The kernel was removed there too

The apk hasn't been updated since 2/26 but should see one in about a week. Til then you will need to use the trigger method posted in the AC thread to change resolutions. I'm waiting on a response from orrebmas about packaging apk/kernel/source together to comply with GPL v2.

One of the kernels was removed. However, there is still a stock kernel with only the HDMI drivers enabled that can still be downloaded and used to make the app work.
Can you pm me a link

No need for a PM as there is nothing wrong with this file and I can post it here for you or anyone who needs it:

Post #147 has a link to a flashable file for the stock kernel with HDMI enabled and the drivers needed for WiFi/WiMax to work.
Im using xboarders GB/CM ROM at the moment and its working flawlessly...but I always liked the dialer and keyboard (touch) of the stock Froyo. Is there an apk or something that i can add to it to change those two from the gingerbread style to the froyo style?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Aha you should ask XBoarder. Am sure you would have to change some things to make it properly work.

Either post this question is his thread or send him a pm. He's super cool about helping people out. I asked for dsp zip and 2 minutes later there it was. Same with honeycomb music player.

Thanks...btw whats the DSP manager anyways?
Its the shiz!!! Allows you to increase volume for bluetooth, phone speaker, and internal sound. Gives you effect options, graphic eg, and compression. I highly recommend it if you like to use your phone for music in car or on any sort of external speaker from headphones, aux connections, or bluetooth

Cool, thanks for the info. I was actually looking for something like that. Just gotta find it now.

You can download it from his threads and flash the zip in recovery

How do you flash those? Is it the same way as flashing the rom or is there a different selection for add-ons?

Thanks, Spastic! I just flashed xboarder's 'stock'/cm rom, and couldn't get the phone speaker to work. I saw your pst and tired flashing dsp mgr--now it works! I love how helpful forum members are!
Since I updated to jellybean my phones performance has been top notch and I am very satisfied except for a few missing mods. I'm currently on stock jb and I was wondering if somebody could make these mods.
1) skip track from volume keys when screen off. (on ics the exposed installer worked but it no longer does on jb)
2) Touch wiz inverted/themed gapps like the messaging app.
Other than waiting on the rom shop to theme my phone. I feel these 2 mods is all that stock rom needs.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Alot of others would like those features as well. I've been reading quite a bit for the feature and just might go with the easy route and purchase a music player with the mod.
I'm hoping we'll have it soon enough. I've been using power amp since forever and don't want to switch.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Found this but it doesn't flash for our device, I'm guessing cause of the script or something is for the international version... maybe someone can look into it for our phone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770564
I'd also like to have that feature on the stock music player. I don't really care for any of the other music players. I would really like to see the AM/PM removed from the status bar on stock rooted 4.1.1 if anybody has a flashable zip for that
For the status bar you'll have to wait on the rom shop update by evil. He removes am pm and centers it plus you can pick the theme.

am I blind or does the OP not have a link?
and after reading through it, it seems to only work on one media player. So if you use Pandora then you need to remove or freeze the stock music player....

As per my reply to your question you asked in a rom thread, no probably not. Most devs/cooks don't want to learn how to smali edit and such which is needed for that to work.

I've had my share of smali, isn't that located in the frameworks of the ROM?

We had it in a lot if earlier roms, but it never quite worked right so it was pretty much scrapped. I think it was flickering when you turned the screen off, or it would do the animation then flash the homescreen (or whatever you were just looking at) right before actually turning off.
To my knowledge, quite a few devs worked on fixing it but were never able to. Now that we are on official jb though...I dont know.

Is there any way to get call recording to work on the phone? Ive tried 5 different apps and none work.
A lot of the ICS roms have the ability enabled.
The one I used was Wanamlite. If you're on jelly bean, I don't think they've figured out a way to enable this.
Lemme dig through my apps.... I had one that worked flawless on CM10

The app called sanity had functional call recording on my telus model until the jelly been update (rooted stock rom). It was not the speakerphone trick either, it was good quality for both sides of the call.
So that's an answer for anyone who hasn't updated and a bump otherwise.

I finally found one that works. My 6th app I tried. It's called NG recorder.
I spoke too soon. Only works when on speaker. Anyone able to get call recording to work on S3?
Latest version of callrecorde work on S3. Check the thread to see what setting you need. You need Alsa and also you need to set the phone model as the last one in the list, qualcom experimental. I have it on JB and it is working fine, just a little crackle sound in the background but it does not change much, you can hear the conversation very well.

Yes, CallRecorder is working for me too but the crackle in the background is rather annoying. Any other clear sounding options available?
So, I have tried 6 different apps from the marketplace, and I can't seem to find an app that records anything more than static. I need this for an ongoing custody battle.
Its legal in my state. So, I thought I would throw that out there before I started getting flamed.
Anyone have any suggestions? I did a searched and found a thread from last year, but unfortunately it didn't work with my build.

If you mean by call recording, why not try S3Rx, deTmobilized, or Dandroid? They have call recording built into the dialer.

If you aren't there are several roms which have a built-in recorder. My favorite being blackwings MIUI rom.
