I'm after a Telstra stock standard rom, please. (I idiot didn't do a back up of the original rom )
I have put the 2.2 optus rom on it which works but I cannot do a factory reset, either soft or hard.
There is a website I could use for file uploads...
Very appreciative for anybody that could help.
Rainer
Try here, it has the standard telstra sbf there.

Have you flashed a full SBF or a fixed SBF?

I dont think hes talking of a port instead the leaked stock 2.3.3 for MB526
Look at the post, he clearly says he updated it in the past... Mb 526 is not even mentioned once in his question.

the leaked roms have been around for one or two months now, so doesnt that count as 'past'? and cm7/miui are both 2.3.4/2.3.5, not 2.3.3... oh, and why are you so sure hes a he and not a she?

He hasn't mentioned of a port either, Anyways apart from our personal conflicts the user still needs to specify whether he has flashed a full or a fixed sbf.

he can get back to froyo with a nandroid, even if he flashed a full sbf, right?
sent from my cm7 defy...
Thats right but that is eligible only once the device is rooted. Has he flashed a full SBF , I dont think there is yet a method to root the 2.3.3 stock rom or so I read the last time I bumped into the Development forum.

The answer to this is on my Beginner's Guide, last part on Common Problems
Installed full Gingerbread SBF and can’t go back to another rom
It's possible to fix the mess
I recently download MS2ginger1.1 (walter97) and installed with fixed sbf 109(kernel).
but i found another fixed sbf (fixed_sbf_newleak.sbf) in downloaded package.
Should i need to flash this SBF also or only 109 sbf need to flash ?
Please suggest me.
Regards,
Abhijit
Same question.
And if we came from froyo to ms2ginger and want to go back, can we flash full sbf of that froyo?!

No you don't need to flash another fixed sbf.
Yes you can flash full SBF froyo to downgrade.

you will probably not be able to update OTA... but someone will find a way to port the update for the old defy running on defy + rom......cheers
