Possible to Ring Whilst Playing Song & Other Ringer Can Hear It?
just wondering is this possible as it would be handy for me to allow a caller on the other end to listen to something being played like voice recordings ect whilst speaking.
thanks

I have a question that I know I am going to feel dumb for asking. Is there anyway to silence all sounds, both system and rings, except WMP? I love to listen to music on my ophone through my stereo and everything is fine until I get an email, text, or especially a phone call. I have tried turning the ringer off and leaving the system sounds, but the text and email sounds still come through. Hearing my text message tone right in ther middle of a KoRn song is quite irritating . Thanks in advance for all the help!!
Hey everyone, quick question. I recently starting using Pandora and notice that when Im listening to Pandora and get a text message or email, the music pauses for a few seconds to let the notification sound. Is there a way to not let this happen? Thanks
Pandora has always been like that. As are most apps, they lower the volume to allow the notification tone go through and than jump back to full volume. I don't think there's a way to change that. Just be glad your Pandora doesn't auto change songs every 45s after a 'taste' of every song because the update has an issue with a rom.
just turn down notifications sounds to vibrate or silent, no interruptions
Hi, when playing music through my headset (included with the One X), with the stock player and standard notification sounds, my One X mutes the music and sounds the notification sound, but also 1 or 2 seconds the music plays through the phone speaker and after that just normal through the headset. And when I get a call, the music mutes and I hear nothing at all, as long I don't answer the call. Haven't tested if the ringtone plays through te speaker though.
Anyone know what kind of problem this is? Beats Audio?
I've experienced BT anomalies on many Android phones in the past, but nothing as bad as this.
T-Mobile S4- Streaming Bassdrive.com via XiiaLive Premium/Bluetooth to my 2012 Hyundai SantaFe. Flawless. Good audio quality. Then I get a phone call which I answer (either with the in steering wheel button or on screen button) and I can hear the caller, but they are drowned out by distorted streaming audio. Also the caller can hear this distorted audio. This seemingly continues indefinitely.
I then usually tap the Bluetooth button or the speaker button to switch off. Call ends, and audio resumes perfectly.
Any thoughts on this? Tweak to remedy it? Thanks everyone for the support.

This happened to me once when i received an incoming call while listening to music. the music stopped (seemed that way) but the caller said they could actually hear the music still playing. i haven't been able to replicate it though.
It seems to me on the new android devices that the streaming audio in the background isn't actually "stopped" for some events, and instead is only turned down for others. For instance, using the Google Navigation, instead of stopping Pandoras music like my old phone did, it will now simply turn it down some so you can hear the voice guidance, then turn the music back up. I actually like this feature because you can still hear the music in the background.
I am wondering if there is some kind of bug that is causing this to happen for a Bluetooth call event where the music is being turned down instead of off?
Hey everyone,
does anybody else have the issue, that when you record anything in a loud environment (e.g.: festival, loud car music, club),
that the recorded sound becomes super stuttery and even mutes out when it's too loud?
I'm having this issue on WhatsApp.
Can anybody else try turning up music loud and record a voice note on WhatsApp and listen to it if it also mutes out/stutters?
Thanks in advance!
