one of the reviews for the case on VZ's site.

looking for flip cover for s3 with extented battery kit

im going to buy the Anker 4400mAH battery kit for my white s3 as the stock battery only last for a day for me.
Currently i have this flip cover on my phone.

[Q] Genuine Samsung Extended Battery Kit for Galaxy S3 Question

I have a question about this Official Extended battery.

Will it work on an AT&T Galaxy S3 or is it made for unlocked/overseas versions?
Also, if it does work on my phone what good protection cases are out there that will fit my phone after this is used?

Yes it works on the all north american galaxy S3 phones, I have one.
One thing you should know is that if you take the extended battery cover off and on alot, it develops small cracks in the corners and you can't buy replacement covers, harmless but annoying

Hi there, I`m looking for a plastic or silicon case / bumper for my S3 with an original extended battery.
I´ve already searched on Google but I only get results for extended batteries. I just don`t know the right words do find what I´m looking for.
The case should look something like this .
Or maybe you can point out a thread to me where I can find different cases. That would be great.

this is not the case Galaxy S3

Thanks ESTATE2008, but that is not what I had in mind.
Also I think this would only fit a phone with standard battery and not one with extended battery.
My problem is that the S3 with original extended (3000mAh) is a bit thicker than the standard version. So my old Flipcase and bumper don`t fit anymore...

what problem...? ebay - search - "galaxy s3 extended tpu"

Thanks, but that doesn`t help at all.
With that search I only get third party extended cases with third party batteries.
