Microusb to 3.5mm adaptor !! Any one ? - Galaxy S II Accessories

I was wondering if a microusb to 3.5mm audio adaptor would work for listening to music and making voice calls ?
I am hoping to see an improvement in volume .

Yup tried that .
It increases the sound through speakers and headphones but quality is going down.
ALso the microphone through headset is not amplified. Returned the app.
Will wait for some genunine hacks.

Turn it up a little at a time til you find the max with no distortion

Try this:
Install equalizer app from market.
Open the app and raise all 5 bars to max.
Done.
For mp3: use pre amp feature of players like poweramp.
What quality is your music at? What kind of head phones are you using? I say this because my set up I have to turn down because it's too loud.

I use Poweramp + Audio Technica M60.
Try this (attachment)@PowerAMP equalizer.
Also check your audio file quality.

Hello I'm new to the forum , I just got my note 3 and I noticed when I play music through my headphones it's not as loud as my HTC one Was , its sounds ok But it's weaker , any recommendations to make it sound louder or that's more a hardware issue, btw the speaker on the phone is about the same

Same..I've been having an issue where if you pick the song, it'll play pretty loud. Then when it plays again, (repeat) it'll play really soft.

HTC one has a built in amp. Personally, I think the headphone output is great and the best I've had on a phone. The gnote2 with Wolfson was excellent but slightly quoted than I would've preferred with headphones. All the mods people say to try did not fix it on the gnote2 as it added distortion or artifacts or even worse and that is why I quit using them. It is best to get a headphone amp. They can be had pretty cheap or check out JDS labs and the O2 and c5 amps. A little more pricey but probably cheapest audiophile quality amp for the price.

thanks for the response guys, the good thing is at least i don't listen to music with headphones often mainly i will stream it thru my tv to my bose system but i figure i ask

Its not bad using inner ear headphones, but lacking if your driving a headset. Its an easy fix. They lower it for some Korean law to help stop hearing loss/damage for something. But I also like it loud for when I connect my phone up to my cars 3.5mm input jack.

No because they use apple's 3.5 jack set up which is made to only work on apple devices.

I never found in that worked. Even had to replace a pair of beats headphones because of this

headphones

So what type of headphones are needed to get value from the processing in this phone? Do simple earbuds sound any different or do you need special headphones? Also, how would this impact Bluetooth stereo headphones?
Reviews of the HTC 10 say they include premium earbubs with the phone that work with the upgraded boomsound.

Not in the US
I also learned that they are quite good for included free earbuds (way above the competition). But I guess they may not superseed my EUR 200+ audiophile earbuds. I am highly anticipating how these will sound with the HTC 10.
there is a lot unboxing video no one review headphone

So what type of earphones do you need to actually make the audio improvements worthwhile? Any difference on bluetooth?

That article specifically said that the unlocked version won't ship with the ear buds so it's possible the carrier versions will come with them. It would be a huge mistake if they don't imo.

Just a pair good enough to have a positive reaction to EQ (ie. a pair that won't bloat with a little added bass or have harsh highs). I'm very interested in that headphone software to get the best out of my headphones. Especially since they placed emphasis on left and right channel within the app. I'm expecting it to EQ left and right to sound equal even if your ears don't hear equally.
Bluetooth headphones would bypass the DAC and would only receive the benefit of the EQ. Not the full benefit but a benefit nonetheless.
I read that there will be headphones that will plug into the type-c input as well. I dont think from HTC but after market.

The Reflect Aware C. HTC and JBL are "teaming up" it seems.

T-Mobile looks like it won't include HiFi earphones as well. You'll see if you watch the 10,000 ft unboxing. It's just frustrating really that US and Canada won't include it in the box.

True. I'm one of the people who got pissed with the confusing advertising they have with the HTC 10. It's not just the earphones, the payment option that they're saying "preorder now 12 months no patients mo interest financing. And then when you checkout, PayPal Credit option's nowhere to be found. HTC support emailed me that the PP Credit option at checkout would be available after the preorder period. Lol. I'd would hit HTC in the back of the head it was a person.

This is what I found. So far HTC hasn't cleared the air.
Some regions will get headphones. So far I heard for the USA carriers will not, but the unlocked one will. Some news siteso got the same answer, and some got different ones.
