[Q] Fdn enabled message during airplane mode - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I currently have myn's warm 2.2 rls5 rom installed, as well as the latest netarchy kernel (for full hdmi mirroring), and when I place the phone in airplane mode, in the notification bar when pulled down, I get the message, "Fdn enabled, please disable fdn and try again." This message is also normally displayed on the lockbar, except I have a custom lockbar installed. This message takes up valuable space in the notification bar also, and I want to remove it. Is there any way to do this? I am running android 2.2, and since I'm rooted and like my setup, I see no reason to update, at least not yet. Any help concerning this problem?

Problems with MikG Inc 3.0

So I flashed MikG Inc 3.0 today and I've had a few annoying bugs. First off I keep getting that verizon ota update notification and don't know how to get rid of it. Second I have this message in notifications that says "Phone storage is empty or has unsupported files", my sd card and emmc are working fine so I don't know what the problem is. How do I get rid of it? Also occasionally when I reboot I'll end up at the lockscreen only there is no slider and only the wallpaper so I have to do a battery pull. Any ideas on what's wrong?

I had the same issue with the SD card i believe. it even carried over to other roms, I fixed it by flashing another Sense rom (Teerom) and when it popped up in the notification bar i clicked it and formatted it. Problem solved.
As for the lockscreen issue, after i saw it two or three times, i went back to my regular rom. Its a really fast 2.1 rom but as with all ports, it has bugs.

[Q] Getting errors after installing COREDROID ONE X v3.6

I installed COREDROID ONE X v3.6 full wipe successfully, after installation I got errors like Unfortunately system UI has stopped, I just clicked OK and the it pop-up again.
Also sometimes I get the Wifi icon on the top bar when I am not conected to any Wifi networks.
Is there something wrong with what I did?
Any ideas?
Another question, what faux kernel should you suggest...?
In addition, I also experience a sudden wake up while on stand by mode, is there a way to check which app is waking the phone? or is it a bug?
Please help...

[Q] Wifi error (on multiple mods)

Hello:
My wifi is not working, on the menu on cM9 it just have this stupid message "Turning wifi on" and nothing happen... In other mods it says "wifi error", its not grayed but it says it. If I switch on it goes back to off with the same message.
My phone felt and I had to get the screen changed but it started BEFORE. Bluetooth seems to work.
Tried basically anything I found on google::
-CUstoms (CM7 and 9, WC) and stock roms w/ full installs with wipe/factory reset and so on
- So-called "forcing wifi" aps
-*#*#526#*#* dial on the phone.
So its not lupus ...
ANY help is welcome. Im starting to think its hardware, any way to be sure?
I had this problem once on CM9 but I think a reboot fixed it. Not sure though.. Anyway your problem is worse if flashing other ROMs doesn't fix it.
Also, use the Q and A section in future please

[Q] Inc 2 with Evervolv: WiFi issue [Solved]

[I posted this yesterday in the wrong forum, and with fewer than 10 posts I can't post this in the developer forum. Sorry if this is the wrong place, again, but I need help.]
I have rooted my Inc 2 and was using CM 7.2 for a time; everything worked. Recently I installed a new ROM, Evervolv. I first installed the 2012.12.13 release, which didn't work well, then two nightlies: 2013.07.01, then 2013.07.03. Everything has worked on the nightlies except for a weird WiFi error. When I scrub the phone and install the Evervolv zip file, along with gapps, then reboot into Evervolv, WiFi starts right up and works normally. I can download files, sync my accounts, no problems. Then I turn off WiFi, either through the widget or through the slider in system settings, and it shuts off permanently. There is no way to turn WiFi on again. Pressing the widget makes it light up for a few seconds then go dark, and the WiFi "wedge" never appears in the top bar. Alternatively, through system settings, I will slide the WiFi bar to On, the message will appear that WiFi is turning On, but then the slider goes to Off and WiFi does not turn on.
I love this ROM and don't want to get rid of it. Can anyone suggest what the problem is? Thank you!

Someone on the developer forum experienced the same thing and just posted a solution: an alternate kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044824&page=93
Wifi now works as it should.

Weird behaviour since converting back from GPE.

Hi guys,
So I recently converted my phone to a GPE edition with the RUU in order to experience Lollipop.
After a while I missed the Sense features a lot, so I decided to go back to Sense.
I followed the steps in this thread and succesfully flashed the firmware and a stock nandroid. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733523)
I booted up and discovered that root had persisted. I wanted a fully clean Sense wipe, so I decided to do the following.
I installed TWRP, did a factory reset and formatted /system/. I then installed the stock recovery again and flashed the following RUU through the SD-card + hboot method.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/general/htc-one-m8-european-signed-ruu-0p6bimg-t2911563 (the 1.12.401.17 one)
Everything ran succesfully, no errors popped up and the process said "succes, press power to reboot" or something.
I set my phone up again, not restoring from backups and keeping a minimal amount of apps installed. Ever since the RUU flash I have noticed the following things:
-The phone will turn on randomly from sleep. When it's on my desk, even when nothing is prompting it to wake up (no notifications or anything). Like it's responding to phantom wake gestures.
-Music playback will quit at a random point through a song. The music boomsound icon will still display in the status bar but the music player completely quits and the app reloads when opened.
-Apps refresh during use. When i'm using some apps, like the settings or music app, it will "refresh" and scroll back to the top. Not due to excessive ram usage.
-The auto rotate toggle doesn't work. Even with auto rotate disabled, it still rotates to landscape and upside down. I redid the g sensor calibration but didn't help
I experience this issue on every update, and i've updated back up to 4.4.4 sense. Neither a factory reset nor a reflash of the ruu fixes these issues. I'm very certain that the RUU is flashing succesfully.
I looked at memory use and it's sitting at a very modest 800mb out of 1.8Gb.
Anyone have any idea what is happening to my phone?
