Hi Folks,
i am a noob and have just started picking up the tricks of the trade.i have an unbranded htc desire. Was using the HiAPk rom till now. Then thought of flashing the INsertcoin 1.1.2. Created EXT4 for the same and recopied all data to my sdcard. Now when i try to flash any rom it just gets caught at the boot screen. Hi dont have a recovery image. But i do have a nandroid backup. Restoring the backup is not helping as well. The phone is s-off,rooted with clockword recovery 2.5.0.7. i do have access to recovery but, whatever i do, the phone gets stuck at the boot screen. Please assist. I guess this occured when i accidentally selected/deselected hboot/fastboot option? can that be a potential cause?
Try and go into recovery then wiping Data/Cache, then go to advanced -> wipe dalvik cache and reboot. If it doesnt work, reflash the rom and do the above steps again and reboot. See if it works

Tried doing the above steps but still caught at the boot screen whenever i reboot. Though the rom got installed but, on rebooting the same boot screen staring at me
What version recovery do you have? Try updating it, although remember that having a nandroid backup from an older recovery wont restore if you are on a newer recovery. So maybe it isn't a good idea to update your recovery if you only have a nandroid from an older recovery.
BEFORE READING ON: What partitions are you using? It could be that the new ROM you want to flash doesn't fit in the current partitions you have flashed. Stock? CM7r2? Oxygen?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Try with Fasboot Commander v1.51 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1193915).
Here are steps I used last night when I was in the same situation as you:
1.Once you download Fastboot Commander, make sure you have the latest java downloaded on your PC (java.sun.com).
2.Once you've done that, open up Fastboot Commander on your PC, then boot your phone using Vol Down + Power and choose "FASTBOOT".
3.Then, connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable and go to the "misc" tab in Fastboot Commander and click "Check connection", and if it's successful, then choose "print device info" so you see everything is OKAY.
4.Paste the "Device Info" here too so we can see what's up!
5. On the same "misc" tab in Fastboot Commander, tick the boxes in the "Erase partitions": System, Cache, Boot
6. Click "Erase Chosen Partitions"
7. Choose "BOOTLOADER" on your phone display, and when it's done, disconnect the USB cable.
8. Flash the new ROM as usual, while doing a full wipe right after you flashed it (still in recovery): Dalvik/Data/Cache
9. Reboot when done and hopefully it will work.
If it doesn't work, I think it will be that you are trying to install a ROM which supports a different partition table than what you have flashed, which is causing the bootloops because of the lack of space on the partitions needed.
Good luck

Hi, was using a HiApk ROM till now which needs no partitions at all. Also i agree that it might be the case that the new rom which i want to flash is not supporting the partitions(no reasons why HiAPK shouldnt run coz had been running it without partitions for the past 2months). Before going ahead ,do u think i should i re-format my sdcard to FAT32 and delete the partitions..Just in case this doesnt work out i go ahead with the fastboot commaHer. Whatever you suggest is what i am going to do. Thanks.

Also the new ROM that i was trying to flash requires a 1gb ext2/3/4. So i did a 1 gb Ext4 partition. This one is the stable insertcoin 1.1.2

EDIT: Forgot to mention that in order to use Fastboot Commander you'll need the ADB drivers. Just install HTC Sync to get the drivers for it!
Since you say in the beginning that you are S-Off and have Recovery 2.5.0.7, the only things I can think of that you haven't done are this:
1. Insertcoin 1.1.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1016940&highlight=insertcoin) says you need to be S-off (which you are), and have the latest recovery (5.0.1.0). So my first piece of advice would be to update your recovery to 5.0.1.0 from what you have now (2.5.0.7) but remember what I said about nandroid backups and recovery earlier on!!
2. Make sure you have a 1GB Ext2, Ext 3 or Ext4 partition on your SD-card. The way to partition your SD-card is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7279872&postcount=3
Insertcoin says it should work on the stock HBOOT which I'm assuming you have since you said you've never flashed another partition table on your phone.
So basically, update your recovery (best done with Fastboot Commander imo) and make sure the md5 sums match up. Once you've updated your recovery, make sure your SD card is ready, then wipe everything in recovery and reflash the rom, and wipe everything in recovery again before rebooting.
Again, remember that since you made your nandroid backup in CWM 2.5.0.7, it wont be able to restore in CWM 5.0.1.0 so basically once you update your recovery your nandroid from 2.5.0.7 will be useless.

