I've got an XTC Clip available for use in the Knoxville, TN area. If anyone is interested respond to the post and we'll work out the details. Unfortunately I would not be able to travel to meet up, but the use is free. All I ask is pass along the word to anyone in the area who may be in need as well.

If you want something from someone here such as an xtc clip, its probably best not to demand it but rather ask for the help. I know where you're comming from though, but remeber that good things come to those who wait.

Kylesag21 and I are thinking about getting a group together to buy a clip. We found a clip for around $70 on ebay (pretty sure its unlimited credits). Yeah, they are ripping people off on the challenge, but if you have a crap smart phone laying around you can swap it out for a $600 windows phone. Pretty good deal.
Just took the challenge in Oakbrook, IL. I was #3 in line, took about 20 min no phones in stock got gift card and have to wait for a phone call to pick up the new one. Worth it fo sho

Thanks sense for clarifying,I'd like for local people to get together and help each other out.talk android come up with ideas.this hopefully would give people a better "hands on" approach to there device. For example I helped gronimo1981 root his phone and add custom recovery. Sometimes how to videos still get confusing.watching someone do it add a sense of security when we all start as noobs.seriously are phones aren't cheap so we get nervous.add your gtalk to the post and we all can talk and work on meeting up..thanks...

Just out of curiosity, I am wondering if anyone here plays Ingress at all and if so, what faction. If you are not playing, it's an incredibly fun game, IMO. Plus, for us old people with slowing metabolism, it makes you walk a lot.

@toprock It's that good. It's easily the most fun game I have played on a mobile phone due to it's interactive nature. I think Google did a great job with it. The only downside is that while still in Beta, there are some major kinks to work out. Today for example I couldn't do anything because of some server issues they were having. Seems to happen fairly often.
@Cowfodder That really sucks. It's always a bummer when someone cheats in any game.
