I have been searching everywhere for information about what to do in with my 3g (3.2) unrooted stock Xoom. I would like to get rooted and install Tia. Can I follow the wifi instructions? I imagine the kernal is different!

Ebay'd a DInc. which shipped w/S-OFF, Rooted .92 & Froyo. Don't have permissions for Dev section for these questions but want to put a Stable Rooted & Sence'd GB ROM on my GF DInc. w/GB radio before I put it on PagePlus.
1) Is the below link still relevant for Stock+?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20238935&postcount=5
2) Is there still an active Link for the Radio for GB ROM? Where?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227215
3) Is there a better Stock Sence'd GB ROM available?

Let me know if this should be posted somewhere else.
Thanks in advance!
I'm on my way to work so I can't do the proper links I would normally do. For radios, you can download them from here:
pvillecomp.com
You can get all those files here http://dinc.does-it.net.
Also as an alternative to stock+ check out my rom touch of blue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1492720
Got it
Thanks for the above guys.
I ended up grabbing the Radio from pvillecomp.com.
Sorry cmlusco I've already got Stock+ running and configured for her. If I run into some stability issues with it though I'll check out your touch of blue ROM, looks pretty slick.
Let me know if this should be posted somewhere else.

You do not want to start new threads in the development section asking questions, they belong right here where you asked it or in the question section. You can also post a question in a thread already started in development asking a question about that specific ROM, Script or MOD.
I just need to be placed in the correct direction. I would like to update the firmware on my rooted, stock rom, at&t S3 to the latest version.
I am currently running CWM_v3.0.7. I have attached a screen shot of my current device information.
Could someone please link me to the correct informational thread?
Thank you in advance!

I am on phone so expect errors
Why don't you just flash the latest version through cwm?. It's not going to be ota but it should only take a few min. There is a sticky in the AT&T gs3 dev section. IMO your better off not updating to that version. It's pretty much just the dumbed down search. FYI next time you have a question post in the q&a section.

Questions never belong in Development.

You can either flash the LG1 root-injected Odin package as described here or flash the OTA using CWM as described here.
If you do flash through Odin, you'll probably want to revert the Google Search widget to restore Universal Search. The old APK is in the OP of that thread.
I am new with rooting and modifying my phone.
I first root the phone, then install AOKP Task650 (Android 4.2.2) Kernel 3.4.49-Underwear and Version is "d2att (4.2.2 JDQ39) Build 6.24.2013
after that i install rom manager, google apps, and everything is working perfectly EXCEPT wifi.
it is very weird cause wifi Turn On/Off button is nor clicklable; it is there, but when i turn on it is transparent grey and after couple seconds, it become solid grey.
I searched and find that if i replace /system/bin "wpa_supplicant" with one on other sites, it might work, and it is not working?
I looked everywhere, either i am stupid and dont know how to find or there is a specific things to look; if you guys can help me it will be great.
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Ok first of all, you're not in the right forum. This is for the Sprint S3, not Verizon.
Second of all, why are you flashing a rom made for the AT&T variant? That's why you're losing wifi, nothing to do with the rom itself.
Even though they are the same phone, there are differences between the carrier variants, so go find your device's forum and stick to flashing roms posted there.
EDIT: Nvm, that is the d2att. You should still post in your own forums though.
Please use the correct forum. You have a Verizon phone, you tried to flash an ATT rom and you posted in the Sprint forums. Try here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37038544

I'm looking for help enabling bluetooth tether on my stock, unrooted t999 running JB. Is this the only way? If so, does anyone mind walking me through it? I was quite an expert on Windows Mobile, but now I'm still learning the under hood side of Android.
I have also unlocked and moved to AT&T. Obviously I've lost wifi calling. Is there anything else I should know or do with the t999?
Dove in and installed a rom with bluetooth tether server built in. Now I've discovered that my Nexus 7 2013 doesn't have the client side. I think reverting it to JB may solve that.
Just make sure you read the sticky threads, and any relevant q&a threads as well. One thing to be careful of is if updated to 4.3 firmware you cannot downgrade or you'll brick. You can flash older roms and kernels, but not the full firmware.
Hello to all. I left my rooteed note 4 at an Oreileys and someone got it. I have a activated Sprint S6 and I am looking for a stable rom with hotspot turn on.
Does ANYONE have knowledge of a stable bare bone ROM suggestion? I will research the rooting procedure as how to. I was going to leave the S6 stock.
Any And All Help Is Greatly Appreciated
Blessings

First and foremost - you posted this in the wrong section. Questions & Answers would have been the appropriate place.
Now since that's out of the way.. Renegade is a good ROM, and hotspot works. A full and debloated version is available. There is always a flashable zip to enable hotspot on stock as well. Xposed and most goodies work on both odex and deodex now. You can refer to the Android Development section for said device for these items (which is what you posted in.)
There is also a Guide for root and files located in General by koop1955. I advise giving that a read. Good luck.
