[Q] HTC Analog (Non-Flip) Clocks Available On AOSP ROMS? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone. I usually don't start random unneeded threads, if I've started any at all, but I was wondering if you might be able to help me with something.
Now when you see this title, you may think "Oh my God. Not ANOTHER request for a Sense clock " That would be true, but it's NOT the flip clock I am after: It's the Analog Clocks that are embedded in Sense
I understand some applications from Sense will not work unless it is on a Sense ROM. I was just wondering, if at all possible, if there was a way to extract the clocks from a system file? Possibly install as apks?
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
Note: I have looked on the market, but could not come up with anything that I really liked. When I get a chance, I will upload a screenshot or 2 to let you know what I am looking for.

Something along the lines of this.

hi all
just wandering... ive just upgraded to wm6 but i dont have the big digital clock as seen on most screenshots of wm6 but i would love to have it.....
can some one tell me whats going on?
thanks
Westie277
You'll be needing HTC Home for that
Do a search and you'll get lots of reading and customisations for it.
Smiffy.
ok that didnt really help sorry all i want is the basic big digital clock on the home screen could someong give me the link to it?
How did he not help you, that is what your looking for. WM6 by default doesnt come with a big clock. Its added in later by manufacturer and end user.
Here u go

This is HTC's version if this isnt what you want then use your searching skills, like everyone else
But as lordsmiff has given you good advice you should learn to search first then read before you post, he is valued contributor to this site and is trying to help you become one too. Flashing can be addictive so happy reading and flashing.

You can also try Samsung Clock if you do not need all the functions of HTC Home.

[Q] Wallpaper of Cliff overlooking Blue Sea

I've seen this wallpaper in roms lately and it's been bugging me. It's a top-down view of a blue sea. It has about the same color as the one below. And there's a little bit of the cliff showing at the bottom with a small seagull to the right, I think. I think it's also on Deck's ICS rom, but I'm not sure since I went through about 5 roms today.

If anyone can help, that'd be great!
Unzip those ROMS and look at the wallpapers in them until you find that one
Well....
I flashed Deck's 1.3 Stable and voila it's the wallpaper that's being displayed ....except that I accidentally switched and now I can't find it anywhere. I looked through the galleries and the .zip but I still can't find it.....
If it is the wallpaper that comes with the ROM, then it's in there, trust me. When I get home, I can look for you

Zakynthos
I checked it out on Google Goggles and that beach is an area of Zakynthos. There's a ton of variations of the same image, so I'm not particularly sure which one you might be looking for. If you do an image search for Zakynthos, I'm sure you'll find it.

[Q] How to disable APN status notification? (Sense 3.5)

Hi everyone! I think that question in thread title is pretty clear. I use EQDKP Sense 3.5 (4.1 ver.)
Oh yea, that "internet.lmt.lv" in notification list is like a shortcut to APN list.
It appears just after ROM fresh install, on all sense 3.5 that I tested.

Bump. Best bump ever
I too would like to know. The notification takes up so much space, especially on sense roms where the recent apps are already there
Even a general notification area fix/app would do.
Oh c'mon...anyone ? (BUMP)
Alright, I'm going to have to bump this. Been trying to get rid of the annoying notification as well..
I will TRY and get rid of it.

[HELP] ICS-style gradient background in Gingerbread?

Hello! I'm here with a simple question, and I'm hoping there's a simple answer.
In Android 2.3, the default background for system menus and such is plain black. From Android 4.0 on, this background changed to this greyshade gradient.

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I think the gradient-style background, as shown on the right, is a lot better looking. So my question is, how can I implement this background into my Gingerbread ROM? I know it must be possible, since AChep has done a CM7 theme that uses this background style. Sadly, that theme is for LDPI/MDPI devices only, so I can't use it - but at least it's proof that what I want can be done.
So, how would I go about implementing this gradient background into the ROM I'm currently running? The list dividers as well, while we're at it.
Thanks in advance!
PS: Currently running MildWild-V 4.3, which is an ICS-themed, Oxygen-based AOSP ROM.

Here is an hdpi equivalent:

However, you have to decompile a few apks to port it to oxygen based roms

Just figured I'd share........

What's up guys. I've gotten enough PM's after posting some of my screenies that I think some of you might benefit from a cpl of cool apps I've been messing with.
The first one is called TextIcon CreaterIconPack. It's pretty self explanatory. You can change any icon on your screen to any word u like. It's very customizable too.
The second is Super Status Bar. I've only used this with MIUI so I'm not sure it'll work on any of the AOSP/AOKP ROMS we have. This app is also very customizable. U can change the color of your status bar.... position your clock to right, center, or left and there are a few themes out there also.
Finally a wallpaper app called Wallbase. It's what I use to find the nice ladies. Set the app to sketchy and hit the popular setting and there ya go.

I'm sure a lot of u already know about these apps but maybe there are a few of u who don't so like I said, just figured I'd share.
Later peeps.
Super Status Bar working on stock rom and ics base too... thanks