Hey Eddie N,
Just one thing. Now just to get back to the ROM i was running till now, should i just flash HiAPK now after doing all those steps as u suggested? Once i get through with this i can go ahead to flash insertcoin. But , first priority now is to just run the phone out of the boot screen in HiAPK(as it requires no partitioning/no recovery issues).. Thanks for the invaluable help. I am gonna keep u posted
I'd do this now:
Nandroid back to your HiAPK, then get RomManager and in Rom Manager update your CWM from 2.5.0.7 to 5.0.1.0 (the EASIEST way). Do a nandroid backup right away through rom manager after installing the new recovery so you can always go back if something goes wrong!! Reboot to recovery and reflash insertcoin.
After doing that you should have what's needed to run insertcoin (S-Off, latest recovery, Stock hboot, 1gb ext2/3/4). Before you didn't have latest recovery and you changed SD-card but i assume you fixed your SD-card now
If nandroiding back doesn't work, reflash it from scratch. If THAT doesn't work I'm not quite sure how to help you further I'm new myself but managed to fix my bootloop last night with the method i gave you

You are the man!!!yes i changed my sd card now. MAybe my sd card has gone bad. No wonder i couldnt flash any rom..Now back to HiAPK. I am gonna setup my sdcard again using gparted. Dont rely think the partitioning tool i was using till now was wrking(perhaps damaged my sd card) Thanx a lot mate
Just checked.. The phone was loading up even without the sd card(the one suspected of having gone kaput). But, now when restart the phone with that sd card it gets stuck at the boot screen. Any reason why this can be happening?
Seriously.. there should be sticky saying that stuck at htc screen, or bootloop is not a brick.

Heya,
I was using the LeeDroid ROM until today, when I desided I want Cyanogen.
I backed up the phone using ROM Manager, wipe and flashed Cyanogem 6.1 RC2. The phone restarted, turned on - but it cn't load the actual android OS - just keeps restarting on the blue wheel-thing animation.
I can boot my phone into recovery, but can't do much from there since its S-ON.
The recovery windows says:
bravo pvt1 ship s-on
hboot-0.80.0000
microp-031d
touch panel-synt0101
radio-5.10.05.23
fastboot
recovery
clear storage
simlock
what can I do to get my phone working again? Will a simple restore using HTC software do the trick (followed by root with unrevoked)?
Thanks

Which version of Clockworkmod recovery did you fakeflash? There is an issue with the latest one that makes your SDcard unaccessible afterwards. It also mess up your USB.
Here is a thread that guides you how to fix it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=691639
I used the latest one, 2.5.1.7 I think.
Isn't there a way to restore the phone with the HTC software, sonething lite the iphone+itunes combo?
Is your sd card not being recognzed?
As you said you created a backup using rom manager before you flashed the new rom. So why dont you just enter hboot, go to recovery and the restore youre phone to the backup that you made using rom mabager before you flashed?
When I select "recovery" using the HBOOT I get a picture of a phone, and a red triangle with an exclamation mark. Does this mean I have to do the USB brick fix?
hmmm thats odd ... sounds like it could be a usb brick related issue, im not sure as i havnt had the same problem before or seen anyone else in the forum experiencing this problem.
I think you should read up more about the usb brick fix, hopefully there is something there that would be able to help you ... if its already known that the latest version of clockworkmod does give this problem then im sure its this and you would be able to find a solution to this problem.
Good luck
UPDATE:
My bad, I was supposed to press volumeup+power to see the recovery screen.
Now, when I do that I get "E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command", and get only 4 options:
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe date
wipe cache
Is this related to the USB BRICK thing?
You need to wipe data when switching roms, this will fix the bootloop.
I would also suggest you flash a permanent recovery for ease of use. You need to use unrevoked to do this.

