Does anyone know of a decent app for using to send/receive sms messages via my PC - happy to do it over USB. Preferably with the messages also being stored on the phone.

Check the app MyPhoneExplorer. Install an executable in PC (google the name) and also install the Android client app in by the same name in the android market. Connect and send/receive sms from PC

My wife got some contact by bluetooth in vcard format.
When we open the files they go directly into the phone database instead of google account
Is there a way to define the behavior ? It's a non rooted device!!!

Can you guys receive flv (video format) data from computer via Bluetooth? I couldn't. It also happen with file exe format. It says like my Gal W cannot handle those files. But when I send it to my Nokia from my laptop, those data can be sent. In other case, when I send those files (flv file) from Nokia to Gal W, it can be received. I'm using windows 8 on my laptop, so can you guys try that in other OS?
Hello, got GT-I8160 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 XXMG2 firmware, rooted. At the very beginning, I did a stupid thing. While doing cleanup from Samsung bloatware, I deleted some Samsung Bluetooth files.
Now, even though I can turn the Bluetooth on and scan for devices - I can NOT send photos from gallery for example, because the option is missing. So I virtually am unable to send any files via Bluetooth.
Is there any possibility to recover the deleted file, or install it again ? Or do I need to make a factory reset ?

Maybe its best way to flash firmware again.
You can try send your file using file manager
hello please help. i am unable to transfer (send/receive) files on find 7a (previously on jellybean now on kitkat) through wifi direct. my device gets paired with others but files didnt transfer and when i send filesto other devices it didnt passed there. what is the issue???
