Has anybody had this problem? I'm on MIUI latest 9-2. Any suggestions on how to fix it? It's been like this for weeks.

try installing the drivers again. also I would install HTC sync then uninstall it. it leaves all the drivers behind. or u could just do the right thing and switch to Linux

I just notice that multi touch support is stopping to work after some time. If I restart the phone it works again.
Is someone facing the same problem?

I get this problem when I switch my keyboard to Swype

Aha! I'm using swype too!
Weird why this happens..

It's weird that a pre-release piece of software that the developers have repeatedly ask for people not to distribute or use unless you're part of the closed beta group is affecting your handset in an adverse way?
Colour me stumped.
I updated my one x to jelly bean and now my win xp pc sees the device as a camera and coz of that I cannot see it as a storage device. Nor will winxp run the HTC sync manager. I have downloaded and installed latest sync drivers but no luck. Any help?

Update the HTC drivers and sync manager should do the trick i guess. Or mount it as a usb disk in the recovery
Sussed it. Win xp needs mtp protocol kit

When you connect you phone you have in "My computer" HTC Sync Manager..Open it..Update your drivers..And it will detect him like camera, but go to my computer open HTC One X with icon of camera and there you go..You have your internal phone memory..(everything normal just like usb mount)

Yesterday, i bought an old Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.2.1 and today, i plan to root it. But, unfortunately the computer didn't detect it. In the gnex itself didn't show notification about usb connection. I have tried to change the usb cable but it didn't work ! Please help
And a diffrent port, computer or os?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium HD app
Ueah, different port, ubuntu, windows xp and 7, my netbook and my pc. All didnt work! Maybe the gnex usb port is broken ? But it still can charge

And if you try a diffrent mobile or tablet with the same cable(s) and ports, operating systems and computers?

Yes, I try to connect my nexus 7 3g without any problem. It works very fine. I also try my friends nexus s and it works fine too

I had the same issue. Fixed by cleaning charging port. Use something small, not too hard or abrasive and gently.
What do you use to clean the USB port ?

Does it give an error? Or it just simply doesn't show any notification that a device has been connected? If there are no error messages, then try to boot into recovery or odin mode and connect to PC. If still nothing, then its more like a hardware failure and you should send it back to repair.
Thanks for the help. But,unfortunately it still didn't work. I will send back to repair

Need help to connect my HOV in fastboot mode in windows 8.1
Can anybody help??
Check your USB port driver in device manager, if it's signed by Microsoft it doesn't let you install the driver.

But its for windows 8, I need the 8.1 instead
Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
I guess it's the same because I did that on win 8 then upgraded to 8.1 and it still works with no problem.
Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
I can confirm it works on Windows 8.1 too, I did it today on my friend's laptop with Windows 8.1

I am pretty sure that he means tablet mode like Honeycomb. You will have to wait for someone to modify the framework or wait until AOKP/Paranoid comes out.
