SGSII weather widget and GO Launcher EX - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

I tried to use SGSII weather widget in GO Launcher EX and it works fine but I cant change the size of the widget like it is possible in TW launcher 4.5.
Is there another way to change the size of the widget? Maybe to change some values in some file?
Thanx in advance for help!
Best regards, Seky

Same here, only that i use tw3. I like sgs II weather widget but the default size sucks.

(Q) Samsung Galaxy S2 weather+clock widget

Hi guys, I like this widget but everything i found was only for S2 or ACE...do you know any widget just like this that works on our Blades? I know there is this skin for Beautiful widgets but i dont want to use it...Thnx for answers
You must be talking about the DigitalClock Widget and the Accuweather widget. Pretty easy to install. I'll give you apks once I'm back home...
Yep, exactly thanks a lot
Swyped from my ZTE Blade
1) Flash Touchwiz_framework.zip in Recovery.
2) Push twframework-res.apk to /system/framework/ with permissions rw-r-r. If its already there, skip this step.
3) Install DigitalClock.apk like a regular apk.
4) Try installing SamsungWidget_WeatherClock(4x1).apk like a normal apk, if that doesn't work, just push it to /system/app/ and set permissions to rw-r-r.
5) Reboot, use the widget picker and LOL you know...
Edit: Files Removed
thanks so much
Has anyone tried the above technique
Isn't the below screenshot enough evidence for u?
BTW the files have been removed, but I will make my first custom MOD, where I will integrate all these things...
Someone have weather and clock widget of s2?

Go launcher not showing stock s3 weather widget

Guys i installed go launcher and i like it very much
But yhe thing is it doesbt show up stock weather widget
When i turn off go launcher and use touchwiz the weather widget is there and in go launcher it doesnt show up
Pls help

This widget needs Touchwiz Framework and Touchwiz Launcher to work. That's the reason why it doesn't work on any other launcher.
This is common among devices with proprietory uis

Sorry, but it does work on the SGS2 with Go Launcher. Are you sure we cant make it work on the SGS3?
Since you already use go launcher, why not try go weather ex from the market? I haven't used it myself, but it looks promising.

I know the feeling. Its a beautiful widget but it doesnt work on Go, Apex or Nova etc. I have tried. There may be a way but so far not broken.
Guys, I'm telling you I have it working on an S2. Here's the screen capture, you can see the widget above and the left-button Go Launcher menu at the bottom.
There's got to be a way to make it work on the S3.

What works on your s2 is irrelevant. Its most likely an updated version on your s3 with new code, probably specifically designed only to work with touchwiz. If it doesn't show up in go launcher then it doesn't work. Its as simple as that

That is old Accuweather widget, the new S3 version won't work with any others launcher at the moment.
Ok, so -for the moment- could someone post the S2 version of the widget apk? That would solve the problem, wouldn't it?

It depends. Did that widget work on other devices such as HTC? If yes, then yes. If no then maybe not.
Download a s2 touchwiz custom rom and extract the apk to find out

OP ask for S3 Accuweather widget not S2 Accuweather widget, both is different. S2 Accuweather widget is so ugly compare with this new S3 one.
I do hoping someone can make the S3 Accuweather working for launcher others than stock TouchWiz.
Fancy widgets is my preferred option even over beautiful widgets.
S3 widget is nicer, but I'd settle for the S2 one. For the moment.
Try "beautiful widgets" it's a highly customizable weather widget.
My favorite...
beautiful widget doesn,t have such beautiful accu weather,,, i am missing it on apex launcher, i hope someone will port

Ok, here's the S2 apk. It won't install on my S3. Bummer.
Try push it to system/app

I would need root for that, right?

It's already in system/app. How do I start it? If I tap the apk directly, it just tries to install itself.
Everyone who keeps naming all these launchers that are already known must not have seen the new widget on the s3. That widget is the sole purpose I'm keeping tw launcher for now, it's visually better than any other weather widget PERIOD. Praying someone modifies this to work on other launchers

[Q] S planner widget on nova launcher

Guys, is there any possible way to make s-planner widget work in nova launcher home screen? I'm using stock deodexed rom btw...
Thanks
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Sorry, but you can't. S-Planner widgets belong to TouchWiz... Or as far as I know. It's launcher specific. Not application specific.
So s-planner is only for twlauncher... I thought maybe some devs could port it or do something to make it work on 3rd party launcher..

: Bueno:: Bueno: so is the funds are managed by the system is not the launcher
If you mean a different wallpaper for each homescreen then search for multi picture live wallpaper in the play store. Wont work for separate laumchers though.

CM11 Trebuchet customization

I've problem with trebuchet widget.
When I try to place dashclock widget on the homescreen its displaying 3x1 widget size, instead of 4x1 widget size. Plus, trebuchet unable to resize most of the widget so i cannot make dashclock centered on the homescreen.
I got this problem on some widget. Do you guys have a workaround about this?
Edit: the problem is because i use 200 dpi..
So is there anyway to fix it on 200dpi??

You can try this other launcher -> http://www15.zippyshare.com/v/18126339/file.html
It's the same than Terbuchet, but more customizable... good luck!
Still buggy

you guys should try using google now launcher, and installing "xgels" from playstore. You will need xposed installed but it allows you to customize Google launcher in a lot of ways. It's perfect for me
