Blue dialer Lightning 5 - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

I searched all threads but didn't find any blue dialer working with Lite'ning Rom V5.0, and that's a pity cause V5 is blue except the hugly green and orange dialer. Even blue dialers for XKG6 do not work on this rom...
So I made it myself and edited all the png's in the apk. Here it is ! Enjoy
Blue png were made by esk02k (all credits for him )
Put the apk on your sd card. With Root explorer copy and paste it in /system/app (save the old one before and overwrite it), set permissions on rw-r--r-- and that's it !

Works for me

It keeps telling me that the dialer is not installed if I want to open it? Any solutions? I set the permissions right.
When I replace it with the original Contacts.apk it works.

After having change the Contacts.apk, reboot in Clockworkmod, then go to advance, and wipe your Dalvik cache. Reboot and then it should work perfectly

YES ! I'm on V6.1 now and it works perfectly. Install process is the same (root explorer /system/app bla bla...).
I will probably upload a new completely blue version, because for now, there are still green and others coloured picture when incoming a call. But the blue dialer... is blue

This blue dialer mod works also with Leomar, Cognition, and Batista ROMS. Tested and perfect !

Dialler is fantastic..
err.. any chance of a red dialer...
to go with Red Lite'ning Theme v2.0
.. or even better a point me in the direction of where I can learn to do my own

drag the icons to the TWlauncher (Phone,contacts,massages,internet) from the dock bar
you need to enable debugging mode, then CWM -->Clear cache --> Advance -->clear Dalvic cache
then Flash

Steel Blue v3.1?
There is 2 versions, 1 for Darky's and 1 for CM7
Careful not to use the wrong 1

Hey, i asked this already but didnt receive any answer:
so its possible to flash Capative Themes over the I9000?
Is it always the same, just remove the bootanimation.zip? (Why so?)

remove the bootanimation.zip by root explorer~
then go to clear cache and dalvik cache ~
then flash the theme~
-if not work~
then try to reboot ur phone see
if still didnt work~ then try to flash few time~
tis work for me~

Generation X v2.0 works well with Darky's ROM v9.5!

Just flashed PFC Anzo JS8 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870076.
But install the recommended Phone.apk from the link on page 8, "First, install this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967297."
I deleted boot animation using Root Explorer and also did a cache partition wipe and Dalvik cache wipe.
This theme works perfectly for me.

Look through the theme directory (link in my sig) for themes listed as compatible with 9.5. It's as simple as that....

[THEME MINI] Litening rom v3.0 to v4.2 (Status bar and setting).

First I would like to thank litepro for his amazing rom and team and second to all the designers for the status bar and setting. I will not take any credits for their hard work.

This is just a mini theme version, anything related to litening battery will not work due to different framework.apk file which will affect the rom to cause it to freeze or infinite boot loop.

I think it should work as well as it does not affect the framework, but i'm not 100% sure as i haven't tested on vr rom. I would advice u to backup first before replacing files, if it work for u, let me know n i'ill update the post title. Cheers!

I cannot get it to take hold.

I will check whether I can make it in dpi, but the kernel should support that. Anyway let me come b back tomorrow. Started work on multi dpi, need to work on some xml files.

it does works with the other ROMS too...But the top layer of the dialer such as keypad, logs, contacts...goes with the TURKBEY theme. If you dont mind that, then you can flash. Make sure you take the backup of exisitng contacts.apk file from system/app. I will write a script to restore the original soon.

Today I like to share with you my S4 theme-mods that I've made for the Galaxy S3. These mods will give you the Fresh-White feel and look of the Samsung Galaxy S4 theme. I tried my best to make them look the same as the S4 theme in every single aspect. Quick Description:
Apks modded to have white themes like the S4.

Edited most xmls to look the same as the S4.

4. Reboot you phone and enjoy!

6. White S4 SecPhone:
Here comes an interesting part! The S4 Phone dialer is almost impossible to port to the apk of 4.1.2 because the S4 has several .pngs for each dialer button while the Note consists of one dialer background only. So, I decided to make my own S4 Dialer. I used some S4 dialer pngs and then I used Gimp and after hours of work I was able to create a Dialer that looks almost the same as the S4 dialer.:victory:
Note: The dialer is included in SecContacts.apk. So, if you only used the SecPhone.apk please download the SecContacts.apk because they are interelated.
How to install:
1.Do a nandroid backup.
2. Download the .apk and place it in it's correct location (system/app).(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the SecPhone.odex first)
3. Set the permissions to rw-r-r.
4. Reboot your phone and enjoy!.