This is the default android recovery screen. The error "E:Cant open...." is something I also get.
Do you have an update.zip on your SDcard? Like the clockworkmod recovery? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=839640Use 2.5.0.7 and not 2.5.1.2 (has the fail you most likely see now). If correct update.zip on SDcard, try to press apply sdcard. If youre able to do so, you are accessing your sdcard. If youre getting problems applying this update file. I suggest following the thread I told you in my first post You then have to make your SDcard accessible with a fastboot command.
You are accessing fastboot by holding vol down while powering your phone on. Select fastboot. Plug your USB. Download the Android SDK or only fastboot.exe. Run this command from cmd: "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0". You should get a return command like "okay", and your SD card should be accessible again. Now you will need to follow the guide and fix your USB. However, you should be able to flash a new ROM now when your SDcard is accessible again, or just restore the nandroid backup that gave you this problem to begin with

When i select that I get "E; failed to open sdcard\update.zip (no such file or directory)

Does this simply mean I don't have that file on my card?
If so, is there a way to access the card in mass storage mode while the phone is in HBOOT?

Do you have a mem reader for windows/linux? Look if you have the file or not. If you don't have it, copy it there. If it's there, you have a problem with accessing the SDCard.
I would say, If I were you, I would try to "repair" the SDcard with the fastboot command first. Most likely, your ROM will boot again when it can read from your SDcard.
Other options would be to try to push the update file with ADB in Android Recovery. Most likely you can't push it either since your SDcard most likely is inaccessible. Try fastboot
Download Android SDK for Windows here: http://dl.google.com/android/android-sdk_r07-windows.zip
MD5: 69c40c2d2e408b623156934f9ae574f0
Unzip the file. Open CMD, navigate to the tools folder in SDK. Issue the command.
Source: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
I ran the SDcard fix on CMD, it said "OKAY", but nothing changed in the phone's condition.
I put the SDcard on a card reader and saw there are backup files (.img) in the clockworkmod directory. how do i get the phone to recover from them?
The "update.zip" file, where can i get that one?

You can get your update.zip file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=839640
Download the 2.5.0.7 zip file and rename to update.zip. Put on root of SDcard and apply sdcard: update.zip in android recovery. From here, go to nandroid, restore, and select your backup.
Doesn't the Update.zip file suppose to be a zipped ROM?
Not necessarily. A zip can flash a lot of different things. I'm not that much into it. But it all depends on the content of the zip file.

Don't remember what it's called exactly. But when running update.zip (clockworkmod), you should have a restore menu somewhere...
Thanks a lot man! recovering right now.. will update when done.
About that S-ON thing, will the Unrevoked reflash option "Remove phone security" take care of this? Is there a risk in re-rooting?
I want to add some notifications sounds and the "system" folder is write protected
EDIT:
The restore works just fine!
As simple as that
Another question: if I perform "format system" and then reboot, will I be left without recovery?
I bought my device already rooted, but I understand that there is some sort of stock recovery. Is it true, if yes, what does it do?
In case I reboot after formating system and there will not be recovery as I suspect, I will be able to flash recovery image via fastboot as usual, right?
thanks
Format system will format the system partition, not the recovery.
Recovery will remain intact.
Thank you, but I would really like to understand how it works:
I know that the Internal memory devides into 3 partitions: system ,cach, data.
Which are the ROM. (This "ROM" is actually just flash memory isn't it? and is rewritable)
Where is the partition of the recovery if so?
Are there more partitions than those 3 in there?
Now when I come to think about it, I still don't know where the radio partition is, and where the data of bootloader is located.
I would still like to know what happens if you perform "format boot". Is it the partition where recovery is sitting or it refers to the memory partitioning (aka Hboot).
and That too
I bought my device already rooted, but I understand that there is some sort of stock recovery. What does a stock recovery allow to do?

