Issues
1.)I fixed wifi but DO NOT USE VERIZON 3G HOTSPOT it has issues and will break wifi i have not yet figured it out but i will eventually
NOTES:i DECIDED TO GO BACK TO STOCK MMS FOR A FEW REASONS
1:MMS WORKS PERFECTLY WITH IT
2:VISUAL VOICE MAIL WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT
3:MMS OVER WIFI WORKS WITH IT
NOW SINCE I DIDNT EDIT THE DEFAULT.XML FOR IT YET YHERE WILL BE A DEAD MMS ICON ON THE HOMESCREEN AND ON THE LOCKSCREEN.... IF YOU WANT MMS ON THE HOMESCREEN JUST DRAG THE DEAD ICON INTO THE ROSIE OPEN THE APP DRAWER AND DRAG UP THE WORKING MMS.... AND FOR THE LOCKSCREEN GO INTO PERSONALIZE/LOCKSCREEN TAP THE MMS SHORTCUT THEN SCROLL DOWN TILL YOU SEE MMS AND SELECT IT AND THATS IT....
this is still a work in progress but it is definately good enough for a daily driver i have used i for 3 days now with no problems
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reserved for later
Sweet, downloading now, i will let you know any bugs i find.
MMS and 3g work I take it? Also....is it the MMS from 3.0? Looks good man..will flash first thing in AM. Too late for me. This is definitely up my alley being from the Mik crew

Ok, so i tried to install this through Rom Manager, i wiped data and started from scratch but in doing that it took me right to setup. After setup, i restarted into recovery to install rmk's superuser patch. After the patch ran...my phone Bootlooped, got stuck on the HTC screen for about five minutes before i restored.
looked pretty sweet so far though!

I know just from the brief bit that i used this rom, it had a chinese option
LOVE IT! Looks beautiful, runs smooth, and i love the transparant app drawer. The only thing I do not like is the rosie settings. Its a great idea but it needs a direct link to personalize.

Ok guys this rom is something that was in the plan for a long time and its finally done.
This rom is based off of HTC Runnymede 1.05.401.4 with Sense 3.5 and GB 2.3.5. This is the initial release and there will be future updates as needed.
Right now we haven't tested on all the devices, but we confirmed Vivo W, Inspire, and Incredible S are working.
A really big thanks goes out to Cappychimp and RC-Team for a lot of the added tweaks and multidevice zip, and to romanbb for the original tweaks.
This ROM supports Desire HD (also Telus), Desire S, Desire Z, Inc 2, Inc S, Inspire 4G and myTouch 4G (again, thanks to rc team)

Couple things:
There was a small orange line at the top of the screen/status bar. Persisted after status bar tweaks (e.g. clock, signal, battery) Persisted after a full reboot.
Facebook sync would not authorize Sense to update the Friendstream widget and the like. The dialog to authorize would come up, hit "Authorize" and the dialog would come back in an endless loop. I then deleted the FB account and readded it, the problem persisted.
Ill attach some screenshots to show you what I mean.
Otherwise everything worked properly. 108mb free RAM at boot. Nice for a 3.5 ROM

it dont matter... odex or deodex... the diff is a lil long to explain but bottom line is that in odex there is no dalvik created for system apps which saves a lil room on data and that 1st boot is faster.

It persisted after putting all the mods back to stock. Is the add on not able to be disabled?

ok
go to tweaks in settings -> status bar options -> battery options -> battery bar options
in there u should see the settings for that mod just uncheck the box with "show battery bar" and it should go away.
Better than rcmix3d? What's about battery life, benchmark, stable?

So I played with it for awhile last night....everything works. Looks great and I like all the tweaks. My only problem is without oc the rom was really laggy. When I oc it would run great for a minute but then freeze. I did notice 108mb free ram though!

Hey guys,
As of now there is no pure AOKP ROM for our Vision so I decided to port it over. This is based on the Nexus S version of AOKP. Thanks to Team Kang, jerl92 and CyanogenMod for the base ROMs.
Additionally I made this ROM tablet mode ready. This ROM is already V6 SuperCharged, big thanks to zeppelinrox for his amazong script. The V6 SuperCharger script is also copied to the root of your sdcard so you can change settings at any time. As well you will find the "Daemon Controller" app by Sybregunne and his oc daemon ready for action (just open up and change frequencies, governor or change to sleep and wake profile).
Have a look at the changelog in the 2nd post to see what changed from last version.
To improve the experience with this ROM in the future any constructive feedback is very much appriciated.
So long
Cid-Vox
Tablet Mode:
You can easily switch to tablet mode with this ROM. These are the steps to activate tablet mode:
1. Set the build.prop value for ro.sf.lcd_density to 128
- Method1: rename the build.prop (to build.phone) and the included build.tablet to build.prop
- Method2: use an app to change the density Link
- Method3: LCD Density Modder Pro can apply a density only for the next boot
2. Set the font size to huge (works with normal too but its hard to read)
3. Patch your Play Store (if you need it)
- Method1: get the hacked play store here
- Method2: you can use an app to fix the Play Store, as of now I only know LCD Density Modder Pro
4. Your soft-buttons might be crammed together - use a custom image for one of the 5 possible buttons (take a simple black picture and the button will be "hidden")
Get more help and info here and here.

