What HBOOT you installed and which ROM exactly you're trying to install.
Also have you done Full Wipe/Factory reset and caches wipe before flashing ROM?
Is your SD partitioned correctly as said in ROM requirements?
ROM: LeeDrOiD V3.0.8.2 GB Data++
HBOOT: Bravo Oxygen r2
yes, i did full wipe and factory reset

Leedroid Data++ wont fit in Oxygen hboot. That is your problem. You need the Data++ Hboot if you want to use teh Data++ ROM.
i actually downloaded the data++, but when you download it its the oxygen file.
btw according to leedroid site it is need 90M system.
anyway, i download the zip file instead and the img inside the archive was indeed data++. after reflashing and reinstall the rom, i can happily say 10x it worked!

Hi people!!
I ask you for some help, because I want to update mi Desire with AurazTSense 7.4 to CM7 RC2 FULL18.
I've read about s-off in order to flash this rom, but if I now I have a custom, so I think that I already have securuty Off, no?
I need to update HBOOT for CM7? And last, I've done a HardReset, enter CWM, and intall CM7 and when rebooted, it showed cm7 splash, but here for 15 minutes...and no change, what I've made incorrectly?
Thanks you all!
To change to CM7 RC2 you don't need to change hboot. It isn't necessary to do it. No you don't have S-Off unless you ran AlphaRev's utility which you prob didn't. When you flash the rom, make sure you dofull wipe, data/factory reset, cache and dalvik cache then reflash it. Should be ok then.
I have rooted my phone for a week now, flashed AuraxTSense 8.4
Want a gingersense rom so could choose between AceS(coolexe) and Insertcoin(Baadnewz), tried both but it's stuck at the htc boot logo, however if i flash AuraxTSense again it does work.
Does this have to do with radio or anything
Bravo PVT4 Ship s-on
HBOOT-0.93.0001
Radio-5.09.05.30_2
are you not wiping user data, cache and davlik cache before flashing the new rom?
you may need S-Off for certain ROMs
| AmonRa 2.0.1 | PVT4 40000 S-Off Alpharev 1.8| HBoot 0.93.1000 | Radio 5.17.05.08 | LeeDroid 3.0.3 (A2SD) | HTC Desire A8181 | UOT Kitchen Mods |
You need to preform a Full wipe (Wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache) - because they are different bases. Also, be sure to check if those ROMs need modifications to the Partition table - Insertcoin (if you talking about DATA++) needs the CM7 Partition table (so you need to S-Off your phone).
I always perform a full wipe/ wipe alluserdata before i flash a rom.
And for Insertcoin i use the a2sd version, not data++
The Cool AceS rom doesn't neccesarily need s-off, it says it very clear.
No other solutions?
btw I use Amon-Ra 2.0.0 recovery if thats maybe the problem.
Just noticed, your Radio. It's old. Update it to the latest one.

If you want to use, AceS port the youn need the one in the thread. (5.17....) http://leedroid.ftp.rshost.eu/Bravo_Addons/Radio_32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08.zip
I just have my device rooted and everything, not that well known in this subject as you, do i have to flash the radio like every .zip i have to flash, and is this risky?
Yes, you flash it from recovery like other .zip files.
And yes it's risky, so always double check the file you have downloaded (size, MD5) to make sure it's not corrupted - or you'll brick your phone.
But the files in the thread I linked are OK.
Ok, thankss, i'll try it just hoping nothing goes wrong(fingers crossed)
Thank you SO MUCH! AceS is working,
Your help meant a lot to me was working 9 hours long yesterday on it, The dutch android forum didn't help me.. got to xda and problem solved
Glad to hear you solved your problem
I flashed my hboot from bravo_alphaspl-cm7.img to bravo_alphaspl-oxygen.img. I used the "Android Flasher utility" after preforming a nandroid backup. I believe I flashed it properly, since I can get into my hboot and it says alpharev oxygen at the top in pink. That being said i cannot boot into either cm7 or oxygen rom. I think i need to reflash alpharev? how would I do that without booting into rom?
[resolved] Guess i didn't wipe my data....
I think the /system partition of the oxygen hboot is to small for the cm7 rom. Usually you should flash hboot on this way:
1.) Make nandroid backup
2.) Flash hboot
3.) Boot into recovery, wipe everything and then restore nandroid-backup

Hi,
I am not new at flashing and modding but got stucked and need some expert help
Here is what I have done:
1. had hboot cm7r2 and Runnymede AIO ROM - Working great but decided to sell Desire
2. Changed HBOOT to Alfarev Sense, partitioned to ext3
3. Installed Leedroid 3.0.8. Sense ROM
4. Rebooted - after that can not go further than boot screen
I repeated procedure few time but still on boot screen
Any ideas ?!
Why don't you try the STOCK partition table because it has a bigger system partition size
Probably the best choice for you would be to restore stock HTC rom.
Just sayin...

did you format all partitions? aligned ext3?
Sounds like you did not wipe cache after changing Hboot and did not wipe anything when changing Rom. If you did that, the Leedroid Rom does not fit into Sense Hboot, so you have to change to Stock Hboot:
Wipe everything, flash hboot (do not forget to reboot bootloader and wipe cache afterwards) and then flash ROM again.

hi
Coming from MildWild CM 3.9, I just tried to flash BCM ICS RC3.1U0 full rom.
Aroma installer asked to switch hboot to data++. So I did (before I had cm7r2).
Then flashing worked succesfully!
After rebooting from 4EXT to try out the newly installed rom I only got Black Screen and no bootup animation. Waited for more than 10minutes but nothing happened.
Has anyone else experienced these issues? Any Ideas why and how to solve?
thanks
also did full wipe and cleared dalvik
Sometimes we need to wait longer after reflashing...

i got the same problem, so i tried to flash RC3.0update0 and it worked. after flashing RC3.0U0, i updated to RC3.1 & everything works fine
ok I'll try
thanks in advance
Download the rom again and try to re-flash; maybe you have a corrupted rom file!

I dont think so, because aroma says everything successfull and there were no errors.
maybe the issue is due to changing hboot. I flashed the pb99img.zip via bootloader. this was also succesful because after that bootloader says hboot data++ (instead of cm7r2 previously). is this enough or do i have to do something else
Have you tried to do a full wipe again using "wipe | format -> format all partitions" and do a fresh install?
Wich option did you set for m2sd?

i switched from cm7r2 hboot to data++, just like you and faced the same problem. but flashing a previous rom-version fixed it.

I wiped before hboot flash. cant remember if I also did after, but I choose the additional erase and format settings in aroma.
I used all the default settings regarding m2sd, launcher etc (didnt choose costumize in aroma)
Can you try to flash the rom using the custom method?
I've installed latest BCM few hours ago with:
Apex
Stock Browser
Play Store
Mount2SD
In M2SD config: Apps, Cache, Ext4, 768
Try this settings and report.
Edit: Use the Readahead for your SD, obiously