thanks
There are actually more than those 3 partitions =)
There is:-
HBOOT - This is the bootloader its-self and contains the partition table
Boot - Contains the Kernel and a ramdisk used during startup
Recovery - Contains the recovery image
System - Contains the ROM installed on the device
Data - The internal memory, apps etc stored here
Cache - Pretty self explanatory =D It hold the cache =P
Radio - (Not too sure if this is on the NAND or not) Tells the radio chip how to communicate with your carrier etc (as far as I'm aware, someone feel free to correct me)
If you format boot, the phone will just go right to the bootloader without actually loading Android, but with a custom recovery it can be fixed easily by reflashing the ROM, nandroid restore, or by using fastboot to flash an existing boot.img. (Just a note here, flashing a Kernel wont fix this as the scripts used try to extract some parts from the existing boot.img, which isn't there after a format =P)
Assuming that you have an S-OFF HBOOT (Alpharev) you can flash any of those partitions with an image, using Fastboot as you mentioned, however, if you don't have S-OFF, you would have to do it through the Recovery (and you can’t flash HBOOT through recovery).
The phone does come with a stock Recovery Image, but this is very limited, Can only flash update.zip signed by HTC (again, might be wrong here), factory reset (Wipe data), reboot the phone and possibly some others.
Using either ClockworkMod Recovery or Amon_RA's recovery will let you flash custom ROMs, perform nandroid backups + restore (Boot, system + data) and a few other fancy things like wiping individual partitions =)
Hope this helps!
Thanks alot! you've explained it very clearly.
I would like just correct a very tiny mistake, probably unintentional - Factory reset is "wipe data", not "format system + data".
I got the answers that I wanted and more.
thanks again
It was unintentional =P I corrected incase someone happens upon the post.

Hi guy`s looking for some help with and HTC Desire that is stuck on the TMobile UK load screen.
I have tried a few methods to try and get it back to life but without success.
I originally used the Gingerbeard release from HTC to upgrade the phone but after finding it left me with almost no memory to download apps etc I decided to revert back to stock rom RUU_Bravo_TMO_UK_1.15.110.11_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_122755
After completing this , my phone now turns on and sticks on a screen with a small pink circle.
Before loading the stock rom I gained s-off and created a Naand back up using Unrevocked as I was having issues with the RUU above.
From what I have been reading I have a PVT4 device and the clockworkmod is unsutaible.
I have now downgraded the bootlaoder to AlphaRev Unlock and loaded Recovery-RA-desire-v2.0.0 but when I click onto recovery my phone still just go`s to the pink circle screen again.
When booted into HBOOT the screen shows..
AlphaRev Unlock

RADIO 4.05.00.11

Do you want to start update?
YES
NO.
Could some kind sole please advise me where I am going wrong. If needed I can list what is on my SD card etc etc.
Thanks very much if you can help me. I am a bit stuck with this one and having to revert back to my HTC Hero is a bit of a pain in the hole.

it was very easy to find m8 and helped me downgrade the bootloader. My device is PVT4 which in the guide it says to stick to "Flashing Custom Recovery". Unfortunately I am having problems getting Android Flasher to run on my pc. I will try on my netbook later.
At present I can boot into fastboot but when I chose recovery to try and flash Amon Ra`s recovery image I just return to to pink circle logo.
I must admit I am getting a bit mixed up as to what stage I am currently at as I have tried a few different methods from your troubleshoot guide.
Thanks for your help, I will continue to read up on the subject over the next few days and hopefully be able to get my handset back to life.

Hi Bortak, took things back step or two and I have now managed to gain access to recovery using Fastboot Commander.
I have flashed update-cm-7.10-Desire-signed.zip everything seemed ok then when I rebooted the phone I went straight back to the pink circle screen. I accessed the recovery twice through fast commander without any problems now it`s not letting me get into recovery again lol Oh Well back to the drawing board.
Thanks again for your help

if android flasher doesn't work try fastboot commander.. you need android SDK set up though, its not that hard, just look at resources its there

Hi mate sorry for bothering you but I have managed to get back into recovery, could you give me a couple of pointers as to what to do next. I am able to get access through fastboot commander and recovery image RA-Desire-v2.0.0 but as I say any time I try to load the rom I mentioned above it go`s through the update process then dumps me back to the pink circle screen.
I am obviously missing something that I cannot quite put my finger on. I am normally quite good with things like this as I used to be able to flash images etc on to Linux D-Box`s but this really has me stumped.
I am going to try a few different roms but something is telling me that I need to go back to a stock rom, would this be correct?
Thanks again and sorry for being a total pain.

Did you do a full wipe before you flashed?
Full wipe:
/mounts & storage
> format boot
> format cache
> format system
> format data
> format sd-ext
Also, since you're S-OFF, make sure you have the correct SPL/hboot... Cyanogen Will run on everything BUT Oxygen hboot.

