You can't do anything.
Devices with sim lock aren't unlockable.

Thank you for the quick reply.
Hi all
My Arc was sim locked. I bought and get some different codes such NSCK, NCK, SPCK, CCK.
I used NCK code for unlocking my sim. Now my Arc is SIM FREE, but I can not get into fastboot mode.
Is there a solution for this ? or I must accept that my device is a forever-unlocakble one!?

Not yet, and pretty much. Hopefully a dev will figure it out at some point but for now it's a waiting game.
Let's all hope for the best and hopefully it comes later than sooner.

Hi,
I trying to unlock bootloader of Fido's Experia Pro. but It cannot boot in fastboot mode even though push menu key + Connect USB cable.
Does anyone know hot to resolve this?
Configuration is same as official site.
It stuck on STEP10.
If it came from a service provider chances are its locked down, so will need setool to unlock it. There is a thread on it.

Thank you.
I'm gonna check SEtool.
Did you ever get anywhere? I just picked up the same phone thinking i could use SE's official unlock method and was surprised to see these phones don't support it. Way to go Fido/Rogers! Brilliant move
So now I need to find another way to unlock it.
XDA member Alejandrissimo was able to do it for me remotely pretty easily. See this thread:

but i really want to overclock it.
i read another thread about r800x bootloader being cracked http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1197890
but want sure if its a 100% success
is there anyway to unlock r800i bootloader? or another method of overclocking cpu?

You can unlock your bootloader, but you have to pay
thankx for reply
2 questions
how much?
how to?
There is no need to pay. Simply use this guide to unlock your bootloader for free.
I have an R800i and did it myself. Just make certain that you install Gordon's Gate drivers on your PC otherwise you'll be left with a phone you can not reflash afterwards.
what using Omnius for SE v0.23 ?

That only works for phones which are not sim locked (subsidized) by a carrier. For all those that do have sim locked phones, such as myself, you do indeed need to pay to get it unlocked by someone that has the tools to do so remotely. You can find someone in the General forum that can do it for you.

My phone was sim locked to UK orange, too. I paid alejandrisimo just under 20 quid and he enabled fastboot, unlocked the bootloader and removed sim lock in about 5 mins. All remotely. Thread was in the general section.

I recently got my arc unlocked (network-unlocked), and when i try to go into fastboot mode, my phone instead boots up, shows the sony ercisson screen and then shows a battery charging screen. Im trying to get into fastboot mode.
Help?
Are you holding down the menu button before you plug it in? (Rightmost button)
Yes, and im on world generic firmware
Is your boot-loader unlocked?
no, i am trying to get into fastboot in order to unlock it. I am wondering if its my firmware which is blocking fastboot from enabling?

Read the guides, if the phone came sim unlocked then its user error somewhere.

Im using this guide: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-unlock-bootloader-xperia-arc-play-neo-pro/
i am just unable to boot into fastboot. All i get in fastboot.exe is < waiting for device >
Go to the first link in my sig, and you'll find a simple method to check if you can unlock in the standard way, try that and report back.

I did that, but i didnt see "bootloader unlock allowed:yes" in configuration, I didnt see anything of that at all. I saw SIM in Sim card, and there was a 0, if that means anything. Also, what firmware should i be on to check this?
I think you'll have to use SETool then, ie remote unlock.

Nvm...flashed the newest firmware and checked it again, bootloader unlock allowed: no
How Do I find out the bootloader status (Locked/unlocked ?) of my xperia ARC.

dial from your phone to check status :
*#*#7378423#*#*
service info --> configuration
for me, the best way is via fastboot..

dear gogo,
I've tried that, the service info will tell you "bootloader unlock allowed = yes"
it will not tell you whether your phone is locked or unlocked state!
It will tell you.
Mine is unlocked and says " Bootloader unlocked: Yes "

that means your bootloader is still locked, and you were allowed to unlock it.

In that case se will provide me new code to unlock?
I don't remember the old code they provided
Regret for the seeking the clarification again as I don't want to endup in trouble later.

Yes, you can unlock again.
Request the code again and you'll see if they provide it again.

it's ok.
I've tried it.
the unlock code is still the same code you had received before.
the remaining question is whether you sure to unlock it again or not, as standard user doesn't need to do such thing.
bravery comes from experience.
that's it bro.
I think your problem has solved.

For the info...
Bootloader unlocked: Yes
Means fastboot is enabled and the bootloader can be unlocked the official way
Bootloader unlocked: No
Means fastboot is disabled and therefore the bootloader can only be unlocked by other means
The best way for you to check your bootloader status is do identify in s1tool or similar
hi to all! So as you see fastboot is not working on my play and I want to repair it. At first I had orange sim lock - solved. Than i unlocked bootloader via testpoint, but this fu… Lovely fastboot isn't still working. (my phone just turning on when you hold search button)

I didn't pay anything because I unlocked it by testpoint, you don't need to turn on fastboot, just plug turned off phone without battery.

is it information blockade?
alejandrissimo solved it