7. White S4 ClockPackage: (Alarm, Timer, StopWatch...)
How to install:
1.Do a nandroid backup.
2. Download both apks bellow. Place ClockPackage.apk in its proper location (system/app) and place twframework-res.apk in system/framework.(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the ClockPackage.odex first)
3. Set the permissions to rw-r-r for both apks.
4.Reboot your phone and enjoy!

8. White S4 SecSettings:
In this SecSettings, I tried to make it look as much as I could as the S4 Settings. So, as you can notice in the illustrations bellow, I included all S4 Settings icons, .pngs, .9.pngs, and the HD images of the S4. As for the text colors i tried to fix most text colors and change them to the S4 text colors. Also, some Settings are interrelated to other apks that I've made. So, for example, if you want white "Mobile Networks" Settings, then you have to install the white SecPhone.apk above. Another example is that if you want to get white Account and Sync settings in SecContacts, then you have to install the white SecSettings. I believe you got my point!:highfive:

I tried to make our calculator look as the S4 calculator but unfortunately, the S4 calculator is structured (xml wise) differently from a 4.1.2 calculator. So, I just themed our Note calculator to white and changed the text colors to S4 text colors.

2. Download the .apk and place it in it's correct location (system/app).(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the SecCalculator2.odex first)
3. Set the permissions to rw-r-r.
4. Reboot your phone and enjoy!.

10.White S4 Multiwindow:
I already did an S4 Multiwindow Thread , so if you want the white multiwindow, visit my thread S4 Multiwindow Thread where you can download the Stock White S4 Multiwindow, or Transparent S4 Multiwindows, or S4 Multiwindows with Custom text colors. Visit it, you won't regret
11. White S4 Keyboard:
The S4 keyboard is different from the Note 2 white keyboard in many aspects. For example, the upper number row is light grey while in the Note 2 it is deep grey. Also, the icons on the keyboard of the S4 are deep grey while on the Note 2 they are deep-blue. So, In this keyboard I made it almost the same as the S4 keyboard and included White keyboard settings and white shadowed text like in the S4 and many other modifications.
How to install:
1.Do a nandroid backup.
2. Download the .apk and place it in it's correct location (system/app).(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the SamsungIME.odex first)
3. Set the permissions to rw-r-r.
4. Reboot your phone and enjoy!.

Great work but the text in the SMS bubbles is far too close to the left edge of the bubble and sometimes overlaps. Other than this its amazing and would love a fix for that.

Believe me my friend, the black background version is almost the same as the stock S3 black theme. So, you'll not have any noticeable differences and many images of the white S4 theme are not used in the black s4 theme!

Thanks pal! Yeah the dialer is very nice and I tried my best to create a dialer using gimp that is almost the same as the S4 and this was the result!

Thanks!! Mmmm yeah I noticed this bug! I beleive it is caused by the size of the S4 bubbles! I'll see if I can fix that!

Thanks mate! I am glad that you like it! This is so weird, the SecPhone has nothing to do with the flashlight! You mean the flash light or the led light notification? Anyway, I don't know if a wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache might help your here! Please report if this issue continues!

thank you for your answer. I already tried wiping cache and dalvik cache but that didn't help. Also I tried installing your white SecPhone.apk on clean ROM and then I don't have that issue that I reported. So, it seems that the issue is related to one of my apps or mod (but not a single app or mod is related to phone app or flash light). I also try many other things on my current ROM with my apps and data untouched and I always get the issue with Flash light. So, I didn't resolve it and I will do some more research on that. And is there anybody else with that problem too?
And about issue - I mean the Flash light next to camera - it start to blink when someone call me.

The white interface is good but I'm interested to know if there are some possibilities to have a grey / dark-grey interface. Is there a mod to do something like that?

