Please help Me find Swedish generic 181 ftf or a branded 3 rom 181/184 from Sweden and is also 2.3.2 version. (Because Generic UK/World 2.3.2 used for Root and update via OTA to 2.3.3 is with very bad reception, when using 3 as telephony supplier in my country).
You are kind forum members amd maybe you can help?

I found a Nordic 2.3.2 with good baseband at wontanserver and flashed it, did root with Gingerbreak but now I cant do OTA (no network or something like that).
I didn't root mine, but I updated my Neo through Wotanserver too and it worked flawlessly!

I know there would be no issues with global but I would prefer to have it as UK since when upates come I would have the correct basebands and so on? Or is arc updates different to x10?
I have Arc LT15a from Rogers Canada (fw 3.0.1.A.0.145) and want to upgrade to the newest fw 4.0.A.2.368- however, it is available only for LT15i.
If I simply flash the firmware, will my phone work?
(I know the difference between LT15a and i is in frequencies, but they might be entirely hw based- the fw maybe doesn't even "know" what frequencies it is using)
Thanks!
It works fine I just put the new one using the xda flasher tool works great slot faster you have to manually add the apn but I love it so far. You can find the rogers apn info but if you need it I will post it

it works..
Build 4.0 on my Rogers arc.
You can flash any v2.x firmware onto any phone. The firmwares contain both (software) radios for i and a.
However, flashing an "i" firmware onto an "a" phone will NOT give you "i" frequency 3G support and vice versa ("a" firmware on an "i" phone will NOT give you "a" frequency 3G support).
The HARDWARE radios are fixed.
It also doesn't unlock your phone (buy an unlock code) nor does it re-lock a SIM/network unlocked phone (unlocking in once and permanent).
LT15a update 4.0.A.2.368 ad hoc?
Hello everyone.
Does the 4.0.A.2.368 FW comes with Ad Hoc support? or is it just a urban legend?
I am really trying to get ad hoc support for my Xperia Arc. I have already checked around and didn't find any "success" story..
I tried myself with 4 different wpa_supplicants from around the forums.. for android 2.3.3 (my current version)... I was hoping they will work.. but nothing... most of them don't work at all (either the Wi Fi doesn't scan or the phone crashes completely )
I also read a post saying that CM7.1.0 - FXP045 has ad hoc support can anyone confirm this? what about the other functions? given the comments I read on its thread it seems to be rather bugsome...
I also found out this thread for X10
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1253087
I will either try that X10 solution to see if it works for ARC ... or go for the update to 4.0.A.2.368 if it has Ad Hoc support already..
I have a Xperia Arc (LT15a) Rogers Branded - rooted - 2.3.3 - 3.0.1.A.0.145
Any help would be great!.. Thanks a lot.
I've just bought myself an Xperia Play from O2 and have started gathering the information to root it and flash generic firmware to it as it currently has O2 branded firmware on it (not sure of the version as it's been put away for Christmas now ).
Am curious / confused as to what the latest generic firmware is and where it originates from e.g. UK, Nordic etc.
I've read there is a 4.0.A.2.368 generic UK firmware update which adds xLoud, landscape homescreen amongst other things and theres also the 4.0.2.A.58 version here on XDA. Which is the latest and better??
Thanks in advance for any help
I vote the .58 one

Tx David!!
Ok, but i want to know: which firmware (*.ftf) should I use to get 0.69 through OTA?
would appreciate your help
4.0.2.A.0.62 In my opinion.
hi all
You see the titlle, i need the *.ftf R800i 4.0.2.A.0.42 Trade Generic Germany
Thanks
Another question?
Wich one of *.ftf is the latest ROM for Xperia Play? the 0.69 or 4.0.1.A.0.283
Tx again folks
hmm, also looking for this one to root and OTA update to .69.
.69 is the newest one.
In another thread (german thread) someone flashed with Wontanserver.
With the client, you choose .42 and select german generic trade. Then you root
and choose OTA update to get to .69 with root.
Only disadvantage with Wotanserver is that you´ll have to pay for flashing through PAYPAL.
tx uncut
omg, i dont have credits fot that,
Does anyone have the *.ftf?
bump.
