Sure it should be as to ensure your kid can have clear mind when jump from different built rom, otherwise ur kid will boring u by FC etc.

a better option will be backing up by titanium backup
you can backup your sms using sms backup pro
and if you already installed overcome kratos, you must have noticed that thepitbull already setup a guide for restoring and backuping which can be used for any roms.
I m downloading this rom.
BTW, since this was built from miuiandroid.com, why not asking them to host it as well ?
Titanium back works well also. I I mean loving this rim.

I can send Chinese message to my CDMA friend, no problem! I would guess it's your friend's problem or some unknown thing went wrong..
I would like to report that its working fine. Everything that worked in cm worked in this rom.
i don't really like the built-in browser might change it with opera.

Installation:
If you come from an Overcome rom then just copy the .zip file into your sd card, put your tab into recovery mode and flash it as usual.
If you come from another rom then go to www.teamovercome.net, download last kernel in .tar format, put your tab into download mode and flash the kernel.
Reboot your tab and let it to finish the conversion process.Once it end, put your tab into recovery and flash the .zip previously copied to your sd card.
To avoid any problem:
Go to recovery/storage menu
mount /system and format /system
go back and install the .zip

I did not mod any visual aspect of the rom so do not ask for screenshots, it is the same as any other stock rom with the same TouchWiz 4.0 Launcher.
I know that someone will ask for difference between this and other roms, well, this is a stock rom with some performance tweaks, at my personal taste it is pretty smooth and this won't be compared to the great Overcome roms speaking of visual enanchments and other tweaks.
For some reasons CSC is different in this new version than in older JQ1, i didn't have problems but in case let me know.

Nope, this is rom wipe all your data, it's the best way to avpid problems imo, using advanced restore in cwm you can restore all your data but i cannot guarantee if problems went.

Flashed so far so good, it's a wipe ROM, but internal SD it's not wiped during flashing process
Add Addon apk's package to first post, flash them with CWM if you need therm.

I could not recognize any kind of bug... This MIUI is stable

about lte, i dont know, in settings i mean, there was only 2g/3g and 3g
BUT: theres a hidden menu (by call a special number, on stock, there was "3845#*975#" but on this, i think, it isnt working..)
in this hidden menu, you can change your preferrent network (4g, 3g, 2g, 3g/2g)!
In Stock ROM LTE only appears if your provider has LTE...
maybe miui works in the same way

ive been using this one as replacement ug savvyrom v4 and my feedback about this is "YOU ROCK MY PHONE DUDE! i think its advisable for daily use though
almost 22k ANTUTU BENCHMARK SCORE it really helps me to rock my phone )
BUT JUST AN ADVICE!! once you install WSM TOOL 2.1.2 dont! DONT! update it coz it will BOOTLOOP your phone ) yeah! thanks for this

i just flash 3.12.27. do i need to flash this update? or just update it via OTA?
3.12.27 is newest miui
then next friday your updater will say "hello, new update"
but this update is no Multilanguage update! (so, wher in this update the app "settings" replace the old, you settings app is englisch, because in this update ther are no multilang strings included
what i will say:
when you are on this multilanguage version, do not update it via OTA! you will lost Multilang...
Ota update is not working on the multilang miui you always get status 7 error...
But i try to offer every week the translated update...

Im using UC browser to download. Its been 3 hours since i started the download. I had same issue with chrome. 30 minutes left :'(
OK, downloaded the rom in 10 minutes at 1.4MB/s, installed it and here are my findings;

to disable pinyin keyboard goto settings>language and input> untick samsung chinese keyboard
ROM is very smooth and fast
External storage fix is already included
