I hav flashed my ARC to 4.0.A.2.368 and use DooMKernel [Rel: v07][Dt: 13/Aug/2011][FW:4.0.A.2.368]. And i want to try APP2SD but dont know how to boot my ARC in to recovery mode. I search everywhere but cant do that.
Can anyone tell me how to "Boot ARC in to Recovery mode" Step by Step..Thanks for help
ps. im noobies and sorry for ask stupid question.

Hello Guys,yesterday i wanted to get cyanogenmod in my phone i was trying to unlock the boot loader with flash tool and when is done i tied to switch it and nothing happens..... i read too many threads about that but nothing helped me.I have tried Hard reset SEUS , Sony PC companion , also to press power button with middle button and back button but nothing happens, no vibrade no light (green or red), please help me with this i willl try everything, i also went to cellphone technician but they said me they gonna fix the bootloader with 30€ is too much money can you help me please :'/

I have managed to brick my phone very well.. it won't show bootload logo itself..
I was in a JB custum Rom with Kernel..
First phone was not going into fastboot mode.Even when I press vol down button its taking to flashmode(green button)
So I flashed stock firmware with its kernel.. now also it was not taking me to fastboot.. so I did "adb reboot bootloader" phone booted into fastboot
then I flashed a JB kernel... then its gone... no lights turn on.. not even bootloader logo is shown....does any one has solution... or I better take it to sony for fix... pls help

umm.. as i know to enter fastboot mode you should press search button (not volume down button)
from your story its probably out of batery, so may be you can charge it a while or try it with another batery
btw have you try to reflash it with stock ftf??

Hey everyone, I know there are lots of threads on this subject, and I am currently sifting through them looking for the fix that will work for me. My Ion is boot looping without end, and I cant get it into flashmode.i can get it to vibrate once on a vol up + power press, but cant enter flashmode afterwards or fastboot mode. Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT: I dont know what happened, but now im stuck in a frozen state of screen on, but its black. Am I hard bricked?

I need some serious help:angel:
my htc desire 816 stuck at boot screen(htc screen), I already try to restart with press power button+vol up. But it didn't work.
My device back to stuck at boot screen again.
2 days ago I got notification from HTC on my device for update software.
I follow the instructions, download then install. success.
Now, this morning. Just wake up and found my device hang at boot screen.
I create new thread coz I can't find this situation in this forum yet.
Please anyone kindly help my situation.

then I charge until 6 hour. and now my phone totally dead.

SOrry to know about your loss. Is your phone unlocked and rooted by any chance? If so then there are some alternatives. If not, it is much better to check with HTC support so that they will get you fresh installation if it is still under warranty. All the best.

I experienced it when I freeze user interface of HTC. It is HTC blink. When I defrost is my phone started.
To do this, I first removed SIM and microsd and re-plug them. Then from settings panel at the right top, I found Rom Toolbox and defrosted apps.
How did u resolve it?

hey, check for RUU for your varient. If available flash stock RUU.
Android 5.0 is very different than 4.4, I suggest you to perform a factory reset on your phone from hboot.
Press power + vol down buttons to enter in hboot
Same problem. Phone has boot loop and not enter to fastboot.
When reconnect battery, phone go to boot loop and nothing.
Try Press power + vol down buttons, but nothing. Has solutions? Or hardware problem?
My htc desire 816 is rooted and it powered off and got stuck on android is upgrading screen

Got it solved by pressing POWER + VOLUME UP for about 20 secs, after it vibrates and light gets brighter and it will start. Before I also removed SIM and SD cards and plug them back in.
guys I had same experience mine. here is what I did. I opened the back cover, disconnects the battery and connected it back my phone came back but I discovered that the battery stoped charging but phone is working well. don't know why the battery stoped charging

my phone htc desire 816 dual sim is stuck in logo while installing custom rom,i was using twrp recovery when i touch wipe option in twrp recovery i show mny options "system,cache,internal storage etc i tick all option except external and usb,after tick option then i swap and reboot mobile is is stuck on screen,i am trying to go to recovery but nothing hppnd

bro please help..my bootloader is unlockes...i was trying to root my phone using cwm recovery and super su zip...after flashing zip my phone stuck at boot screen...please help!!