Hi mate, at present my handset is sitting in the Android System Recovery , My options are..
Reboot System Now
USB-MS toggle
Back Up/Restore
Flash zip from sdcard
Wipe
Partition sdcard
Mounts
Other
Power Off
I dont have the option for mounts & storage. If I go into mounts I have this list...
Mount /storage
Unmount Cache
Mount /data
Mount /sd-ext
Mount /sdcard
If I use the Wipe option I get an option to....
Wipe All Userdata
Wipe only /data
Wipe only /sd-ext
Wipe only /sdcard/ .android secure
Wipe only /cache
Wipe only Dalvik-cache
Wipe only battery stats
Wipe only rotate settings.
I have no option to format anything just the Wipe all userdata which is the closest thing to what I am looking to do. Would this be correct ?
Thanks again m8 I really appreciate your help.

oh right you dont have clockworkmod..
okay here's an idea. Download this then flash it in recovery like you would any ROM..
or this with fastboot
then follow the instructions I wrote before.

Success I done the wipe all user data , used LeeDroid 2.5 final and everything has worked well.
Thanks again m8, I couldnt have done any off this without you Tutorial or help. Your a top man.
no prob. That's why I prefer using Clock in contrary to Amon RA - the formatting options, sometimes you just can't do without them (without using fastboot)
Hey everyone,
I just did something wrong i guess...I had CM7r2 Hboot and wanted to switch to the Oxygen Hboot in order to use the Oxygen ROM. So i downloaded the Oxygen Hboot, checked and verified the MD5sums, opened android flasher, chose the oxygen Hboot image and flashed it like I did with the CM7r2 before.
Problem now is that i can't boot into bootloader when holding Vol down+Power. instead the phone reboots into Recovery (Ext4) again and again and again. the recovery simply reloads all the time...
Because I can't boot into bootloader I can't flash the old Hboot or anything. And i can't use recovery because it reloads all the time
I am seriously f***ed and don't know what to do know!
Any help will be highly appreciated. I do have android-sdk and adb tools on my PC but never used them. If that is of any help...
I am pretty nervous now and afraid I broke me phone Please help!
Edit: Now it suddenly worked and i can get into bootloader. phew...that should make things easier ^^ It says Oxygen R2, so the flashing process worked. What should i do now? Maybe flash a new/different recovery? Try booting the recovery again? Don't wanna mess it up now that i got back into bootloader..
My original plan was installing the new hboot, wipe everything and clean install...
Get fastboot commander (it's a much better program, but requires SDK and JDK, links on my guide)... when you've got it working then:
Open FBC, go to the "misc" tab and select
-recovery
-boot
-system
-data
-cache
and click "erase chosen partitions"
Then use it to flash a new recovery.
Meh forget this, easier and faster method below...
Thanks for the quick reply. Did you see my edit in first post? Is your procedure then still necessary?
From your troubelshooting guide i guess my recovery is somehow corrupted, right? So flashing a new recovery using android flasher ( i am used to it and would save me time working myself into fastboot commander) should do the job, roght?

if you're paranoid (and I would be) then yes lol
Actually you can just do it with cmd, it'd be easier... unpack the attached file into c:\
open cmd and type: (make sure you boot into fastboot mode)
Code:
cd\
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata (or fastboot erase data, can't remember which)
fastboot erase cache
Then use android flasher and flash a recovery (whatever one you want)..
then flash oxygen
This is just to be on the safe side btw, maybe your recovery screwed itself or something.. That's at least what I'd do anyway.. I mean if it works normally then you may not need to do anything, but I'd just be paranoid lol.
Ok, I did everything as you said, entered the cmd lines and flashed the current clockworkmod version as well as Oxygen. ROM booted and is working fine so far.
Thank you very much for your help!
Okay so i want this Oxygen ROM too. I am currently on the cm7/r2 hboot.
Would you recommend I move to another hboot then flash this rom?