Instructions:
1. Do a full wipe (recommended but not always necessary)
2. Go to recovery and flash the ROM
3. Flash gapps
4. Reboot (this might take some time due to app optimization)
5. If battery drains fast do a full charge this might fix that
6. Enjoy AOKP and ICS

AOKP
Code:

[B]AOKP Milestone5:[/B]
- updated to IMM76I
- + differences between IMM76D and IMM76I are ALL in the Galaxy Nexus kernel
- + we updated the Galaxy Nexus kernel to Faux’s 16m kernel by default, which incorporates the fixes from IMM76I
- fixed long press home on navbar being on by default
- fixed volume zoom playing sounds with video camera
- made flash-off indicator visible in camera
- AVRCP: fixed soft reboots with certain players
- fixed brightness slider jumping when toggling auto-brightness

- attempted to fix freezing clock yet again
- fixed wifi icon being cut off
- fixed color multipliers being doubled
- + new gamma ranges from -100 to 100 defaulting to 0
- + your kernel (if it supports gamma tuning) might have a different default, so just keep that in mind (60 was the previous default)
- fixed small icons when airplane mode & wifi are enabled
- added shortcuts to toggle torch & toggle navbar
- + that means you can add these to nav bar as regular actions or long press actions, click “Custom app”, scroll down to “System UI”, toggle nav bar & torch should be there.

- Fixed decrease lights in custom backlight settings
- a500 renamed to picasso and updated
- + everything should work now except slow GPS lock times
This is interesting. What exactly does tablet mode do? I've read up on a few other device forums about it but the descriptions are really vague. Is it multi window for android handsets?

Holy **** this looks awesome, thanks!
not completely satisfied with current ICS offerings for DZ, so I'm trying this out.
thanks for the dev!
So far, I keep getting "ROM Control has Stopped". The ROM is greatly by the way, I'm deciding on using this or my HTC Amaze with ICS.

pressing the home button gives me the option of Launcher or Nova Launcher.
What is this rom intended to be used with? Or are there any tweaks to make it run better with one launcher vs. the other?
I've only used MIUI and Trebuchet Launcher, I'm unaware as to what makes Nova launcher good...
I plan on downloading when I get home for SURE but while I'm out, does camera and keyboard rotation work ? Any lag problems ? I imagine not since its based on a fully functional ROM but just asking

Nova launcher is there for tablet mode because any other launcher will crash. And go here for mods. And since this is milestone 5, look for the mods that have m5 in the titles.
@op, you should put that link in the first post for everyone to have quick access to it. And hope it helped

EDIT: New issue. Changed density to 128 within ROM CONTROL options. And now I have to reflash the rom. It is causing system to crash and nova to crash. Endless crash loop. Reflashing now.
I've been running this ROM in non-tablet mode all morning. I haven't tried an ICS ROM since Virtuous Quattro RC3 because I was sick of the camera bug. Nice to see that's all sorted these days
Tried to launch Viber & it sent the phone into a freeze for several minutes, then it rebooted itself. Not sure which is at fault here, the app or the ROM.
Everything seems a little laggy (moving between home screens, launching & navigating through the app drawer, etc.), even after OC.
ETA: Sorry if this is a n00b question, but it seems that Gmail & Maps (the apps themselves) aren't included in the gapps, is that right? I flashed the gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip version. Play, Talk, and the other bits seem to be working. I've been wondering why my emails weren't coming up on my phone & realised I didn't actually have Gmail installed...
I am getting error 942 whenever i try to download something on the play store, this is regardless of the version of the Play Store i use. Any idea?

Nova launcher is there for tablet mode because any other launcher will crash. And go here for mods. And since this is milestone 5, look for the mods that have m5 in the titles.
@op, you should put that link in the first post for everyone to have quick access to it. And hope it helped

I will take a look at the mods and test if they work for us.
Feel free to try them and report back. You can also tell me if you want me to port some mods if they don't work.

