Then google it, install and run it to the point it asks you to put the phone in flash mode, then SEUS should install drivers, then report back.

is seus Sony Ericsson update service?

You have to install SEUS on your PC...

You need to have both SEUS and PC Companion installed on your PC before attempting to flash any firmware using FlashTool.

[Q] Flashtool won't recognise my Xperia Play

Hi, I just bought my R800i last week and I want to upgrade it to 2.3.4.
I read all of the guide and then download flashtool(2.8, 2.9 and last version 3.0) to try it.
My phone won't recognised from Flashtool no matter what I try to change or which flashtool version I used...
I tried reinstall driver again and again and still no luck..
Anyone know how to fix this? I found one thread that similar to mine which the case is fixed but he didn't give any information about how he fixed it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1304357

This is showing inside the log. And I also installed the Gordon Gate driver on my PC
Install the drivers in the flashtool drivers folder. Press flash in flashtool. Next it will say to plug in your phone to your pc while holding back on the phone.
Isn't flashmode for xperia play is Search button not the Back? And I already install drivers from flashtool folder.

Please help me, im really sad... sorry for my english ...
Which phone do you have exactly R800i or x? And were do you have downloaded the firmware?
Sent from the best gaming phone on the world.
Why did you use brick fix? you only use that if you mess a kernel flash up, or update ota with an unlocked bootloader, Try flashing http://www.mediafire.com/?lojlw6bffm7alv1
oh and when you try to turn it on do you feel a vibrate or hear a buzz? if so you just have a software brick.
So just flash http://www.mediafire.com/?lojlw6bffm7alv1 follow the instructions, if you don't understand them very well use this tut: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20151540
All the best, let me know if you fix it.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO SAVE MY PHONE? (
First of all, it isnt broken, this has happened to me many times, please remove then insert your battery, then power the device on, it should vibrate, this is normal, leave it for a few minutes & it should boot.....
But if it does not, download & install Sony PC Companion (google it) select update software & their should be an option to repair your device software, follow the onscreen instructions & you should be fine

Holding back and plugging it in will make the phone turn to flash mode, therefore can be recognised by the flashtool. Speaking in caps doesn't help, in fact it kinda irritates me. :/

I tried, but when the program said me connect the cellphone in flashmode i do, but the cellphone turn on after 5 second...
Do not panic.
Even if the battery will die, you can always buy an external charger for the battery(on ebay, search for "battery lt26i) and disassembly your phone (youtube tutorials) extract the battery and recharge it externally.
then you can try whatever.
Anyway, try different drivers pack (i know there are at least 2), and try with FASTBOOT and a tft rom, or at least a kernel.
good luck.
EDIT: i recall it occurred to me the same thing: Try this way. Turn off your phone pressing the start button with the volume up button. you will feel one vibration. keep both button pushed, until it will vibrate for 3 times. then plug the phone pressing the volume button for entering flashmode, and keep it pushed for the whole operation.
Another thing to be sure of, wait for the program to ask for the device (file preparation completed and popup window asking to plug in the phone) before actually plug it in.
If you can enter in recovery mode try wipe battery stat en reboot
thank you but no, when i connect the cellphone flashtool says

Connect your phone in fastboot mode. Push the Menu button and connecte the usb cable maintaining the menu button. And the led should turn blue. And here you go, fastboot mode flash.

Unbricking cannot be done in fastboot mode.
To OP: redownload the file, seems like the FTF is corrupted.
Sent from LT18i with custom firmware by myself.
Download the whole firmware, connect your device on flashmode, by keeping on pressed the back button and connect it, then flash the .ftf file.

What was happened is: I left the phone (Arc S LT18i) and friend of mine tried to flash with ftf files (because yesterday we stuck with SONY LOG) BUT somehow he flashed "mk16i_4.1.B.0.431_ready to root" and now device is shown is EXPERIA PRO (mk16i) .....
we can't flash any other ftf files e.g. "LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_(1254-2184))" or "lt18i_4.1.B.0.431_ready to root" - phone gets into flashmode but if we try to flash it shows ERROR and stops flushing:

Is it a problem with flashtool itself?...
Got lost really...
I think that you've installed adb drivers only for arc/s, now that you've flashed Xperia pro firmware, so you need to install drivers for that and try again and report back.
