Please help me. As you can see I'm new here. I was trying to Root my Xperia Play, although I successfully unlocked the bootloader, I can't seem to flash the official ftf, and after that.. my phone got bricked, there's a yellow exclamation point with a Triangle shape when I boot my phone then it shuts off afterwards. please help.

I'm not sure but I think you need to relock your bootloader then flash the ftf file. Boot your phone and then unlock it again and then proceed with rooting.
Again i'm not sure though I think this is the way to recover from your problem. You might be better of to wait for some more qualified person to answer.

There is a way to unbrick your play but it's going to charge you, btw ive bought this package from the guy selling it and it worked. I found it on youtube, he e-mails you the files and instructions check out his vid on how to get the files (but he does charge)

I bricked my phone because I installed the OTA Update from Verizon with an unlocked bootloader.
In any event, one sure way to fix everything and start from scratch is to go and get the Update Service package from SE. It is basically the flash tool that SE uses. Install and run the program and follow the instructions. It will download and install the latest system and take you back to stock, but you'll have to unlock your bootloader again and root.

I had the same problem with flash tool.. I solved it by relocking bootloader and restoring via seus.

You cant flash zip files with flashtool .They must only be flashed with cwm. Is your bootloader unlocked to flash zips?

This type of error may occur if u have not connected ur cell in flash mode properly or the cable is disconnected while it is flashing.. dont connect the phone to PC untill it asks for.. try again, it will be resolved..

2- my arc dont power on more, because dont have kernel I guess
I found SeTools, more I see need Test Point Cable, try with USB with come on phone + paper clip, and install Zeus USB Drive, more SeTools dont Identify my phone for repair

Is your bootloader unlocked?
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
after a few hours off, he returned to take, flash, managed to install the kernel and android again, only the battery that ended, more is already turning and charging, thanks to everyone who contributed!
i used Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf to unroot my phone,
now when i try to turn it on it only vibrate one time and gives a small green led bling.
connecting to pc works but it only shows a connected phone with the pc companion.
plzzzz help, tried to flash to LT15_LT18_64_Baseband.ftf but still no luck.
i had Arconium 8.2 with doomkernel installed.

I would assume locking the boot loader would mean the custom kernel won't work, so flash a stock ftf, and one that is NOT a Baseband but an actual ROM.

so im getting error.
when i turn on phone i see a sony logo ,then a triangle board with an ! and a phone under it.
Also tried installing baseband 77 then i see the old sony ericsson splash screen and phone keeps rebooting.
