After Relocking Arc, wont enter fastboot mode - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone, I just relocked my arc so that I could update via SEUS. After the update, initially it entered fastboot mode but for some reason fastboot was't working. Now, the Blue LED does not even come on on my phone. It just glows green for a while and thats it.
Anyone with any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance!

after rolocking fastboot will become unavailable.
you should have read a little through the forum.
Fastboot is only available for bootloader unlocked devices
all you can do is re-unlock again using your old key

Did the same. Your original code will unlock it again.

Charging Screen

I recently got my arc unlocked (network-unlocked), and when i try to go into fastboot mode, my phone instead boots up, shows the sony ercisson screen and then shows a battery charging screen. Im trying to get into fastboot mode.
Help?
Are you holding down the menu button before you plug it in? (Rightmost button)
Yes, and im on world generic firmware
Is your boot-loader unlocked?
no, i am trying to get into fastboot in order to unlock it. I am wondering if its my firmware which is blocking fastboot from enabling?

Can you explain? My phone is unlocked, but it wont boot into fastboot(LED doesnt turn blue) so i cant unlock bootloader
Read the guides, if the phone came sim unlocked then its user error somewhere.

Im using this guide: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-unlock-bootloader-xperia-arc-play-neo-pro/
i am just unable to boot into fastboot. All i get in fastboot.exe is < waiting for device >
Go to the first link in my sig, and you'll find a simple method to check if you can unlock in the standard way, try that and report back.

I did that, but i didnt see "bootloader unlock allowed:yes" in configuration, I didnt see anything of that at all. I saw SIM in Sim card, and there was a 0, if that means anything. Also, what firmware should i be on to check this?
I think you'll have to use SETool then, ie remote unlock.

Nvm...flashed the newest firmware and checked it again, bootloader unlock allowed: no

So wait you can't use fastboot?, because if you can try flashing our bootloader and then try the unlockboot loader technique.
You can not because the bootloader Original ics A100 is blocked in fastboot mode screen says "operation not allowed in locked mode" or maybe not appropriate commands
As far as I understand it, Your only hope is using fastboot to flash the unlocked bootloader again. I'm not sure why did you do this, since using custom recoveries require either an unlocked bootloader or some other way to bypass the security.

hello peporras, am i understanding correctly that you are able to access fastboot mode? if this is correct, you should be able to access adb. what exactly did you do to get your tablet where it is now? what exactly is happening when you turn on the tablet? were you rooted and did you have an unlocked bootloader when you got in this situation? let me know and i will do what i can to get you back up and running as soon as possible. good luck
so you flashed the a100 bootloader back to it? Are you able to boot into android? If so, I don't see why you can't install the a200 bootloader like you did before (assuming your rooted). Once you do that, you can unlock it with fastboot.

Ics because it has the last filtered root vache + + wm, if you boot normally in the upper left "verified boot failed" if I boot in recovery "recovery verified failed" and if you can boot into fastboot "bootloader v0.03.11-ICS: STARTING astboot download usb protocol protocol "and is another option that erases user data, I can not access ADB in any way I have a dmsg.test I drew a serial.no when used to work but not APX EEU-FLASH and a pair backup that I did with cwm when it worked I'm sure some way to restore it to and

[Q] Fastboot mode

Wondering, my phone can connect with the blue light and green light. Bootloader unlock is allowd. If i can connect to fastboot (blulight), does that mean that my bootloader is unlocked ?
Is it anyway to test bootloader status ??
From my sexy LT15i
not necessarily... you can connect your device in fastboot without your bootloader unlocked.
if update with pcc work your bootloader is locked. if you have the latest version of firmware try to repair the phone. if it works then your bootloader is locked.(first do a backup of your data)
or try to flash a custom kernel and see if it works...
Kay, going to test tomorrow

Stuck on "Waiting for Device" Arc S

I have recently tried unlocking my bootloader on my Arc S using fastboot with this nice video that taught me how but when i go to put this code in the CMD (fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version) i get something saying "waiting for device"
i dont whats wrong i have ADB installed and everything else to perform this unlock, could anyone please tell me how to fix this problem for the Xperia Arc S thank you
- Bootloader Unlockable: Yes
- Build: 4.0.2.a.0.62
- Version: 2.3.4
I want to unlock my bootloader so i can install custom kernels and also root my phone
Edit: not allowed to link the video due to not enough posts (im new)
Just try with flashtools, search in the forum there are many guides on how to do it, unlock bootloader, root, and flash rom etc.... with flashtools
I had this problem yesterday, the problem I had was the phone was not going in to fastboot mode. Is the light on your phone going blue and staying blue while the screen is black? On mine the light flicked onfor 5 seconds then off and the phone then went into recovery.

G4 Bootloader Relock?

Hi all, I need to relock the bootloader, flashing back stock MM or LP didn't solve the issue for me, neither hard resetting, bootloader is still unlocked and the message appears on every start in the high left corner.
Can You help relock or it's impossible for now please?
It's not possible to relock once it's unlocked. It does tell you this when u unlock it.

thanks for the answer, I did not remember that message. Strange for me that noone found or searched a method to relock for selling the phone :good:
Getting it relocked is the only way to send it back for warranty claim. I wasn't able to get it recognized by my computer so that I can run fastboot comands on it - the right one is ./fastboot oem lock

Did you use the proper fastboot.exe? What OS is your computer? If it's windows try these.
It seems that in order to get fastboot operational, you need to have a working bootloader. So, after a couple (hundred) of tries - DO NOT FLASH KDZ (REFURBISH) your LG G4, it still boots once in a while and if it has your account and data and it will be faster to get to fastboot mode and get the bootloader locked again. Can somebody confirm that you can execute "fastboot oem lock" on an unlocked device? This will save us a lot of time trying to get the device to that state...
for me it is impossibile. If you have a g4 with bootloader locked and you doing fastboot oem unlock it says that it is no possibile...you must follow the instructions that lg provides with file unlock.bin
So is impossibile relock bootloader with fastboot oem lock...I hope that anyone find the way to do it...
Well unfortunately it is not posible to lock the bootloader via "fastboot oem lock" I'm waiting for user @warloxfre for some more info on his ideas (fingerscrossed)
