Sorry but I dont understand why anybody would want to have their account deleted or go to the trouble of posting to get it removed?
If you dont wat to use XDA, wouldn't it be easier just to not visit?

True but most forums prune inactive accounts anyway.

Can you not read? If you can't read a few posts in this thread you might be better off having your account deleted. PM an admin.

XDA Forum donation - admin/mod needed

I've seen some links for individual donaions bu what about an email address to send paypal funds to for a general donation. I've been a silent user for 18 months, time to help out!
Thanks
I'm not an admin or a moderator, but here's where you can donate to XDA. You even get nice stars next to your user name for every 10 euros donated. Hope that helps
thanks...
Yes, I saw that but wanted the receiving email address of the account instead of taking a hop from this site to PayPal. It's a paranoia thing.
Thanks~
Just PM Flar or svetius about it
Thanks, aiko =D.
Our donation PayPal is [email protected]

[Q] Posting images and links?

When I try to post a link or image, I get a message saying I need to be verified by a moderator. How do I get approved? I've been signed up here for over a month.
Reading and searching
As it has been answered many times before: You need to get to certain number of posts, then all XDA fetures will be automatically unlocked
If that's the case, then the error message should be changed to indicate that you don't have enough posts, not that you need to wait for a moderator to verify your account.

Yeah, I will raise it again and see if that can be changed.
Thanks. That would make it a little less confusing for the newbies.

My question kinda answered itself.
Apparently everyone is able to send private messages, even users with less than 10 posts
EDIT: @roofrider
thanks for the info.

Everyone can send PM's, however, don't be surprised if your PM's asking questions that could have been found with an easy search are ignored by some members. Or tech support questions, many users simply ignore questions that aren't asked and answered in the public forum for all to benefit from.

If you would, please edit the title of the first post to include [SOLVED], save it, and then click on the little triangle report button in the upper left corner of the first post and ask for the thread to be closed as it has been solved? I promise to give you a thanks if you do this.
Thank you!
