ICS Status Bar and Notifications?

Is it possible to take the status bar from ICS and modify ours so we have a status bar like that?

[Q] Notification Area Weather-no status bar icon?

I was wondering if there was any weather widget which would stay on notification area (a bit iOS like) ...Did manage find a few apps which did it, but all of them need to have the temperature icon on my status bar, which i dont like....
is there any way i could get the weather in notification without adding on the status bar icon.!
any tips please?

AOKP rom has a simple weather text in notification header.

please I have on status bar some as little mobile icon. On notification show as service HTC connect. What is it?