[MOD] Elegant White Galaxy S4 Theme [More Coming]

6. White S4 SecPhone:
Here comes an interesting part! The S4 Phone dialer is almost impossible to port to the apk of 4.1.2 because the S4 has several .pngs for each dialer button while the 4.1.2 dialer consists of one dialer background only. So, I decided to make my own S4 Dialer. I used some S4 dialer pngs and then I used Gimp and after hours of work I was able to create a Dialer that looks almost the same as the S4 dialer.:victory:
Note: The dialer is included in SecContacts.apk. So, if you only used the SecPhone.apk please download the SecContacts.apk because they are interelated.
How to install:
1.Do a nandroid backup.
2. Use a root browser to determine the location of your apk (It is usually located in System/app or in Preload).
3. Download the .apk and place it in it's correct location.(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the SecPhone.odex first)
4. Set the permissions to rw-r-r.
5. Reboot your phone and enjoy!.

7. White S4 ClockPackage: (Alarm, Timer, StopWatch...)
How to install:
1.Do a nandroid backup.
2. Use a root browser to determine the location of your apk (It is usually located in System/app or in Preload).
3. Download both apks bellow. Place ClockPackage.apk in its proper location and place twframework-res.apk in system/framework.(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the ClockPackage.odex first)
4. Set the permissions to rw-r-r for both apks.
5.Reboot your phone and enjoy!

twframework-res.apk(You need the twframework-res.apk to get the white S4 scrollbar)
8. White S4 SecSettings:
In this SecSettings, I tried to make it look as much as I could as the S4 Settings. So, as you can notice in the illustrations bellow, I included all S4 Settings icons, .pngs, .9.pngs, and the HD images of the S4. As for the text colors i tried to fix most text colors and change them to the S4 text colors. Also, some Settings are interrelated to other apks that I've made. So, for example, if you want white "Mobile Networks" Settings, then you have to install the white SecPhone.apk above. Another example is that if you want to get white Account and Sync settings in SecContacts, then you have to install the white SecSettings. I believe you got my point!:highfive:

2. Use a root browser to determine the location of your apk (It is usually located in System/app or in Preload).
3. Download the .apk and place it in it's correct location.(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the SecCalculator2.odex first)
4. Set the permissions to rw-r-r.
5. Reboot your phone and enjoy!.

10.White S4 Multiwindow:
I already did an S4 Multiwindow Thread , so if you want the white multiwindow, visit my thread White S4 Multiwindow Thread where you can download the Stock White S4 Multiwindow, or Transparent S4 Multiwindows, or S4 Multiwindows with Custom text colors.
11. White S4 Keyboard:
The S4 keyboard is different from the Note 2 white keyboard in many aspects. For example, the upper number row is light grey while in the Note 2 it is deep grey. Also, the icons on the keyboard of the S4 are deep grey while on the Note 2 they are deep-blue. So, In this keyboard I made it almost the same as the S4 keyboard and included White keyboard settings and white shadowed text like in the S4 and many other modifications.
Note: The White Keyboard on the S2 does not support the number row on the top! Theses screenshots of the keyboard where taken on my Galaxy Note device!
How to install:
1.Do a nandroid backup.
2. Use a root browser to determine the location of your apk (It is usually located in System/app or in Preload).
3. Download the .apk and place it in it's correct location.(If you are on Odexed rom, then delete the SamsungIME.odex first)
4. Set the permissions to rw-r-r.
5. Reboot your phone and enjoy!.

edit : i have made an aroma ZIP for all APKs from here , there is an option to return to your base rom too, mine is Wanam, so all original apks in /base/ are from Wanam rom. you can relpace with yours in /base/ folder ZIP before flash my CWM ZIP, so you can reflash to return your base if Elegant theme doesnt please you

Sory, its done but @Winterlove doesnt give me permission, apks are still in dev . i'm afraid that my zip have to manage odexed rom too....and some other things, like place of APKs in zip , /preload/ or /system/ 4.1.2 rom folder...but soon...i hope an aroma available.

I'm not a purist of functionalities , my phone can SMS, contacts, and phone, that's all for me. All rest is development test enjoy. it's why i permit to provide a CWM FullInOne shared package aroma zip.
The final idea is to make an aroma for each apk choice one by one ticked, it could take some more time.
and we certainly want to manage odexed rom too, and position of all apk in roms @Winterlove wants to "touch" ... more details are coming.
