[Q] Viber for android not working on Wildfier S - HTC Wildfire S

Hi Guys did any one have the chance to run Viber for Android on the Wildfire S?
If so please tell me how.

Works fine on mine, installed just like any other app from the market.

I did the same download from market and install it but it can not continue for activation it cant receive the activation code threw SMS and the other solution from the site did not work any one know what to do knowing that it was successful to get the program working on the sensation.
Problem solved and it was related to service provider not the Wildfire S it was due to moving from one service provider to another one with the same phone number

Mine's OK.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e from somewhere in Pluto.

it might be the huge blue letters that are keeping it from working. IDK

[Q] Unable to send and receive MMS

I just recently purchased the Desire and the same night I rooted my phone with unrevoked. Since then I have been unable to send and receive MMS. Some of my coworkers who got new phones the same day and didn't touch them are able to receive MMS. My question is, do you think that this is because I rooted it, or chance it is a problem with my phone? If it is a problem with the phone, do I have to unroot it before bringing it in to my service provider or do you think they wouldn't notice?
Prob be something to do with the root. Just flash a stock Froyo rom and it should be alright. Just make sure you do a nandroid backup first just to be safe
I had the same issue with my Desire, but managed to fix it just yesterday.
Find the homepage for your provider and they normally have a guide for setting up MMS, which is, normally in the case of HTC Desire, automatic. But if you try see the manual set-up for non-supported phones and you enter those values/data, it's all gravy again
Sounds like a pretty common problem with small providers. I tried looking around and was unable to find any settings on the website...
Try see if you can Google it. I noticed that there are sites which are dedicated to collecting all the settings of different providers (definitely here in DK) and making them accessible in tables.

Man...I've been trying to find it but I can't....I have cellcom (usa-Wisconsin) maybe someone else can help me locate something.

Okay, I also tried seeing if I could find the settings for cellcom in the States and no luck: just Israel. Also not a very informative webpage for cellcom either.
If you don't want to unroot your phone etc. I would think contacting the company by mail and asking for the manual settings might pay off. I'm pretty sure this is the issue as mms and internet settings are automatically set-up for each phone model in some providers and rooting might have removed the settings from identifying it as an HTC Desire, though I have no way to be sure.
So you should receive a reply with the MMS proxy and port, the MMSC and APN.
It definitely worked for me.
Hope it all works out!

Sell a Desire HD with Premium Navigation?

Hello,
I have a Desire HD and a Perpetual/lifetime Premium Navigation license from HTC. I understand that the licence is linked to the IMEI number and therefore HTC will not allow a license transfer to a new phone.
I am now looking to sell my Desire HD though. If I cannot transfer the license to a new phone, does anyone know if I can sell the phone and let the new owner havePremium navigation license?
Thanks,
Craig.
Does anyone know about this one? If the license is linked to the phone's IMEI rather than an account, I guess the new owner of the phone would automatically aquire the ability to use Premium navigation.
Try it for yourself, try another simcard +sd card, then you know it

Thanks, but I don't have another SIM card and I doubt anyone is going to let me take the SD card from their phone to let me download stuff onto it. I was hoping that someone might have experience from selling their own phone after buying a premium Nav license.
How did you buy it? is it not linked to your google account like most apps?

No, I bought it (as far as I can remember) directly through the HTC locations app.
It is synchronized with phone's serial number. It goes with your phone.

An update for for everyone's info: Today HTC informed me that the previous advice given to me over the telephone was wrong. If the license was purchased through the HTC Locations app (as opposed to the Route66 website), they will transfer it to a new phone without problems. They confirmed this by transfering my licence to my HTC Sensation.

Just one final update as I missed a couple of PM's asking me for more info...
In order to transfer your license Premium Navigation license from one phone to another you need:
1) to be sure that you bought the licence via the HTC locations app (not on the route66 website)
2) Contact HTC via the email support link on their website (I used the UK site). After the mail is sent through their online form, you'll receive a confirmation mail with a helpdesk ticket number and link (only needed for if HTC ask for more info)
3) In your message, Include the Phone model, IMEI and telephone number of BOTH your old and new phones (not just the details of the new one). Keep the mail as short and clear as possible and you should get a quick answer during weekdays.
Good luck,
Craig.

[Q] I have an O2 phone and need help with delivery reports.

Hello I have a GiffGaff sim (o2) and I do not get delivery reports, it works when I add *0# to the start of every message but I hate doing that such a pain. I was wondering is there a way It can automatically be inserted or how do I go about enabaling reports? The phone settings have it enabled just need the other end doing.
Was told to use Delivery Reporter + or something, yeh I hate it :L so is there another way?
Thanks.
Hey pal. Same issue here. Even when I have it enabled on the giffgaff website I only get them every now and again. I'm yet to find a solution
