[Q] Background Image for Voicemail Icon on Dropdown - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've noticed a small bug and am wondering if anyone has noticed it as well...and (more importantly) knows how to apply the background image that's normally behind the icons on the notification pulldown (see the difference between the Missed Call or Market Updates icons and the Voicemail icon).
Thoughts anyone?...it's minor but annoying as heck to the perfectionist in me...

(and don't hate on the iPad wallpaper...)

Looks like your using a 2.1 or 3.0 rom. Does this happen on a stock ota for the evo? If not, then its a rom issue.

Yeah, its a 2.1 base (MikG)...not sure about stock behavior...I was hoping someone here can chime in...I don't have the ability to flash a stock ROM and leave myself a voicemail to test at the moment

Not everyone is a perfectionist. Sometimes you have to do your own leg work. Like finding the Q/A section. Alot of people both gv and stock. Hopefully someone can help you.

[THEME] |BlacIce| for Racing19969 Skyrocket port

I didnt realy like the blue of the ics look so I began a theme that was just black and white.
This is for Racing19969 skyroket port only I have not tested It on anything else. Not that there is much else to test it on.
This is what I would call a rough draft of a theme I am still getting the hang of themeing ICS so not everytning is the way i would like it yet but it is a work in progress. I just thought i would give everyone some different choices.
Still working on getting all the blue and green out, the charging battery is still blue will get it in the next update and so are alot of the headers Cant find that file yet. Please leave a few ideas on what else to change I may or may not be able to do it but will try.
Instructions :
1. NANDROID BACKUP Always
2. Download Theme.zip via link below.
3. Place .zip on /sdcard
4. Flash via CWM
5. Enjoy!!
You may lose signal after flashing (has happened to me a few times) Just reboot and all will be good.

Completely disable/hide TouchWiz notification toggles?

Does anyone know how to completely hide or disable the built-in TouchWiz notification toggles? I'm on Verizon, and would like to use a third-party toggle set (like Widgetsoid) to customize the notification area, but there doesn't seem to be any built-in way to adjust what's being displayed there.
Any help would be really appreciated - thanks!
Bump. I'd like this as well..

[CM10 DIALER] Need tester(s) for JellyBean dialer (Sprint)

I am still on stock TW but made a quick dialer for CM10 JellyBean (Sprint) and I need someone to test it and tell me how it looks.
Make a backup first just in case then use ES File explorer or similar to copy and paste into system/app
This contacts.apk is from cm-10-20120722-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr.zip release, just in case you need to know, but I believe it should work on all cm10 releases.
Changes you should notice are dialer buttons, contact list picture and in-call contact picture. The Dialer should look similar to stock TW, more or less.
Post screenshots.
downloaded, placed in system apps with root explorer, rebooted. No issues

Pretty cool, however, why the heck can't they allow you to filter My Apps so you just see your purchased ones. And I'm tired of scrolling through hundreds of apps I tried over a year ago! Is it really that hard to allow users to remove apps from their list???

Yes so annoying
How come mine didn't update yet isn't it supposed the same be automatic
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Seems much faster but it could be the placebo effect. Aside from that it looks the same. Curious to see if I ever use the gift card feature. maybe I'll ask for one as an X-mas present.
Just read that the update also adds smart update feature. Now you only download the changed parts of the app, not the whole thing.

NFC beam?

I've tried getting beam to work on several S3s
My friend on stock can't receive anything from me on jellybam. Saying his device doesn't support it. Now heres the *****, he can send me stuff and it says I received something but I can't tell what it is. When I was on stock I was unable to send anything to my sisters stock S3. This feature is totally borked, no matter how I try to use it. Any tips?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
When I receive a pic from my friend on stock it says on my screen that I received some sort of tag. No picture can be shown or found. I dunno how this feature is suppose to work, feels super gimmicky.

Works flawlessly for me and my wife her s3 is stock I have freegs3.

I could be wrong but I believe it's because jellybam is cm10/akop and someone correct me if I'm wrong but most of the features if not all of touchwiz are taken out of cm10/akop

I'm not sure about the jellybam = cm10/aokp but CM is built off code straight from google, no manufacturer specific stuff added (AKA sense, Touchwiz, etc)