Try to delete Data and Cache for the Play Store and reboot. If that doesn't work you can additionaly try to remove the Google account.
Having trouble downloading it. Minus doesn't work and Mediafire is screwing with me can anyone mirror?
EDIT: Nevermind OP posted wrong link to minus. Downloading now! ......SLOWWWWW
I need help. I pressed "reset nav bar" and it dissapeared...I rebooted and its still not there.. how do I get it back? Thanks

Hybrid speedup, less lag, considerably faster list scrolling when pad/pal is in action
Keyboard scaling, an androids first
PAD/PAL bugfixes for apps that still crop images in lower dpis
Settings revamp, speed preferences to switch between modes without having to set up anything, less clutter
Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you

Fixed a lot of other things on pad & pal, cleaned up sources
Fixed themes crash on tab mode, still crashes sometimes on phone mode. [Seems this one is totally fixed now. Need to test a bit more]

Just about ready to flash!
WOW- This is really cool!
Few Questions
"Roming Indicator Off" is appearing below the lock screen
For hybrid setting what what dpi should be used for individual apps? (dpi for tablet vs phone)
Can I flash a different kernel?
Any chance of pointing me to the direction of the wallpaper below!
Bug Report-
Roaming Indicator Off in the status bar and lockscreen instead of Sprint.
Other than thatm spectacular rom thanks daxmax and paranoidandroid team!
Damn have to wait till 6pm est to flash

Bug report:
"Unfortunately 4G settings has stopped" - when I enter the 4G menu.
Haven't flashed a new kernel yet.
Questions:
I second the questions prior to this including preferred dpi. And also: does it really mess things up (visually, home screen, etc) if you turn off hybrid/tablet ui? I'm not even really sure of the diff between these two options. Is there a clean way to revert to phone mode?
Edit: also, in tablet mod eis it possible to move status bar up top?

You can turn off/on the tablet mode as when you like... I prefer hybrid, thats mean, play with dpi... And which layout you preferred.
No.

This rom is really sweet!
FYI Homescreens (Launcher, Homescreen,Homescreens) gives me a force close, I tried to fix permissions and still received FC "unfortunalely, Trebuchet has stopped"
nova seems to be running fine.
this is CM based but I don't see an option for skipping tracks w/ volume. is this possible to add?
Edit: has anyone switched the main default dpi? I'd like everything to be just slightly larger.
can you make a wallpaper out of the paranoid android logo seen on the OP

agree- but it is probably because our screen is smaller
Torch power widget working or is it me?
there also doesn't seem to be a way to customize the power widgets in the bar?
also getting a weird error i've never seen before in mybackup when trying to restore sms/mms: cannot downgrade database from version 60 to 55?
I came from a 4.0.4 ROM too ..
never had this error in all my days of flashing. not even from gb --> ics.
Edit: good portion of my games force close instantly when opening. cleared data, changed per app DPI to 240. nada
Edit #2: what i think is relevant to the game FCs in logcat: android findlibrary returned null
this comes to you thanks to 1ceb0x and rukin. Both great devs. These are 1ceb0x's builds for GSM, cdma-ified. You should hit up their original threads here:
1ceb0x's thread
Rukin's thread
Also a giant thanks to Curiousn00b, who fixed the videocam recording issue. Please thank him!
1ceb0x was nice enough to let me bring this to you, so keep it civil in here guys. Bugs will be the exact same as his builds, i just cdma-ified them so we can enjoy them too. New build is coming as i type this, now we will be on par with 1ceb0x's gsm builds.
Leave me bugreports if things dont work. Logcats and a description of the problem are helpful. All bugs will be present in both 1ce's gsm build and my cdma build from him.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of it.

Hybrid mode is the heart and soul of paranoidandroid. Forget tablet mode or build.prop changes! Hybrid mode will not break your phone, your apps, your market, nothing will shrink or become unusable. Entire parts of AOSP have been rewritten to make this possible, you will not get anything like it anywhere, this is the only rom on Android capable of these things.
Hybrid mode means you can control the size and the actual layout of any app individually. Keep in mind, apps bring their own layouts, they will display according to your device. That’s why apps like gmail, settings, youtube, camera, chrome, etc., transform completely when you run them on a tablet. This rom allows you to choose whatever layout you like best, we don’t fool around with DPI, we extract the actual layouts from your apk’s and you select them with a tap. Apply and you’re done. No reboot necessary. You can target anything: apps, system components, widgets, launchers, keyboards, statusbars, lockscreen, etc.
Finetune your workspace or apply hybrid settings to all your apps if you don’t like to set them up individually. Individual settings will still override this so you can still get the look you want.
For ease of use you can access hybrid properties in your recents view, this will allow you to quickly review changes. Basic things like recents, toggles, etc. have been made usable across all UI modes.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

I keep getting a force close on the camera when trying to open it. Also, the Hwa settings force closes on boot and when I try to open it. Aside from that issue, love speed and smoothness.
Thanks for your replys guys. I'll be working on 1ce's newest update soon which solves a lot more stuff. Not sure why the cam isn't working right, hopefully the next version works OK.
You can use a 3rd party camera app from Google play like camera ICS. It should solve problems till I update.

