Inside Terminal type: a2sd check
What does it say next to apps and private apps? It should say linked to sd if installed properly.

It says linked to sd for both
What did you use for partition size? 32/1024?

yes those numbers exactly.

Guys I need help again. So I partition my sd card. Have a2sd on it. Now what is the code to move every thing over to the card. Also can someone explain why this is necessary. I have a 32g card. I'm using kings haterslingers rom and it shows I have a2sd, sd card, internal, rom space.

I'm having the same issue. Even using the same rom.. Is there a 3rd part app that allows you to utilize the ap2sd space? All of my apps show up in the internal memory, it appears.
Can someone help? Pretty please.
In terminal type:
su
a2sd reinstall
Now hit enter(this is action not typed)

A2SDGUI is a great app to use. But because terminal emulator is needed for so much here on XDA, good idea to learn commands and usage of it as well.
After I link an app in links2sd I go to manage applications and I see that the app I just linked is on my phones internal memory. Isn't it supposed to be on my sd cards second partition?
Link2SD creates a link on the internal storage. The phone is not aware that it's just a link, and reports that the apps are on the internal storage. This is perfectly normal for Link2SD.
But after I link a few apps it says insufficient storage. Doesn't that mean links2sd is actually using my internal storage

Reboot your phone. You should find that the free space has increased.
I rebooted and it's been stuck on the boot screen for 2 hours
Reboot into recovery and wipe both the cache and dalvik cache, then reboot again.
I rebooted and my internal memory is still the same. Also if the links trick the phone into thinking they're on the internal storage will they also trick applications like disk usage?

You can view the /data/sdext2 partition in DiskUsage. You can also check in Link2SD "storage Info".
In the settings for Link2SD, make sure Auto Link is turned on and also enable Link application file, Link dalvik-cache file, and Link library files.
Thanks for your help

Before you create a link to the SD card, the apps have to be on the internal memory, maybe you had them on the SD card and that was the problem.
Why what happens if they're on the sd card

Don't know, I've just read it somewhere. I'm sure nothing bad, maybe nothing and it will work properly, but all my app were on the internal memory before I created a link to the SD card, and everything works fine and I still have a lot of space on the internal.
I am also facing the reported issue and don't understand why does it keeps on reducing my internal memory and if I place my apps on internal memory and then link then what's the use since in one way or other I am consuming my internal memory.
Can anyone help.

When you are in CWM are you choosing to back up to external sdcard or just backup?

You can try formatting the memory card by connecting your phone in 'USB storage' to PC and format by PC and then repeat the process.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I've formatted my card, but it still says SD Card is blank or has unsupported file system.
In the STORAGE options it says i can Mount SD card but it comes up saying 'Blank SD Card in my notification bar.
Then if i select the warning, it gives me the option to format the card. I try to do this but it gives me the same error of blank sd card etc..
Please help!!
Many thanks.
Try format in fat32
Window by default don't have option if your card is bigger than 32gb, use third party applications.

Maybe it's a ROM or Kernel problem..
Try other kernels like RedPill 1.42 maybe it fixes it.. (which I use right now)
Or try Jellybam 7.1 ROM (which I use right now)