If the hboot requirement for Oxygen ROM is oxygen hboot, then it is recommended to change the hboot. It should work without change of hboot but you are wasting 45mb which you can use as internal data storage.
If you are on Cm7r2, you can also add more apps to the Rom zip (Simply put the apk's in the system/apps folder) in order to use these 45mb and maybe leave a little space for themes, addons, customizations in case you want something like this. With Oxygen Hboot i couldnt even flash a UOT.zip because there's no more space. So I'd recommend Cm7r2 for anyone using Oxygen together with themes etc.
Hello.
I have my wildfire that's practically 2 days ago that no
Continuous reboot of the white HTC screen.
All this because I moved some app on sd system
(link2sd, s-on, root, gold card,) having an urgent need for space,
seen that the partition was over 1gb ext. result:
almost 350 apps, many even expensive, its saved data, photos,
videos, notes etc.. all gone, with the joke that is not restarted.
I tried with bootloader, recovery, custom rom, hard reset etc.,
no nothing. What do I do? I throw it in for service since
will realize modding, or someone you know give me some advice?
Thank you for your attention.
Sorry for my English
try wiping dalkiv first, i think that's often problem that causes bootloops...
but if it's because you've lost some system apps, you might need to comoletely re-install system from scratch?
don't worry about your paid apps, once you get the system up and running again, you can re-load your google account and get them all back
Hello and thank you for attention.
The problem is that in recovery mode does not gives me the chance to wipe.
Not even hard reset works. I tried to install custom ROM without any results. I want to reinstall everything from scratch, is it possible?
thanks
as long as you can get to the recovery menu you should be ok.
when you press and hold volume down and power then choose recovery...what screen do you get to? is it a custom recovery like CWM (clockworkmod) or is it the stock htc recovery (which just shows some sort of caution logo i believe).
if you have only thehtc stock recovery, you need to get a PG76IMG.zip for custom recovery and put this on the root of your memory card, then restart the phone with volume down+power and it should start reading the PG76IMG.zip and install custom recovery.....
from here you'll have all the options you need to wipe everything etc...
once you have this up and running, what i tend to do if everything has gone wrong is to wipe EVERYTHING and start from scratch.
I go into mounts and storage and format everything, then coem out, choose wipe data/factory reset, then choose wipe cache, then advanced, wipe dalvik, wipe battery stats, fix permissions...
then turn off phone, choose factory reset from the bootloader menu, then bot into reovery again to install custom rom or stock rom.
hope this makes some sort of sense, this is all jsut off the top of my head mind.... :s
thanks now I try and let you know
I tried in bootloader mode with cwm recovery 5.0.2.8, and returns to the bootloader.
I installed the file pg761img. It reads CID incorrect.
Finally factory reset is accessible only in bootloader, because the device always crashes on htc white screen and when I do not restart the time.
What do you think?
if you are getting cid error, i think it means you need to make "goldcard" in order to use pg761img.zip to flash custom recovery
he should install the RUU it is stickied its gonna put your phone back to stock as if you just bought it from the store

^^^^^^this
may also still need to make goldcard though, I think I had to when I wanted to use RUU.
if you can't get around some RUU errors though, you can try using the rom.zip from the ruu, extract boot.img and system.img and use fastboot at command prompt to flash them?
no root
Help root permissions that are not forthcoming, now that a friend of mine put it back in place, I can not swirling.
I tried more than once with htc supertool v3 but no dice. I noticed, looking at the phone info
and the bootloader screen, some differences related to the rom and radio than before.
But I think the phone has the unlocked bootloader. Suggestions?

try installing root.zip from cwm recovery
ok now I try. I would explain the process please? I am afraid to make a 'more trouble
just boot into cwm recovery (which i'm presuming you have installed already? if not, just use any of the tutorials, you're s-off so should have no problem insatlling custom recovery using tutorial).
put root.zip on your sd card
boot into recovery by holding volume down and press power, then scroll to "recovery" and press power to select.
once in custom recovery, select to install zip fom sd card, select to choose zip file and choose the root.zip
no need to wipe anything, just install then reboot system and confirm it's working by launching app "superuser" and attempt to update from within the app....if it updates it will say "that was cool, do it again?"....else it will say "update failed, retry".
GAPPS disappeared
Hi, I finally solved the problem, but I have created a 'more. I installed the cwm recovery, followed by recovery I installed the zip file root. Everything perfect, it is installed superuser and then I installed from market to link link2sd 8gb sd (6.40 gb fat32 - 64mb-1gb ext3 linux swap) some apps including GMail, MARKET, MAPS AND SEARCH. The problem is that they are gone after a cleanup of the cache and the data, I also tried to install some packages from the recovery GAPPS do not install them. Some help?
if your apps are missing maybe sounds like the ext partition is bot being mounted?
run link2sd and there is an option to "recreate mont scripts", be sure to choose the correct partition type that you have created e.g. ext2, ext3, or ext4?
