its not working for desire hd :-(
Hmm, I thought so too. It doesn't work as its stated. But then, which miui rom do you use? If I'm not mistaken, Mr.G's miui and NDT's has embedded multilanguage support in their 1.7.22 build.

I am on 1.7.29
Is the MUI rom totally in English now or is there still some Chinese stuff?
I'll try to ask them if they got their multilingual pack in a separate flashable zip.

The current source from miui.us has complete English support. The only Chinese left if from the selection of theme (Chinese dev's theme obviously).
8penned from my blazing fast DHD
EDIT: Its known that the latest .29 build was based on miui.us where .22 was chinese translated and UK sourced. Miui.us doesn't has any language package in it. (Miui freshly squeezed and NDT)
EDIT2: Theres still Chinese in DND setting but fixed in Mr.G .29v3
pack
to others, I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196670 which you can download a pack

I use Swiftkey - although it FC's in FireFox, but that's probably a FF problem, though.
Have a look here:

i'm looking for a way to use Bulletproof MIUI ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216997 ) in Turkish language/locale, any ideas?
is it maybe possible to apply the 1.10.28 GLOBAL UPDATE, which contains multi language support, from MIUI-XJ for Desire ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957291 ) ?
there's also the official MIUI translation page, which has 100% translation for XML files in my language ( http://crowdin.net/project/miui-rom-translation/tr ), can that be of any use?
Ask in the bulletproof thread for a rom specific question. I know you aren't supposed to flash any other version of miui over bulletproof, so I wouldn't do that with the global release.

Hey guys,
I've used MIUI XJ before but it seems the multilanguage files aren't up to date.
Does this mean I can flash an older version of a multilanguage zip or that the languages now already are included in the rom?
From where did you get the multilanguage files are not up-to-date?
No, you should not flash a language file which was not exactly made for the version of the rom.
I checked the link with multi language zips and they were all for previous versions of the rom.
Here is a link to the multilanguage folder: http://htcfanboys.com/download/xavierjohn22/?action=browse&folder=68
Note that the latest version is 1.12.9
Edit: I think it changed because all the zips for multilanguage were in that folder but now i see there are links to miui.nl, miui.it etc...
So I have to download the rom from that site?
im still looking multilanguage pack for miui,
I'm using stock rom and I want to install MIUI on my phone... Does it support Arabic (RTL)?? If not so how can I get the FULL Arabic support (for Gmail, Browser, Maps, etc..) ??? :?

I don't think Hebrew is supported yet but if you keep talking about it I think a good Dev can sort stir one up.

juggernaut 5 supports right to left languages (for 2.3 roms, considering 4.0 always supports them) .... to transform the whole interface try Morelocal2 from playstore
thankx
I think all of the ICS based roms have native support for hebrew. The rom I'm using now (AOKP Build 35) has a complete translation to hebrew of the menus and UI elements.
