[Q] Use the Nexus 7 as USB OTG to stream music in car

Hi guys,
I just recently rooted my nexus 7, and when I tried to connect it to my car, the OTG functionality doesn't work.
I've tried using StickMount and Nexus Media Import, but neither of them worked. For NMI, whenever I select export, it doesn't detect the destination device.
Basically, I want to use the Nexus as a USB device to stream music in my car. Once I get this working, I'll use PodMode w/ aux until if someone figures out USB audio out.
I feel like I'm overlooking something since I've seen couple of people making comment about this working for them. I'd appreciate if someone could help out. Thx!

I cant seem to make it work. The controller works fine on my s4 but when i try to connect my note 4. Doesnt show up on the bluetooth scanner any advice to this problem ?

These may be stupid questions, because I don't have the controller, but did you you try to unpair the old S4? Then if you did that did you try to make the gamepad discoverable? If you need more help I'll see if I can find a manual on the gamepad and do a little research.

Anyone get the DS4 to work?

So I have an original DS4 (apparently this isn't an issue with the latest model) and while it will connect via BT it doesn't actually work. This is the first android device I've seen not work with this controller and I find it super annoying.
I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten it to work?

I've not been able to get either of mine to connect and work. Do you know what models are supposed to work. I might see if I can do a swap with my brothers newer version.

[Help] Does Miracast work?

I have an Australian HTC 10 running LOS 14.1-20170601 nightly, and a JVC Kenwood DDX9017DABS head unit in my car. I've not been able to get the Cast feature to find the unit, or any other Miracast apps. I even tried restoring a stock backup and that also couldn't find it, yet the Samsung S7 the installer used worked just fine.
Has anyone managed to get Miracast to work?
