Hey guys,
Have ever tried to listen to music from ur Desire to Laptop speaker? Or use ur laptop speaker as a speaker phone/mic for Desire?
I have tried and failed many times. Do I need specific driver for that?
Thanks

Hi folks.
Having a problem trying to listen to music on my PC speakers from my phone over bluetooth (Basically using my PC as bluetooth headphones).
I HAD an app that did it perfectly but my hard drive got borked and I lost the program and cant remember what it was called.
The bundled software (bluesoleil 3.0) with my BT dongle wont use this function with my HD (though it does with my SE W910i for some reason...)
Any pointers would be great
Hello all, this is my first post after a long time viewing this great forum.
I was wondering, could the HTC Desire be turned into a wireless audio receiver with A2DP? My stereo bluetooth headset died recently, and I got used to watching movies on the PC while using them as headphones. So I was wondering if it was possible to turn the phone into a receiver in the same manner.
If it's not possible, is it a hardware limitation?
Thanks.
+1 for this thread,
-Even i was looking for same app ,so that i can connect my desire to my laptop using bluetooth and use it as a wireless head phone.
-I lost my head phone too, I have Desire's hands free , i was wondering if i could use it as a head set..for my pc through bluetooth..!!

I've tried searching for any input on this subject, but I couldn't find any real info about it.
We know the Desire can transmit stereo over A2DP, and can receive mono when you are talking with a BT device. But does this indicate the ability to receive stereo over A2DP? I hope there is no hardware limitation for that.
If it is possible, I guess an application would act like an A2DP device, so that the BT software on the PC would recognize it as such. I'm really hoping to see such a feature, or at least to know if it's possible.
Hello, i have been using Samsung Omnia, and last week i "updated" to htc Desire and Android...
The question is: i had a very useful Samsung sbh 500 headset with bluetooth... By i have tried all the ways but i cant make it work on my desire... In theory its an a2dp bluetooth headset...should be compatible...i dont know perhaps someone has to write a special driver/module...
Any help would be apreciated
Thanks in advance
nobody ???
Up
what will it not do? pair?
Yes... desire recognises mi pc, but it cant detect the bluetooth headset...cant detect it, so i cant pair... and the headset are on and bluetooth is activated.... Perhaps i need a driver to use them, i dont know....
Any help would be apreciated
Thanks again
Have you tried unpairing/dissociationing the headset from any other previous devices?
Thanks for your help 3722
I think so.. because the other phone is off. I also deleted the samsung sbh headphones from the bluetooth devices on the other phone ( just in case).
Ive tried to pair it a lot of times, and im 10 cm from the phone ( there isnt any interference or obstacle...)... I dont know....
Any ideas ??
I doubt that it's some kind of driver issue, are you sure your desire is discoverable when you are trying to pair it?
Can you pair any other a2dp headset to the phone, if you can't then probably your rom has messed up, you can either do a hard reset or flash another one.
The rom is the original one.. with all the updates till today.. with froyo.
Yes i put the option visible on.
No, i havent tried with other headset as i dont have any other...I think ( not sure), that i other forums that desire or android give some problems with a2dp headsets.. perhaps i need a module or perhaps the code is not mature enough..
Thanks again 3722
i had a problem with my last sony erricson bluetooth headset - i think because i'd paired it to a phone, laptop and another phone it kind of gave up.
it refused completely to be discoverable to anything anymore... maybe its a similar thing?
I connect my htc wildfire to my laptop running windows 7 for use as a headset. However when someone rings me my phone will ring once and pick up the call automatically. Is there anyway to stop this?
Is Windows 7 running software for your phone?
If not, check on your phone if there is a setting.

Just connect wildfire to pc via bluetooth and make sure the bluetooth adapter in your pc supports a2dp then it will work no extra software needed. However my PC picks up calls automatically which i don't know how to stop
I wish I could have this one solved too, it is vital for me to use my laptop headset to answer my phone, as I already use it to answer skype and other IP phones, but the auto answer thing is a KILLLLER
