Ok so I have had this problem that keeps occuring. When I go into the Android Market and look under "my apps" there is a white screen and nothing shows up. I have posted about this issue before and someone recommended going under settings, then manage apps, the find market app, then hit "clear data".
I did that the first time a week ago and problem solved. Well the same issue came back last night. I am using MikG 2.5 with the stock kernal and no added themes. If you know what the solution is please let me know.
Thanks

I would clear the data again and also wipe your android.secure folder.
[This will delete your sdcard moved apps, with the traditional app moving, not sd-ext]
Especially if the clearing of data helped before, it seems like that is the best place to start.
So I wont lose anything significant if I delete the android.secure folder?
Do I just leterally go into my file explorer, find the folder and delete it?

Wipe it via recovery.
Any apps that are "moved to sd" will have to be restored.
I use RA so where can I find that folder in there?

Can someone tell me how go put all my apps somewhere whenever I flash a new rom? I always have to download everything again-_- and also my gmail contacts aren't saved from where they were saved on previous roms..any help? Thanks

Titanium Backup does this. You can backup/restore apps & settings. Also, you can extract the .apk files and copy them to your sd card.

I'll second the Titanium Backup recommendation, makes it easy to get your apps back where they were after your flash a new ROM or wipe. It's a must have app for any Android phone IMO and is good enough to be a sole reason for rooting (I rooted my mom's OG Droid just so she could use TB)
Is there a auto install for titanium? Instead if running batch and clicking install for every app?

The paid version doesn't require you to click install for every app (it's a true batch operation).
Do i need the premium key??

I was previously on Vaelpak Rom then noticed my market wouldnt let me download apps nor would it allow me to update apps. I nandroid recovered to a previous and still the same problem. Then I complete wiped the phone and flashed myns warm 5 (like the transparent customizations ) and I still cannot download from the market. I even tried to download before and after a titanium backup restore and still wont work. The Market allows me to search for an app, select "FREE", but when I select "OK", it just highlights as if its about to download but NOTHING happens. Any ideas? Reformat card possibly?
Have you tried clearing the cache for it, force stop, then re-open it?
Have you tried moving all your apps to your phone and deleting the android_secure folder on your SD card yet? Sometimes that folder will get corrupted when switching roms and it will do that. Move all your apps, delete that folder. Then reboot. Then try to download from the market. (Don't worry it will create that folder itself again.) Then you can move your apps back to the SD card. Good luck.

I'm sure a combination of both of your idea would have worked. I formatted my sd card and that did the trick so thanks both of you...

I just noticed that this game is now available for us. By when I retro download it in the market it won't download. It starts then quites(as do some other apps for some reason.) Is there another place or way I can download the game??
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
you said other apps, do all apps not download? I ask this because a few weeks back my market wouldnt download any apps and I had to wipe everything and reflash. Turns out it was an app causing the problem when I used titanium backup to restore apps. Just a thought if that is your problem. Oh and to answer your main question, if its not what I previously mentioned then I suppose you could check androidzoom or app brain, I think they do stuff with apps. Last resort, check 4shared.com

I say its about 90% of apps I try to download. Mainly it seems to be the ones I want, but if I pick any random app it'll download.

You can try clearing your market cache, force stop it, the try again; or the above listed methods.
Probably going to have to move all your apps over to your phone and delete the android_secure folder. Then reboot and give it a try. Sounds like that folder got corrupted. Pretty common occurrence.

Nope won't erase anything. Once you delete that folder (while nothing is in there)you will be good after reboot. It won't erase anything and it will create a new one once you start downloading again. Give me a few minutes and ill send ya the link
Here ya go. This will explain it all. I've had to do it 3-4 times with all the flashing I've done. This is the "more permanent fix" http://forum.androidcentral.com/gen...not-downloading-installing-image-warning.html

Followed step by step and I get "error deleting files". I'm using the free version of Astro to delete it because ES File Explorer doesn't even show the folder.

Not sure why es wouldn't be showing it under SD card files. Have you checked into maybe getting astro pro, or root explorer? If not, sure you could use adb to erase it.

Dang that sucks. Make sure you clear the data for the market and once one starts downloading, cancel it. Then try again right after you cancel it.
This probably won't help you any but just a heads up, you'll probably have a ton of download#.apk files in /sdcard/downloads

That game is way too addicting.
You could try using App Brain & Fast Web Installer to download apps. It actually works better/faster for me than downloading from the market. If you need the apks for those apps I can post them for you.
My media files on the external card are showing up twice. However, only one of each file actually works. The doubled music files don't play and the doubled pictures don't show anything.
I'm running infamous ics rom with venom kernel. I've searched and seen a couple comments on this but no solution. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

I get this issue every now and then
Try this, it works for me
Go to
/data/data
Find and delete folder
com.android.providers.media
(don't worry it will recreate itself when you reboot)
Reboot.
good luck

Hello forum, I just joined today mainly for the issue I'm going through right now. I have a Motorola Triumph from Virgin Mobile that runs Froyo 2.2. Lately, I've been getting low storage space notifications and it was driving me nuts. So I went on Playstore and downloaded Data2sd and to be honest, I really didn't know what I was doing. I launched the app, granted the superuser permission, and I created a 300mb partition onto my sd card. Then I selected data on the menu option and started selecting all the movable directories to move into my sd card. Everything seemed fine since I was keep getting the "moving succeeded" message, only until I rebooted my phone. That's where my problem is. I noticed my wallpaper was gone and the android launcher was keep crashing, not letting me do ANYTHING at all. I'm so frustrated and I really dont know what went wrong. Please help! I don't wanna reset my phone because I dont want to lose all of my important contacts! I apologize in advance if this has a simple solution, I'm still kinda a noob at modding android phones. Thanks.

Nevermind, i got it fixed! all i did was somehow manage to open my browser and download home++ beta launcher. Through that, i was able to back up my contacts and whatever I needed, and did a factory reset. That fixed the problem! now I've found a better app than data2sd and that is links2sd. That works like a charm thanks for taking your time to help
