Hi all,
I have used the Arc for about 6 months now. I listen to Chinese music and have problems with displaying the name and artists in Chinese using the default music player.
I did manage to get it working under one circumstance: HK FW and Chinese Traditional language settings so my entire phone is in chinese UI.
Recently updated to .368 global generic, cannot load chinese characters even though I set language Chinese.
Summary of result in trying to display chinese characters below:
global generic FW - English = FAIL
global generic FW - Chinese Traditional = FAIL
HK FW - English = FAIL
HK FW Chinese Traditional = WORKS!!
Can someone explain this and tell me how it can be solved?
Also is there a HK .368 around in the forum?
Many Thanks

to obtain ime-mingliu.cab, you must check 5 boxes, then uncheck the 5th, and you'll see download link
CE-Star?
Why not just CE-Star?

because it's free
and it works fine with HP 211
Read on another forum that someone installed this and had to hard reset their device
Actually, CE-Star doesn't work all that well either - requiring a soft reset to restore keyboard normality after using it for a while, then agaiin my TP2 is the Asian version and HTC has added Chinese support and inputs to the device so I hardly need to run CE-Star except when I have to use their handwriting recognition.
so have you tried it or does it screw up your tp2? i have a tmobile tp2 and wants to add this, although i'd rather have something that displays traditional chinese yet allows me to use pinyin as ime
actually, I also have Hong Kong version ROM in hand
but I want to try studiokuma first, because I am unsure will Hong Kong ROM (it's CHT version) work with US TP2
hi all
can any one help me ?
i install Chinese version of android 2.2
and now i install English version market but it doesn't start
so could you help me how to start and work market in Chinese
i have Chinese version goapk_v.2.2.2-cn
The market is always connected to the language of your phone. So you cannot have two different languages for market and phone. As a result, to get english-language in the market, you have to set the language of your phone to english.
any one could tell me if the latest ruu support arabic (i am interesterd in reading for the keyboard its not a problem i can use another one like smart keyboard pro or perfect keyboard )
please any body on this build answer me
RUU_Ace_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.50.405.2_Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2_release_199042_signed
this one only has european languages in the "select your language" part.
i just tried it man,and i found out that it doesn't support Arabic at all,and now am stock cant get back to 2.42.415.1 (

Hi All, my friend just bought a Huawei FIT five days ago in China and when we received it here, we can not change the OS language from Chinese language. We have tried to change the phone (Honor 6 Plus) operating system language but the whatch doesnt change it. Everything works fine but the OS language remains in Chinese. Please help to fix this issue.
Can you download software for that watch and use adb with it?
*IF* you can do that here is a tutorial for the Huawei watch 1 to change from Chinese to English ROM.

*IF* you can not download new software for the FIT watch and get an adb connection, then you probably have no way to do what you want.

I managed to change the language by changing my location on the huawei app. I bought it in spain, but selected UK on app as I wanted it in english.