Looking forward to the update. i tried camera ICS and get the same force close. The other camera apps I've tried, Camera FX, Line Camera, Camera MX, all lock the home screen in landscape mode unless you uncheck autorotate. Hopefully you can fix the issue. Thanks for porting this to our device.
forgot to add, its hard for me to get things going on the weekends, my phone is mission critical all weekend. during the week, i dont need to field any calls, so im going to start the next port today and get it all tested out. hopefully it should be ready before mid week, please dont hold me to that though.
ill make sure the next port has all the camera issues solved, i was looking through 1ce's work over on the gsm side, and they dont seem to be having the issue (or nobody is talking about it lol) so it should be easy to fix.
thanks for being patient guys!
Thanks for the work, no rush. I know you devs donate your time and effort to bring the rest of us these ROMs.
I realize you have a life and will take the updates as they come.
Edit: You may want to check with rukin about the camera. I think he got both camera and video recording working on aokp for primoc.
thanks riggerman. i owe you a thanks, im out for the day. :good:
Ninja edit: new January 3rd build uploading now. Camera works for me, camcorder still fcs like every other jb build we have. Apps in the market can give you video recording. Hwa settings still fcs, ignore it or remove the apk from /system/app if you would like. Link will be in 2nd post again. Happy hacking!
edit 2: new build posted in 2nd post. THANKS TO 1ceb0x for this.
HWA Settings turned out to be a Kernel problem. You could remove that.
And why does Camera recording not work? Its works 100% for me?
Sent from my One V using Tapatalk 2
Please clue me in to what your doing to have working video recording lol I've been in wondering how to get that working since I started running jb. Every jb ROM for me has fcs when I press the record button. 3rd party apps seem to work but I have never been able to get the one in the ROM to record. If you can help me get it working solid I'll give you credits in the op.
I'll delete the hwa settings also, probably the next update for that.
Also I'm giving you an text thanks since I'm out of them for the day.

Please share.....this ROM is running smoothly so far...
Just my hardware keys are not lit up is there a backlight setting I may have missed? Thanks once again for this....

Hei dude,
For HWA settings you need to do this in init.rc:
Code:
and in init.rc, you need to create the folder /data/local/hwui.deny and set his owner to system user
For cam recorder - i have no clue. maybe some libs that you need to change? what does the logcat say?
awesome that you have this up an running! i am glad that now the cdma side will benefit from this rom by using your work.
Everything is working great so far except for PA Settings. I can set between Phone, Phablet and Tablet UI but when I go to change the default sizes everything remains the same and none of the sliders work. Play store and a bunch of apps are at HUGE display sizes.
When I port the ROMs over, I don't change the sensor files or anything. Just APNs and Telephony part in build.prop.
Changing the name from PrimoU to C causes you to have to replace even more files. The phone will have PrimoU file but looking for C files which aren't there, so you'll have to add those in as well.
So I leave my phone as PrimoU. Not a big deal

Ill have to mess around with stuff. There shouldn't be a difference between primou and primoc libs though, but I'll look at it more.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
The build.prop says Primoc, but files say Primou. Ckpv sent me a PM if where all the files are. Lemme find it.

Thanks for the info. Don't feel pushed to get it out as quick as possible. Remember we can wait. I don't want our last few devs to quit because we were too demanding (jmz & lloir)

Flashing instructions:
!!ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID FIRST!!

