How do I get hbo go load onto EG22? it dosnt show up in the market. Anyone have a zip to flash?
You can look for the .apk on google, download, and install it

I tried that method on ef02 and couldn't get it to play. I think since we officially don't have gingerbread it won't work because of the way it checks the device our something like that.

I had no problems with EF02 and confirm it works with EG22. I have attached the copy I use.

[DEPRECIATED] I'll work on getting Stock EL29 up soon.
Well, there was a thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1270232
But it appears the link is down. So, for anyone else that wants it I've edited a stock framework and you can grab it below. What does it do? It is completely stock framework other then the fact that the CRT screen off animation is enabled. Push it to system/framework.

This is a zip file? Is it flashable through CWM?

When I try to put it in the system/framwork folder, there already is a file named framework-res.apk and I cannot get rid of it. What should I do? I'm rooted of course

I downloaded using the link in the OP. Used Root Explorer to rename the existing APK inside system/framework , then pasted the DLd apk in its place.
Immediately Titanium Backup hit me with an FC, then Market. I rebooted.
When my phone came up all of my sync accounts were gone, including my Market gmail account. Smart Keyboard Pro is gone as the default and Swype is back. Etc.
That'll learn me to Nandroid first.

On the Verizon model, there IS NO "phone.apk" in the System/App folder. There is a "SecPhone.apk", but making changes to it makes you lose your Verizon service, both voice and data.

How did you install it? Did you use adb and push it to /system/app? Did you use root explorer and copy it to /system/app and then edit the permissions appropriately? Or did you just open the apk to install?
This is for CM9 users only.

do you mean when sending? if you do then go into settings and it lets you transfom a large message into mms which let the receiver receive it all in one...
If you mean when you receive it ... then let me know when you find out..

What? Don't understand your statement.
I know it's not much of a test but I sent myself a video mms and it worked fine.
Edit: BTW, if you're trying to send a camera pic, I'm sure there is still some size limitations in place.
And if it's not app related, certainly the Carrier will block/resize or limit mms sizes as well.
I can verify one thing that's wonky. If you click on your own contact picture in messaging, where it would take you to the respective field IN contacts, alas hangs up for a mo', then it force closes instead (contacts), and kicks you out of the message thread.

Also, I can verify pictures send for me. I'm on credo mobile, but carrier shouldn't matter for this mod.
EDIT: pictures also coming in successfully =)
Also, probably because it IS AOSP messaging, neither counter on message icon works nor message notifier on lock screen. Though I'm not sure if it's enabled with Ripple as I have it off today.

Yes, that is how the permissions are set. I notice that every app in that app folder has an odex file to go along with the .apk. do i perhaps need one of those files too?