1. DL to PC and move to external sd card

Stable build works great with no issues that I'm aware of.
Mostly stock with aosp themeing
The calendar app theme still needs to be finished though.
***The only issues that I know of are 1)Sprint VVM apk wont update to a newer version for some reason. But it works fine. 2)The Google keyboard doesn't work but the other 2 keyboards available work fine. To get the Google keyboard working, uninstall it with TB and get it from the Playstore. HERE

**3 different silhouette options
I've been using the Vrtheme zip given to me by @tdunham in the MOAR thread and have come up with a Silhouette Changer. There are 3 zips with 3 options. 4.1.2 TW stock, Light aosp and Dark aosp (Dark is default for Dandroid). Flash in recovery. I've tested this using CWM and expect it will work on all 4.3 ROMs.
4.1.2 stock TW
Light aosp
Dark aosp (Dandroid Default)

*A short note on using wanam
Wanam xposed module is a great tool. But in order for it to do its magic it takes the native csc/features.xml and backs it up by renaming it "features.xml.bak" and replaces it with it's own. This is fine but the result is that some of the options native to this ROM are changed. Like the camera shutter sound option in the camera settings and the keyboard symbols available in the samsung keyboard for example. So if you choose to use wanam and a feature you didn't count on changing is different, thats what happened.
Disclaimer: Flash at your own risk!
*It is important to note that there may be additional issues I don't know about and as I am a truck driver, not a programmer I may or may not be able to fix things.
Everyone is encouraged to do what ever you like with anything I post, but a little credit would be appreciated.

looks great!
Thanks Dan. I'm using a port of your d2tmo right now planning how to implement more of your work here. Right now the only issue I can't figure out is the torch light doesn't work yet. (Yet!)

I've added a "test build" for folks to try. It has additional features I'm trying to work out.
12-27-2013 Test build includes:
Modified Settings
App Ops
4.4 Clock
CM 4.4 Calculator
4way reboot menu
Bluetooth tethering hack (untested)
Added Flashlight/Torch toggle in quicksettings (Awesome!)
Google Wallet (untested)
Multiwindow all apps enabled (buggy)
Know problems:
System Update FCs
Torch light option in settings doesn't work
Voice dialer doesn't have a voice(?)
Usage manager FCs (will likely just remove it)
Titanium Backup FC (Never had that problem before)
I've been in a roaming area all day so I don't know if Data is working. Wifi is great and calling both in and out are fine.
Titanium Backup having FC problems latest update. Nothing to do with your ROM.
Getting FCs when accessing my personal profile in Contacts.

Which version are you on? I'm using the test version and just accessed my personal profile without any problems.
I'll be installing this when I get home!

121 DLs so far. I guess the lack of chatter in here indicates no complaints? I have a new build I'm testing tonight. If it goes well I'll likely release it tomorrow. It includes more AOSP apks and a different settings apk. I will let everyone know how it goes. I'd really like it if folks let me know what you think so far. What do you like? Do you think the quick settings look ok? In the 4.1.2 version of Dandroid they were grey when off and white when on. Now they are white when off and blue when on. I like it just wondering what others think.
Added a new build in the OP:
Change log:
Changed settings apk which added,
SEAndroid control (not sure what it does),
App ops
Notification history
Torch light option (not working yet)
Also changed;
CM 4.4 Calculator
4.4 Clock
4.4 Email
Torch
4way reboot menu (Previous menu was 3 way)
Updated SuperSU
Added AdFree
And debloated a little more
Please let me know what you all think. I've been trying to figure out why the Torch light wont work!? I'll keep working on it. I'm also learning about Aroma so in future builds folks can have more options about what to install. Really looking forward to that!
Enjoy
had some problems with contacts force closing if i clicked on a person's name (to try and forward vcard info for example)
also i was having some issues with mobile data... sometimes it seemed like it was working, then all of a sudden i had full bars but no data.
i tried going into the sprint connection optimizer but that force closed too.
i didn't really have time to investigate it, i was thinking maybe I just needed to update the profile, but i just restored 4.1 dandroid.
The connection manager is not included. Thats why it FCed in settings. I dont trust it myself but I'll put it back in the next build. Im not sure about the contacts issue. I havent had trouble with that myself but someone else mentioned it earlier. Which version did were you on?
Edit: If anyone wants to add the connection manager, dl http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23269279319199871 and move it with your favorite file explorer to device/system/app. Set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot. It'll probably give you a toast message telling you its not ready at first but just let it settle in and after a while it'll be ready.
Edit 2: ok I've finally been able to replicate the contacts issue. It was ok until I edited my profile so if folks avoid that for now I expect itll be ok until I can get a log cat. Thanks uf20wop for pointing this out. Ive disabled the dl link for the new build for now.
I too am having issues with contacts FCing and no mobile data. I'm also not a fan of the lock screen or the system ui noises. I can always change those, though. Aside from that, I really like this rom.
---------- Post added at 01:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:36 PM ----------
I've also just realized that I'm not on the MK3 modem. I don't know if that would make a difference, but I'm going to go flash that and see if mobile data comes back.
Edit:
I believe that may have done the trick.

From experience and a lot of user complaints with other roms. I would recommend full wipes including internal storage especially if coming from 4.1.2. And updated modem.
